My wife and I stayed here over the weekend while in town for her business school reunion. Our history with the W goes back some time though - we met for the first time in their lobby bar 6 years ago. Since then, we've visited, stayed, and seen friends in this trendy and well-situated property. Our weekend stay was delightful, with a nice upgrade to a "Fabulous" room featuring a king bed. The shower was good, if a little weaker than I remember. The Bliss products in the bathroom are always a tr... Read more

My wife and I visited Boston for our anniversary. The W staff was amazing and personable from making the reservation to check out. They left us a couple nice cards in our room, along with a couple nice treats for our anniversary. The lounge is also an awesome place to hang out for drinks and good atmosphere. We will definitely be staying here during our next Boston trip!

King suite was nicely appointed as you would expect from the W Brand. Although we did not have a great view the blackout shades worked perfectly. King bed was very comfortable making it hard to get out for checkout. They easily extended us a 1pm checkout and we just enjoyed the bed and ordered room service. Room had multiple docking stations, and chargers available for the both all iPhone and androids. Large LCD flat screen was biggest I have seen in a hotel room. Bathroom was good and shower... This stay was wonderful. The room was beautiful, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and the hotel was in a very convenient location. My stay at the W Boston was perfect. I booked this trip for my boyfriends birthday and he was beyond happy just as I was when we got to our room. The only issue I had was getting my luggage. I did wait awhile when they said it was going to be in our room but that wasn't a big issue. If you're looking to stay somewhere nice and comforting this would be your pla... Read more

From the General Manager, Mr. Singh to the Welcome Desk this is a hotel that prides itself on making for a Wonderful and Memorable stay. I haven't stayed here since 2015 and the bell staff still remembered my name! The staff made my friend's 40th birthday a flawless experience. For my fellow lawyers and ABA members, they have very good rates. For those in Boston for fun, this is a great property that understands lifestyle brand. Keep up the great work Mr. Singh and staff!

This is a review for the W Boston Lounge NOT the hotel itself. I stayed down the street at Revere Hotel Boston Common. The lounge at Revere was closed on Sunday evening due to Memorial Day weekend so they recommended me the W Boston Lounge. I did wait for about ten minutes for a chair to free up. While I was getting myself comfortable on the chair the bartender gave me a dirty look and said "we were gonna clear some chairs as its getting busy". I'm not a huge W hotel fan as the chain's focus on painful hipness too often translates into something less than a warm reception. I've stayed twice over the past year while in Boston on business -- once in a large suite with an amazing bathroom and once in a standard room. The rooms have the usual W feel - sharply modern, sometimes at the expense of good lighting and comfort. The smaller room had an odd ironing-board sized light fixture that put off an unattractive neon glow, but like most Ws... Read more

Came to Boston to see blue Man group! Was not planning on staying at the W but the hotel I had a room that got double booked and had a horrible experience there. I was very happy with my stay in the rooms were clean and very nice it was a close walk to the theater. And within walking distance to Boston commons, Faneuil Hall, and Copley Plaza. It's OK, but I wouldn't return. It's a room, clean, nothing special. (I.e. I've come to expect a minimum of curved showers rods...not here...) I've stayed at the W in Montreal previously. Lobby is small and cramped. This W is more conservative by comparison, but is still basically a night club come night. Alarm sounded in middle of night and we were instructed to stay in our rooms while they investigated. It's hard not to wonder if this was due to the night club crowd...

The staff at the W Boston was very friendly at check-in and throughout our stay. We appreciated the free drink vouchers they gave us when we checked in, as well. I traveled to Boston weekly and stayed here for about five months. The W is a great hotel with excellent customer service, extremely comfortable rooms, and a good gym for all of you business travelers looking to squeeze in a workout. I will start off with the positives of this hotel. They have great AC which is a must in Boston. The location is the perfect spot and the service at the hotel was fantastic. They have a dj that spins Thursday-Saturday nights that brings a diverse but great group of people. Easy to get a drink and nice mashup of music each night. The hotel itself is a trendy hotel. The hallways are dark, and while I am sure that the W is striving to be stylish, it actually looks dated. The front desk was very pleasant and helpful.

On a recent overnite in Boston, a girlz-nite-out to paint the town up, so to speak, we chose to stay @ your hotel for the close proximity to the Wilbur Theater. You see, it was a bittersweet gathering of three life long friends meant to ease the journey of our beloved terminally ill friend, What we didn't expect was the exceptional personalized service which we received at every step. From the exuberant curbside valet, Juan, to the sweet-hearted front desk agent, Paige who keenly recognized the ... Read more

Just spent a couple of business days at The W in Boston. The hotel is good, but the stay was made especially great by the service at the bar provided by Azra Dzino, Suzy, and Yeison. All three went the extra mile to make our trip very enjoyable - thanks .....

Hip, trendy, bright and breezy. Can't fault the W in any way shape or form. Staff were really friendly and our corner room was large and very well appointed. Thought I'd give the SPG Keyless entry a try with my iPhone but it didn't work unfortunately, but luckily we had the foresight to grab a couple of traditional swipe key cards at check in. Would stay again when visiting charming Boston.

The hotel is gorgeous, very good spot in the city, walking distance from Boston Commons and Newbury St which is a street full of nice shops, coffee bars and restaurants. Hotel is clean and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We were very happy staying there.

The W hotel is nicely located in downtown and there are restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly, informed and courteous. All public areas are clean and well appointed, as are the rooms. They even have a yoga class for weary travelers that need to unwind--it was great. The toiletries are upscale (Bliss) and there is a Bliss salon. I think all Starwood hotels (Westin) are great.

White noise machines and Keurig coffee makers as well as ample device charging stations are nice touches. Lobby is hip an has a dj on Friday nights. Decor is elegantly minimalist and beds are heavenly

Well, I wont lie. I had a nice stay at W Boston! But the whole nice experience was soured when I was checking out. I stayed at W Boston from 11/10-11/13/2016 when I was there attending a Scientific Conference. Apart from the regular amount for 3 nights, I saw that I was charged for the W-Lounge usage ($331.47), which I didn't use at all. Front desk helped me out and told me that some other customer might have given the "room number" wrong and that's how I was seeing the charges. The lady at the ... Read more

Excellent location, great service and clean rooms! will stay here again next time for Boston. It is one of my favorite W hotels or even SPG hotels. I usually stay in SPG hotels more than 50 nights a year.

Spent 4 nights in this great hotel with all the amenities one would need: huge, clean rooms with streets views, comfortable queen beds with crisp bedding, spotless bathrooms with ample toiletries, and extras like a coffee maker, a white noise gadget to help you relax, a safe, and complimentary water. Of course, it helps that the staff is friendly and welcoming. That said, it would be important for light sleepers to note that the hotel is located very near the hospital and the ambulance sirens ... I can't say enough about the Operations Manager - Jeff Rose who took it upon himself to find a package of mine that went missing due to UPS delivering it to the wrong hotel. Jeff knew it was my contact lenses and that I was desperate. He kept me updated and had one of his team actually go get them at another hotel. I came home to find them in my room... I can't say enough about how much I appreciated his efforts. As a seasoned traveler at some of the top hotels around the world, this one act of ... Read more
