Spent five nights at the Westin Boston Waterfront. Very nice property. Stayed in an upgraded room on the 15th floor. Beautiful views of the bay and islands. The restaurants inside the hotel are pretty limited. Mostly pub fare, no fine dining. But numerous restaurants are a short walk to the waterfront or a cab ride to the North End. Walked the city in one day, taking a water taxi back from the wharf near Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall.

Experience for the family was amazing!!! The front desk staff and bell staff were fantastic with my kids! They welcomed them personally and gave them a kids "survival" kit with books and an activity book. Platinum recognition was only okay. Had to ask for a suite. Nice rooms, nice pool. Not over the top, but nice and clean. Ate dinner in the Irish Pub... Was just okay.

My husband and I were visiting Boston for our 37th Anniversary . Was happy from the time we walked in. Laura at the front desk was very personable. She made you feel very welcome. I mentioned it was our anniversary and she upgraded us to the 16th floor with a beautiful view of Boston at night. The beds were great. We ate a light snack and beverage in the Irish Pub. The food and service was fine. The silver line is just across the street and very convenient to get to and from airport and... Read more

This is certainly a big and bold hotel in the Starwood group. You could fit a house in the lobby area. Nicely accented with a 'green' emphasis and a handy Starbucks to boot, there's also 2 other restaurants, bar and shop. Positive experience overall - check in easy, room is, well, a hotel room and nothing makes it particularly unique. The massive let-down with a hotel of this caliber is wi-fi. Yes, unless you're a Kryptonite Starwood member, in-room wi-fi is extra. Wi-fi should be provided like... Read more

Held an offsite corporate meeting at this hotel for 80ppl. Enjoyed my time here very much. Loved the beautiful open lobby, sometimes a bit loud, but probably due to all of the natural hard surfaces and high ceilings. The sleeping rooms are modern and very spacious. Large floor to ceiling windows keep the room very bright. Large desk and work space with reliable internet. Comfortable beds and linens. Bathroom is lacking in products. No shower gel or a shower cap. Meeting was good also. Meeting s... Read more

I stayed at the Westin for a conference last week. The conference was well organized and the food was pretty good with a lot of variety. The ballrooms were freezing though! I found it was very distracting as all day I was shivering and trying to warm my hands. Obviously the next two days I came better prepared with a sweater but I still found my hands were purple at the end of the day. The room was adequate, nothing special. The shower had great pressure and the bed was comfortable. I had ... Read more

I stayed in June and it was during a massive convention right next door. Even though the hotel was clearly almost at capacity, I was still provided with top-notch service. Matthew T, an experience specialist, gave me stellar recommendations for eateries nearby and ensured that I had a great time here. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, and there was never an issue during our entire stay. I will definitely be coming here again when I visit Boston!

The overall stay was very good. The staff was friendly and professional though the room didn't get serviced one day for no particular reason. On site parking garage ($36 pr nt) if you happened to have need of a car. Nice amenities. It's close to public transportation and geared for corporate America.

The Westin Boston Waterfront is in a great location and within walking distance to the trendy waterfront restaurants and downtown area. It is a short drive to the airport, as well. The rooms are good size. I had a gorgeous view of downtown Boston from my12th floor room. There are plenty of great places to hang out onsite including an Irish Pub, City Bar and Comedy Club. I was attending a conference in the hotel. I would stay in this hotel again when in Boston.

Have stayed here several times over the past year to attend conventions. The hotel is close to the convention center and connects via a bridge --- a very short walk. The hotel has no soul. It is a sterile business hotel. The rooms are OK, nothing special. The front desk is typically understaffed with long lines of people waiting. I stay here often when I'm working in Boston (if the price is right) I have a favorite room that the hotel has consistently reserved for me. The staff has been very helpful when needed. My wife occasionally travels with me and likes the hotel itself but would rather be downtown where she doesn't need cabs. (she had a bad Uber experience leaving from this hotel) The wheelchair accessibility is very good and there is usually good HP parking on the street. I will stay here again for sure.

It's a Westin...I picked a lower floor as I was at a conference, but large elevator bank so I could have gone higher. Saw a review here that no lounge, no nearby restaurants...I don't know where they were...restaurants aplenty in a 7-10 minute walk, a longe, amenities everywhere...There were a few nuisance issues in my room...they fixed them on my schedule and the day I requested...I would not pick the bonus points to forego housekeeping again...I don't need it everyday, but 5 days was too long.... The building is in great shape and I had one of the best hotel mattresses I can remember. The staff really bust their butts to get things done efficiently. The hotel is attached to the convention center. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the waterfront area in order to find upscale bars and food. Some more...colorful...places in Southie are within reach as well. There also always seem to be taxis parked and waiting in front of the hotel.

What you would expect from a Hyatt. Nice room, comfy bed, quiet. (We were on the 15th floor) Get a harbor side room if you can.. Beautiful views. Skip room service! Had an awful breakfast - 2 over cooked eggs, cold English muffin, sliced tomatoes & a tiny pot of coffee = $36! We complained & the hotel graciously dropped the charge. Best part - the location. Located very close to the harbor with lots of good restaurants nearby & lots to see & do within walking distance.

The Westin Seaport is only three miles from Logan Airport, conveniently located adjacent to the Boston Convention Center and subway, half a mile to the Children's Museum and Contemporary Art Museum, a ten minute cab ride to Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall and the Aquarium, and right on the Hop-On-Hop- Off Trolley route which can take you to various points of interest and historic locations throughout Boston. Just had a large national meeting there. As the planner and director for the meeting I have to say this staff IS the epitome of the Westin brand. From the moment we arrived at the front door, through a three day large association meeting, right up to check out we were treated with respect and a can-do attitude. Not talking about a can-do attitude that is in voice only but one that followed through to the end. The meeting staff were second to none and I have highest praise for Felicia and her... Read more

The hotel is very nice and was attached to the conference center where our meeting was. I only ate in the pub once which was good, but the other restaurant and bars were typically packed. The location was good for walking to other restaurants or meetings we had in nearby hotels.

