My wife and I stayed here over the weekend while in town for her business school reunion. Our history with the W goes back some time though - we met for the first time in their lobby bar 6 years ago. Since then, we've visited, stayed, and seen friends in this trendy and well-situated property. Our weekend stay was delightful, with a nice upgrade to a "Fabulous" room featuring a king bed. The shower was good, if a little weaker than I remember. The Bliss products in the bathroom are always a tr... Read more

My wife and I visited Boston for our anniversary. The W staff was amazing and personable from making the reservation to check out. They left us a couple nice cards in our room, along with a couple nice treats for our anniversary. The lounge is also an awesome place to hang out for drinks and good atmosphere. We will definitely be staying here during our next Boston trip!

King suite was nicely appointed as you would expect from the W Brand. Although we did not have a great view the blackout shades worked perfectly. King bed was very comfortable making it hard to get out for checkout. They easily extended us a 1pm checkout and we just enjoyed the bed and ordered room service. Room had multiple docking stations, and chargers available for the both all iPhone and androids. Large LCD flat screen was biggest I have seen in a hotel room. Bathroom was good and shower... This stay was wonderful. The room was beautiful, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and the hotel was in a very convenient location. My stay at the W Boston was perfect. I booked this trip for my boyfriends birthday and he was beyond happy just as I was when we got to our room. The only issue I had was getting my luggage. I did wait awhile when they said it was going to be in our room but that wasn't a big issue. If you're looking to stay somewhere nice and comforting this would be your pla... Read more

Service: The service I received at the hotel was fantastic. We were welcomed by Teresa and she was great. Me and now fiancee were recently engaged and we even received a note from the card on the first evening congratulating us with 2 glasses of champagne - a truly great gesture. The staff were all very helpful and were always available. Room: We actually took a small upgrade for our two night stay and the room we ended up in was very nice. It was clean, spacious and had all of the modern facili... Read more

From the General Manager, Mr. Singh to the Welcome Desk this is a hotel that prides itself on making for a Wonderful and Memorable stay. I haven't stayed here since 2015 and the bell staff still remembered my name! The staff made my friend's 40th birthday a flawless experience. For my fellow lawyers and ABA members, they have very good rates. For those in Boston for fun, this is a great property that understands lifestyle brand. Keep up the great work Mr. Singh and staff!

This is a review for the W Boston Lounge NOT the hotel itself. I stayed down the street at Revere Hotel Boston Common. The lounge at Revere was closed on Sunday evening due to Memorial Day weekend so they recommended me the W Boston Lounge. I did wait for about ten minutes for a chair to free up. While I was getting myself comfortable on the chair the bartender gave me a dirty look and said "we were gonna clear some chairs as its getting busy". There were plenty of other people sitting on chairs... Read more

Stayed there June 4th for our anniversary. Concierge upgraded us to a super King with high ceilings and sent a very special treat to our room as an anniversary gift. The service at the front desk restaurant for our excellent breakfast, and bellmen were all top notch. Room was immaculate with lots of nice electronic and design highlights that make it much more special that a typical hotel. I'm not a huge W hotel fan as the chain's focus on painful hipness too often translates into something less than a warm reception. I've stayed twice over the past year while in Boston on business -- once in a large suite with an amazing bathroom and once in a standard room. The rooms have the usual W feel - sharply modern, sometimes at the expense of good lighting and comfort. The smaller room had an odd ironing-board sized light fixture that put off an unattractive neon glow, but like most Ws... Read more

The W Boston is exactly what you expect with any W - top notch customer service, clean, comfortable rooms in an updated setting. With many "chain" options in the area, the W is close to many restaurants, bars, and activities. well worth checking them out!

Came to Boston to see blue Man group! Was not planning on staying at the W but the hotel I had a room that got double booked and had a horrible experience there. I was very happy with my stay in the rooms were clean and very nice it was a close walk to the theater. And within walking distance to Boston commons, Faneuil Hall, and Copley Plaza. The staff was very friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel will definitely be coming back!

It's OK, but I wouldn't return. It's a room, clean, nothing special. (I.e. I've come to expect a minimum of curved showers rods...not here...) I've stayed at the W in Montreal previously. Lobby is small and cramped. This W is more conservative by comparison, but is still basically a night club come night. Alarm sounded in middle of night and we were instructed to stay in our rooms while they investigated. It's hard not to wonder if this was due to the night club crowd...

Stayed at the W for a business meeting. It was a great location, relatively close to the Commons and a 15 minute ride from Logan. The rooms were fantastic as always. The staff at check in was very kind. The conference rooms for ir meetings were great, had all the accommodations we needed. Look forward to visiting here again

We loved our stay at the W! The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. The staff was extremely prompt and helpful. Every time we went in/out the doors, someone was there to greet us and open the door. The room was extremely spacious and clean. We are a family of five that stayed in a two queen bed room with a chaise lounge. The lounge was perfect for our youngest child to sleep on. The bathroom was awesome! It is the largest bathroom we have ever had in a hotel room. One feature I real... Read more

The staff at the W Boston was very friendly at check-in and throughout our stay. We appreciated the free drink vouchers they gave us when we checked in, as well. Only comment/complaint is that there is a giant opening/window in the bathroom wall, which is covered by a strange tapestry/curtain. I'm not sure why they chose to design the room like that, it was pretty awkward.

I always make it a point to try to stay at the W Hotel when travelling to Boston. From the moment you first step into the hotel, the scent of the lobby just sets the tone and mood. Its very chic and sleep , aesthetically pleasing to all your sense! It is by far the most comfortable sleep you will get.I have stayed in MANY hotels in Boston but this one by far exceeds all expectations. With a fully planned commercial shoot and crew in tow, our Boston location fell through. The W Boston accommodated us with welcoming arms and allowed us to shoot a flawless commercial in one of their suits. Their staff from the front door to the top floor was the epitome of excellence. This hotel brand clearly is trying to create a unique personality. Decor is very modern with little humorous touches everywhere from the off beat wall murals on the floors to labeling the extra roll of toilet paper as "backup plan." Service is very accommodating and our room was well-designed and comfortable. I traveled to Boston weekly and stayed here for about five months. The W is a great hotel with excellent customer service, extremely comfortable rooms, and a good gym for all of you business travelers looking to squeeze in a workout. The decor of this W is so modern that it is at times confusing. This is a great option for a business traveler, but I'd recommend something with more Boston-charm and in a different section of the city for a personal trip.

The staff at the W Boston were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and reasonably sized for our family of 4. The "eye" in the bathroom did give me a bit of a start when we first walked in, but is definitely a conversation starter. The lounge downstairs was a nice place to unwind after a sightseeing day, as long as it's not a Saturday night. The W Boston was in a good location as it was close to Boston Common park and near tour bus stops. The rooms were quite standard in design but still comfortable and clean. Rooms facing Stuart Street were noisy at night and the walls in the hotel were evidently thin, as we could hear noise from hallways, above and other rooms 24/7.
