I have not experienced this excellent level of customer service in a long time. The entire staff of The Westin went out of their way to make us feel welcome & to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Lauren in the Relish restaurant was amazing and the wait staff was so friendly. The front desk & valet staff were equally accommodating. Next time we're in Boston we will stay at The Westin Waltham.

I arrived late because I visited someone who was having surgery. I refused an invitation to grab something to eat because I reviewd the room service menu and was going to order from that as it was a long exhausting day. I called room service and was told that the room service was closed so I went to bed hungry. Now if you know longer offer room service after 11:30pm take the menus out of the room that say it is offered after 1130pm. Sleep escaped me because the air conditioner clanged all... Read more

We were in the area visiting family, overall was very pleased with our choice to stay at The Westin. From checkin to checkout we felt at home. Great customer service through and through! Definitely a place to stay again when in the area. The beds are Heavenly, and the pillows just add the sleeping on a cloud feeling.

I stayed two nights on last Sept to attend my friends' wedding ceremony. It is a little far away from Boston downtown in a nice quiet town. The parking place is very compact but not hard to find a spot. The room looks clean and neat, although not as luxury as other Westin hotels I've been. The front desk is very nice and helpful. However, it was a little noisy over night, so the isolation may not be great enough. Overall, it is a good stay.

I have stayed in this hotel as An SPG gold member for 20 nights and always been good. Recently they change the restaurant to a burger bar I assume to cope with demand but this is not working. 2 nights in a week and could not cope with bar demand and no service in restaurants led to poor food and customer service. There is a great walking distance place down the road go there and avoid the bar until things improve

The rooms are fairly nice - typical heavenly Westin bed! I travel a lot for work and it's nice to know there's consistency between facilities. The gym is a bit small but has plenty of treadmills, ellipticals and bikes. I don't use weights, but they have a nice free-weights section. There's also a small pool next to the gym, but I never saw anyone in there. The only reason this isn't a 5 is the restaurant. It wasn't too crowded the night my colleagues and I went - and we were seated quickly and... Read more

I was surprised at the friendliness and efficiency of the front desk staff. The hotel appears to be a more businessman's hotel, but my wife and I found it very pleasant and accommodating during our stay. We were here for my wife's college reunion and to see relatives, and the location was perfect for this. The room was a very good size and the bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast at the hotel and we were both disappointed with the food and service.

From the front desk to arranging for cars and making reservations, everything was handled professionally and courteously. My room was comfortable and clean. Room service was on time although a bit pricey. I had a very nice experience and would return to this hotel again.

Our stay was for one night and the Westin is always a top notch hotel, As usual the room was clean and the service was good, The hotel was full that night and must have had some kind of children's event going on as the hallways were loud with running kids for quite some time. We also had several issues with our room key not programed correctly which involved two trips to the front desk to correct the problem. Upon our return to the hotel after a show in Cambridge the elevators were not work... Read more

My daughter booked her wedding party at the Westin last weekend. While the rooms and the facility were nice we had a problem with the contract. Buried in the small type on page 3 or 4 was language that if we didn't use all of the rooms, there would a additional charge. We were hit with an additional $600 fee that we weren't expecting. While the Westin did nothing illegal,i believe by not mentioning the paragraph to us, the were not acting with integrity. Had we know about the additional cha... Read more

The hotel is vey nice and convenient to the Western suburbs of Boston. It is located near Brandeis University, as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The service was very good, especially the friendly housekeeping staff. They tend to jack up the prices exorbitantly during peak times at the University. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.

Close to Boston yet away from hustle of traffic and costly parking, very easy entrance and exit , great views, helpful and considerate staff, comfortable rooms with great sleep helps and excellent breakfast you would like to have(I wanted hot chillies and it was not a big deal for the kitchen to accomodate !) Always welcome feeling by the staff made even one or two day stay a pleasant experience.

The rooms are great but, not only are they pricey compared to the hotels across the street but you also have to pay $15 a day for parking. The pool is tiny and, although it says it has a capacity of 20 it was packed with 10, it's not a pool for adults looking to get exercise. The pictures of the pool online are deceiving. The exercise room did look nice. There is a Starbucks in the lobby.

In the area for a sports tournament. The building is beautiful. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The amenities were good. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and roomy. The lobby was spacious and useful with a bar, a Starbucks and a business center. The only negative was that wi-fi did not come with the room but you had to pay extra for it.