We got a corner room with views of the airport, the harbor and the downtown that made this stay unique and fun. The hotel is across from the Convention Center and somewhat out of the traditional downtown but was easily accessible to the waterfront, downtown and the freeways. Our room was spacious and the staff at check-in was very considerate. I left my phone charger and security found it and had it ready for my by the time I got back. This is not ideal for those that want to walk to everything ... Read more

All the staff were friendly and knowledgable-ALL staff including wait and maintenance. Room was CLEAN and COMFORTABLE--super fast WiFi. If you need a microwave please ask-does not come with the room. Upper floors have outstanding views. Walking distance to everything-seems far from downtown but a wonderful stroll with many places to stop and eat and drink along the way.

The Westin has some great amenities and all staff was very helpful. The restaurants were much better than your usual hotel establishments and my daughter loved the pool. My only drawbacks were our view was 90 degrees of air conditioner ducts and vents and our key cards never worked. I will be staying here again because of the amenities and location to the children's museums.

Adjacent to Convention Center. Very nice accommodations. Located near Waterford with close by access to mass transit. Within walking distance of historic Boston. Excellent customer service. Nice meeting rooms for conference. Several nice bars and restaurants on site since very few options within the general vicinity. Spacious rooms. Very clean. Shower featured "rainfall" head. Free wi-fi. Conference rate after taxes, etc is about $227 a night.

Everything from the location, to the service to the room itself was above par. The hotel is in great shape supporting the waterfront area. Staff was always dressed professionally, had large smiles at all times and if they did not have the answer, they found out the answer. Great time had.

My husband and I visited for our wedding anniversary in October 2016. Everything was amazing. Clean and modern. Several great bars and restaurants on site, as well as a convenience store, Starbucks, and comedy club. The week before our arrival, I got an email from Matt Tomkewicz, a Westin Experience Specialist, asking if he could help with any reservations or recommendations. I told him a little bit about what we were looking to do, and he gave several great recommendations and was very hel... Read more

Boston is great. The hotel compliments the city. We drove in to the city and easily found the hotel. We were greeted outside in a friendly manner and given suggestions as to parking options. The front desk staff were just as friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had an enjoyable stay and will certainly return next time we find ourselves in Boston. Cheers!

All okay for a business overnight. Comfortable bed with nice sheets, etc. Quick room service after a late evening arrival...always appreciated. Would rate this somewhere between "average" and "very good" if the above star rating allowed. Staff was very nice as well.

Nice hotel, very convenient to the new convention center (connected with an enclosed, elevated walkway) and Seaport area restaurants. Standard hotel room - nothing too special. The bathroom did have a rain shower and a handheld shower. They also have New Balance running/exercise gear available for rental for just $5. My husband forgot running shorts, and this program really came in handy. Our only problem was that the weekend housekeeping staff took an incredibly long time (about 3 hours) m... Read more

Great experience. It started at check-in w/ an efficient and knowledgeable agent. We had a great room w/ a great view of the harbor. The hotel is very well located next to the Silver line. You can take the silver line to and from Logan w/o having to traverse a T-station at Logan. The gym is very well equipped. Overall room and everything was what one expects w/ Westin. Very nice play to stay.

As I was trying to check in, the female hotel employee requested for me to step away from the counter as she couldnt find my reservation, so she chose to help someone behind me instead. Naturally, I stepped away and contacted Platinum Concierge and the cancellation was promptly taken care of. Way to treat your Platinum members!

I was first struck by how the advertised floor to ceiling windows didn't actually go from floor to ceiling. On the ceiling part, it wasn't even that close. The view of the flat roof building next door wasn't that exciting anyway. Worse.was how the bed wasn't particularly comfortable. The mattress pads were too small for the bed, so they tended to bunch up beneath my feet. The HVAC was also fairly noisy. All of this for more than $300. The location is decent, although it takes about 30 minutes of... Read more

I often stay at this hotel as it's near my Boston office and not too far from South Station and the Financial District (and very convenient to Logan). Putting things bluntly, this is about as close to what I imagine Westin designs for as you can get. It smells like a Westin, the colors are Westin, the room and bath could be any modern Westin in the world. I sometimes have to jog my memory just to figure out where I am when I wake up out of a deep sleep. Overall, perfectly solid experience, nev... Read more

There is a comedy club inside too, but make reservations early for this. They have another breakfast restaurant and Starbucks, but didn't go. Check in on a Saturday is chaos, so go early!!!

When I arrived at the airport in Boston, I picked up my checked bag only to find that one side of my handle had broken. I got my bag and took a Taxi to the hotel. Once I checked in at the Westin, I asked who could help me fix my bag. The lady at the front desk said I could call engineering and they would help. I called and Jeff Q came to my room. I don't really know where to start about my ordeal at The Westin TBH. I moved to here midway through my Boston stay as I was attending a conference and after spending 4 days at Loews Hotel. The survey the Westin sent me didn't address any of the comments I wanted to make. I really liked staying so near the conference, not needing to leave the building. That was very convenient. I was surprised that a lightbulb wasn't changed during our stay, that the number of towels did not match up with the number of people in our room, and that there wasn't enough coffee or enough paper cups to account for the number of people in our party each morning. Those were small matters, but they were an... Read more
