I have not experienced this excellent level of customer service in a long time. The entire staff of The Westin went out of their way to make us feel welcome & to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Lauren in the Relish restaurant was amazing and the wait staff was so friendly. The front desk & valet staff were equally accommodating. Next time we're in Boston we will stay at The Westin Waltham.

I arrived late because I visited someone who was having surgery. I refused an invitation to grab something to eat because I reviewd the room service menu and was going to order from that as it was a long exhausting day. I called room service and was told that the room service was closed so I went to bed hungry. Now if you know longer offer room service after 11:30pm take the menus out of the room that say it is offered after 1130pm. Sleep escaped me because the air conditioner clanged all... Read more

We were in the area visiting family, overall was very pleased with our choice to stay at The Westin. From checkin to checkout we felt at home. Great customer service through and through! Definitely a place to stay again when in the area. The beds are Heavenly, and the pillows just add the sleeping on a cloud feeling.

I stayed two nights on last Sept to attend my friends' wedding ceremony. It is a little far away from Boston downtown in a nice quiet town. The parking place is very compact but not hard to find a spot. The room looks clean and neat, although not as luxury as other Westin hotels I've been. The front desk is very nice and helpful. However, it was a little noisy over night, so the isolation may not be great enough. Overall, it is a good stay.

I have stayed in this hotel as An SPG gold member for 20 nights and always been good. Recently they change the restaurant to a burger bar I assume to cope with demand but this is not working. 2 nights in a week and could not cope with bar demand and no service in restaurants led to poor food and customer service. There is a great walking distance place down the road go there and avoid the bar until things improve

The rooms are fairly nice - typical heavenly Westin bed! I travel a lot for work and it's nice to know there's consistency between facilities. The gym is a bit small but has plenty of treadmills, ellipticals and bikes. I don't use weights, but they have a nice free-weights section. There's also a small pool next to the gym, but I never saw anyone in there. The only reason this isn't a 5 is the restaurant. It wasn't too crowded the night my colleagues and I went - and we were seated quickly and... Read more

I was surprised at the friendliness and efficiency of the front desk staff. The hotel appears to be a more businessman's hotel, but my wife and I found it very pleasant and accommodating during our stay. We were here for my wife's college reunion and to see relatives, and the location was perfect for this. The room was a very good size and the bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast at the hotel and we were both disappointed with the food and service.

Our stay was for one night and the Westin is always a top notch hotel, As usual the room was clean and the service was good, The hotel was full that night and must have had some kind of children's event going on as the hallways were loud with running kids for quite some time. We also had several issues with our room key not programed correctly which involved two trips to the front desk to correct the problem. My daughter booked her wedding party at the Westin last weekend. While the rooms and the facility were nice we had a problem with the contract. Buried in the small type on page 3 or 4 was language that if we didn't use all of the rooms, there would a additional charge. We were hit with an additional $600 fee that we weren't expecting. While the Westin did nothing illegal,i believe by not mentioning the paragraph to us, the were not acting with integrity. Had we know about the additional cha... Read more

The hotel is vey nice and convenient to the Western suburbs of Boston. It is located near Brandeis University, as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The service was very good, especially the friendly housekeeping staff. They tend to jack up the prices exorbitantly during peak times at the University. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.

The rooms are great but, not only are they pricey compared to the hotels across the street but you also have to pay $15 a day for parking. The pool is tiny and, although it says it has a capacity of 20 it was packed with 10, it's not a pool for adults looking to get exercise. The pictures of the pool online are deceiving. The exercise room did look nice. There is a Starbucks in the lobby.

Very nice hotel - clean, nice decor, affordable and near Boston. The drive into Boston is reasonable, approximately 25 minutes depending on your destination. This is a very affordable option as Boston hotel prices are astronomical. We spent three nights here and drove into Boston each day. Staying for three weeks on a business trip, I enjoyed my experience at the Westin Waltham hotel, with nice clean rooms and friendly staff. It was strange that the only restaurant was a "burger bar", and I found a nice alternative just across the road. The hotel is a little isolated, especially when travelling without a car, with no shops close by.

We had surgery scheduled in the area which required an overnight stay. The Westin was convenient to everything, attractively priced, well staffed, quiet, well decorated, and thoroughly enjoyable. This is a property that is ideal for relatively short stays and the staff are excellent.

I have been at this property many times over the years but not in the past year. Up until this visit is has been fine...nothing spectacular and not up to par with other Westin properties, but fine because of its location. Unfortunately this visit was the worst ever. I visited here for one week. It seemed like every staff member I met was sincerely friendly and interested in making my stay as pleasant as any I've had. Extra 5 out of 5 stars to the restaurant employees - Ali, Abdul, Tiago, Lauren and Ed at the bar. Each of them went out of their way to say hi to me by name every time they saw me. If something wasn't quite right they fixed it. No place is perfect but this place and the warm, personable people they have working there made my stay as comfortable... Read more

I have never had a bad experience at Westin hotels. They are always great. I would definitely be staying there again. There rooms are clean, there beds are super comfortable and their staff is friendly.

$15 per night for self parking and the garage elevator doesn't even work. Had to carry all my bags down from the 3rd floor. For such a large and grand looking hotel, the amenities are sorely lacking. No club lounge for Platinum members, TV in room not working. Not even a complimentary bottle of water. Moving down the road to the Marriott tomorrow.

We stayed here for business, and was quite surprised by how open and spacious the lobby, and lobby bar was. Very good for hosting people after a long day of work. Lots of glass windows to give you the feel of being outside, while not dealing with the elements outdoors. It would be nice to see trees rather than freeways, but its better than seeing solid walls. Room I stayed in on the 2nd floor was a little noisy, and wasn't quite sure where the noise was coming from. Will definitely be staying... Read more