In first sight of the Westin, we loved everything we saw and how modern it was. Thankfully this hotel lived up to our expectations and more. Every place in the hotel including our room was very clean and had great smell. The service was great from the front desk to the restaurant personnel. We have a 7month old and the staff at the restaurant was more than welcoming to my child bringing all kinds of things to entertain her. We were more than pleased with our dinner. Booked this hotel for 3 nights because I had to attend a funeral. It was a very stressful visit with family. Hotel was nice, staff very friendly but the air conditioning in the room was very loud. It was like sleeping next to a droning airplane. I called the front desk and they offered to move me. However, since I got back to my room late at night and very tired, I didn't have the energy to pack up my things and move. Slept with no air conditioning the entire trip. Also, housekeeping didn'... I was pleasantly surprise on how nice the Westin in Waltham is; great value if you're looking for a hotel right outside of Boston, only 30 minutes away. The room was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. Great restaurant and bar which has a great view.

Typical Starwood lobby, service was OK but I was surprised by the lack of cleanliness of the grounds and garage area. We paid up for a junior sweet which had zero personality. If your traveling on business on the company dime, this maybe for you but otherwise, there are better places to stay for your money.

Great place to stay during Jr. Chowder Cup ice hockey tournament. Conveniently located right off the highway and near restaurants, including Dunkin Donuts across the street. Lobby bar is excellent with terrific craft beer selections. Didn't eat at the new burger joint Relish but the menu looked good. Beds were heavenly as always. Good fitness center. Just spent a week here for work, having previously stayed at the Hiolday Inn express and the Best Western locally. Both of the previous hotels had small issues however the review reflects largely the elevated cost in comparisson. Check in process was painful after a long flight from U.K where the desk clerk insisted on signing me uo for Stawood Rewards and then proceeded to incorrectly spell name leaving me without WIFI for 24 hrs. From check-in to check-out, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff. The room was very clean and comfortable, and well-appointed with necessities. The restaurant and bar area are convenient if a bit over-priced, and quite noisy for such a large space. It was good to retire to a comfortable and quiet room.

My daughter and I stayed at the Westin Waltham for her birthday. Itā??s a gorgeous hotel with lots of nearby amenities. The staff were awesome. We cannot wait to visit again. We ate at the walking distance Bonefish Restaurant. And we had dessert and drinks at the restaurant inside the hotel. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful (to quote Lawrence Welk).

My stay here was on business and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the bedding and pillows as I usually have a hard time getting comfortable in a hotel. The facilities were beautiful and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops within walking distance. The service was tremendous especially at the hotel bar. Very friendly and experienced bar staff.

Very nice hotel - clean, nice decor, affordable and near Boston. The drive into Boston is reasonable, approximately 25 minutes depending on your destination. This is a very affordable option as Boston hotel prices are astronomical. We spent three nights here and drove into Boston each day. By the way, a great Waltham breakfast spot is Moody's Delicatessen and Provisions. HIGHLY recommend. Wish this place was near home :)

My family and I stayed at the Waltham Westin on our return trip from our annual vacation to Maine. While Waltham is not the usual "road layover" spot for us, I'm quite glad my wife made a reservation for us to stay there, for several reasons. First, it is close and convenient to the interstate, so it was easy to get to without fighting the Boston traffic and equally easy to get out of the next morning to continue the drive south. Second, they accepted our pets with no additional fee, which is... Read more

Stayed here twice recently - had a basic SPG room - overall the room was nice with a king sized bed, nice bathroom, sofa, desk, TV. Stayed one night at this Westin. The only other Westin we stayed at this year was the brand new Westin at the Denver airport - so it was definitely not the same awesome experience. The registration desk here was very quick and friendly. The room was nice. You could tell it was renovated but the bathroom floor was tired looking. The a/c was very loud and woke us up repeatedly. We came to the Westin as part of a wedding party. We were gracefully received, checked-in, welcomed. The hotel is chic, very "glassy!" Our room was a good B+, standard king, with sofa. Everything worked well -- including the thermostat. Our only disappointment was with the restaurant breakfast. About a step up from most, at least it had real silver and an omelet station. Staff attention was minimal; I had to ask for things like tea bags, orange juice. The food was fine, ok, nothing terrific. It'... Read more
