The hotel was ok. Mostly caters to longer stays. Guests seems to be workers in town for projects. Parking was tight. Lobby was a blah and I had sense of security focused and although I liked the staff, it was weird to see the reception people folding sheets within view of the reception desk. I had problems with nearby room which was resolved quickly. The well labeled wall thermostat was apparently old and abandoned, but how would I know this? The heating unit was loud when on and it created su... Read more

I rented this room as I was taking the logan express from braintree and needed a room close by The price was right and the room was clean. Staff at checkin were friendly though there was only one person working I did not test many of the amenities as I was only there to sleep but the bed and shower were both up to or

This was a pretty good stay. The front desk staff was GREAT. I had trouble finding a location of my meeting. They helped me and printed me out turn by turn directions. The room was nice and a good size and I appreciated the real silverwere and dishes that were in the kitchenette. The thermostat was a bit confusing, but once the front desk staff explained it to me, it worked fine. I wish they had a continental breakfast, but that really was a small detail. They do have complementary coffee... Read more

WE had to stay close Boston for medical reasons, and the Candlewood Suites was the .most affordable with home-making facilities. The rooms are basic, I liked the safety feature of putting a timer on the cooktop. Even though close to I-93, rooms were quiet. Perhaps the best feature is the quality of the mattresses, my wife and I have not been in queen bed together for many years, but these allowed us to sleep the sleep of a thousand babies. Plus, the washing machines and dryers are FREE!

I stayed here 4 nights... Haven't stayed here in a couple of years. I like the rooms with the kitchenette .. The hallways are a little shabby but over all I like this place.. Front desk staff are very nice.. Hope to stay there again soon.. I usually bid on my hotels and haven't been able to get this place in a while

My husband and I stayed at Candlewood Suites in Braintree on May 6th-8th. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect from a hotel which caters more towards long-term guests. Happily, I found the room to be clean and comfortable, and we especially liked the "honor system" refreshment option, as we could easily go in and grab a few bottles of water and fill out our slip. The gym was small and accommodating. I was entirely happy with our stay.

we were 2 couples and booked a one bedroom suite with pull-out couch. spacious bathroom and really comfy bed. pull-out couch needed a puffy mattress pad which staff quickly supplied. Front Desk staff very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again as it is very convenient to major highways.,,,and plenty of outlets!

The staff made you feel welcomed from the time you entered the front door throughout our entire visit, they were friendly and very helpful with anything that we needed. The Hotel was very clean. The standard room was like a Jr. suite, it had a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, flat top range, microwave, dishwasher with dishes, pots and pans the works. The bed was nice and firm, there was cable TV, they even had a reclining chair which my husband adored. There was plenty of storage throughou... Read more

We needed a place close to home for one night. We had our dog with us and they were very accommodating. The fee for dogs is only $15 which is so much cheaper than other hotels. It was very clean and the room is a good size with a full kitchen. The bed is very comfortable. I would come back if we needed again. The front staff person we very nice and welcoming.

Spacious clean rooms. Comfy bed and nice size bathroom. Located far from anything you need a car to get there. Shopping centre is about 2 miles away. Well priced it's nice place to stay when visiting Boston as Boston hotels are ridiculously high. We drove to the nearest train station 5 miles away and took the train into Boston. Only a 25 min train ride.

The rooms were very large. Wish I could give a good review but there was a constant stink in the halls and elevator. We were trying to sleep to drive back to Florida.... unfortunately people in a few rooms were so noisy sleeping wasn't an option. We decided to just pack up and leave. Told front desk and he was like well we have to charge for the full night...I can go talk to them. I told him we were leaving regardless...I was already up.

This is the second time we choose this hotel. The first time we lived at the ground floor at a suite, the room was ok but a bit smells. This time we live at the forth floor, much better, more bright, and no more smells. We have a kitchen with all the basic things for cooking: microwave, fridge, cups, pan, dishes, folks, knives, salt, pepper, coffee machine, coffee, dish washer machine, and even popcorn...it makes us feel like home. And the laundry is available for all guests and free, which ... Read more

I visited with my 16 year old for a night outside of downtown Boston. I thought this hotel was clean and it was great that I could wash clothes, cook/reheat food, shopping nearby (I had a car but if you like to walk I'd say 15 min. walk to huge shopping mall). I also know that the train is nearby and knowing that I might forego a car next time and uber over to the train station. The late night staff was more cordial than the morning lady (a little bah-humbug that one...) But other than that ... Read more

I'm looking at the reviews and although I see their points on some items, to me this is a good hotel at a great price. I'm typically a Hilton guy and have been a diamond member (highest level at Hilton) for many years. I actually wanted to stay at a Hilton hotel or something more like the Marriott but they were either booked or $300+ a night. Even the motel-8 was priced over $100. So, as soon as I saw this hotel at a very fair rate I jumped on it. I have been a Holiday inn rewards memb... Read more

The suite was very nice and clean. Our only problem was with the availability of a shower chair. We are both disabled and needed a shower chair because the accessible room was taken. The only shower chair they found had a broken leg so we were left to do the best we could.

Hotel is kinda out in the middle of nowhere. Greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. Room stunk like cigarettes even though it was non-smoking. Toilette made loud screeching noise after every flush and ran for about 5-10 minutes after every flush. No housekeeping each day. It was clean and spacious though. Had fridge, microwave, stove, etc. Big mall with restaurants and bars nearby but that is it. 20 minute drive to Gillette Stadium. 20 minute drive to downtown Boston

I have never stayed at this type of property previously and was highly disappointed w/limited services provided. While guest room was spacious, I'm a larger fan of daily housekeeping, on-property food options, etc. The middle of the night fire drill/evacuation due to burnt popcorn was highly disruptive. I would have much preferred neighboring Hampton Inn which appeared far cleaner upon visiting to use rented conference room and offered daily breakfast in nice lobby area.

Noisy, could hear people upstairs making their coffee, and every other little thing they did. Could hear every person walk the hall above us. Room was clean, but hard to get a good nights sleep, and the problems would be very hard to fix. I would spend a little more money and go elsewhere.

My husband works across the street and stays here whenever it is too late to come home. We stayed here together while attending a function in Boston and it was just as nice as he said it was. We had the bedroom suite that had a kitchen. Jen was very nice and friendly at the front desk. I thought it was nice that they have games, movies, and books for people that are staying for longer periods of time. I would stay here again. It's a great value!
