If your in town for a Red Sox game, you can't get any more convenient than The Verb Hotel. Park your car and walk everywhere, plenty of places to eat, drink and hang out. Once you walk in, you will feel like you traveled back in time to the 1970's with shag rugs and colored plate glass windows. Our room had a view of the pool area as well as a working typewriter and record player (records available in the lobby for use). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Valet parking on-site was a definite plus. Polite, helpful, friendly, staff. Room with up to date bathroom and funky furnishings and a firm comfortable bed. The hallways are painted black and did take a little getting used to. Well worth the price!

The hotel is located right next to Fenway park. The hotel has been nicely remodeled and all of the staff were very nice and friendly. Small but quaint spot. It was a rainy night and it was not packed like I am sure it is on a nice weather day. Our room was away from the pool with a birds eye view of the players as they boarded the bus for their next away series. It was to have everything walking distance around us. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here last saturday. We were going to Fenway for the game for my birthday and when we were in Boston last time saw this hotel. So we decided to give it a try. What a cool place!! It is a low rise which is rare in Boston and we loved it. Plus it is one road over from Fenway!! Cant beat the location. We had a king fenway view with balcony. The room was very clean and loved the decor. All the retro music themes were great. We had a drink in the bar and ate breakfast there, HIghly recommend... Read more

What a cool hip Motel right around the corner from Fenway. I brought my Nephew for his high school graduation present and it was a perfect location. We hit up two games and didn't have to deal with traffic or crowds getting there. The staff were great and always very friendly. A shout out to Nikki and Molly who always had smiles on their faces. I was super excited to stay at this iconic hotel and while the decor and props are pretty cool, the staff was a little too cool. Didn't seem to matter what I asked, the default was no. No, you can't check out even 45 minutes late, no, we don't have a corkscrew. Oh - you don't know that is Massachusetts you can't drink in your room since we serve alcohol on the premise? Went to Boston to see a baseball game. The Verb was right across the street from Fenway. Very friendly and helpful staff and also an excellent Japanese style restaurant/bar. The only con was that it was a little pricey but then again most hotels in Boston are pricey. The perfect hotel for a game at Fenway! Definitely will stay there again!

Hotel is nice like most of the reviews say and the lower rate and location drew us in, but then they get ya on parking! They charged us $45 to park car overnight...just FYI. Otherwise, vibe is nice and retro. If your into music you'll really appreciate all the "musical" touches.

On a trip to look at schools with my son. Picked this hotel because it looked interesting and I was right. My son completely approved. The lobby had very friendly desk folks and an amp with two guitars he could start plucking. For me the mother it was nostalgic an older motel that had trendy highlights of my childhood. For my son it was retro and cool. We have stayed at a Hard Rock Hotel and this was just as fun for us. The neighborhood is great to walk around. We loved being so close to Fenwa... Read more

This hotel is AWESOME. Great vibes only kind of place. Everyone at the front desk was super friendly and I love how they all wear their own clothes. Super chill hotel and really cool if you're an avid music lover. This is also a great hotel to stay at if you're going to Fenway Park. It's literally a 3 minute walk. It's close to a lot of nice restaurants and bars as well! Stay here if you've got some money to spend because it's definitely worth it.

Rooms were spacious and well finished, very comfortable beds. Everyone loved it and this will definitely be my hotel of choice next time in Berlin. Great vibe and theme for music fans. We enjoyed the decor and loved spinning vinyl on the turntable in our room! The room was very clean and comfortable. You'll love the rock inspiration decoration. The food and drinks of the rest are great. It's just next to Fenway Park. Perfect for a Red Sox play. Good location for the Haynes Convention Center and the Prudential Tower

It's not the type of hotel I usually choose but was very close to Harvard Medical school where my daughter was attending a program. Converted motel with a too - cute rock theme. The promised earplugs were not in our room but luckily it did quiet down. Bathroom sliding door awkward and loud. Comfy beds. Very expensive parking which I hadn't noticed.

Great young fun vibe, top notch pillows, sheets, bathroom. Free newspapers, drinks, candy. The staff on the restaurant are a mixed bag - some are friendly others are a bit novice and got our order wrong or unfriendly.

We will definitely stay at the Verb when we return to Boston! The staff was friendly and helpful. Location is excellent for the baseball fans we are and walking distance for eateries, shopping, and subway.

We stayed at the Verb due to its location to Fenway. We were in town to see James Taylor. From the second we arrived everyone was friendly and helpful. The parking lot attendant explained where our car would be in case we needed to get anything out of it, and showed us a shortcut to Fenway. Our room was not ready when we arrived and although we waited no more than 10 minutes, they gave both of us concert series t shirts for our " patience". Truthfully we enjoyed sitting in the lobby looking ... Read more

You are immersed in tasteful character features, nostalgic without any seediness. Whole place in excellent condition and very quiet. Gotta love it. You can even get vinyl LPs in the lobby to play in the nostalgic old phono in the room. Nice size pool and nicely private pool patio. Wished they didn't close it off at 10P, but there is seating available in the garden-like area in front of the building. Nice they had a small fitness room, but the tiny ice machine seemed a long walk from our room. Th... Read more

My two children and I stayed at this hotel while visiting Berklee. The atmosphere was great, rooms were large and comfy. The desk staff were amazing. The knew the area well and were very helpful with directions and great places to eat. It was a 10 minute walk to the college, Prudential Center, Museum of Fine Art and local restaurants. Fenway Park was our view from our window.

The verb was exactly what my family was looking for. Very Unique, clean, friendly staff, can not beat the location. Fenway Park is in the backyard. Walking distance to everything. Nice outside pool, great bar/restaurant inside. Beds were very comfortable. My son loved the old school record player in the room and the ton of vinyls you can borrow from the front lounge. Great trip. Great hotel.

We stayed for one night and had a fantastic time! We wish we could have stayed longer.. Staff was friendly and accommodating, drinks by the pool were relaxing and location is central to everything! The only downfall was that the fridge in the room didn't work, however it was not a necessity for our trip. We also got lucky enough to arrive the day before Pearl Jam was playing at Fenway so our soundtrack for the night was listening to Pearl Jam sound check! It was amazing! We will definitely be st... I would rate the Verb 3.5 stars. It's a former hojos that has been remodeled. Black out blinds, some cool decor and free wifi are good. The beds are comfortable and the lobby is cool too. It's right next to Fenway park so if your going to a Red Socks game it's a great place to stay.

From start to finish the staff at the verb knows how to make guests happy! Friendly, pleasant employees everywhere. Rooms were clean (& adorable) comfortable and pretty spacious. The keurig in room and fridge were nice touches. But little thoughts, like an extra floor fan just make guests feel well taken care of. Pool was very nice, clean w lots of seating. You MUST: read all the musical references all over the place, and play some tunes on your record player from the record collection in t... Read more

I stayed at the Verb Hotel for one night and was extremely satisfied with my stay. The guest attendant, Molly, was extremely friendly, upbeat, and helpful. The water, coffee, and wifi is FREE and the room is conveniently located to Fenway stadium. If you're from out of town, the parking may seem expensive, but it is affordable in comparison to other parking lots in the area. Steps away is a gas station, Target, CVS, and plenty of food options. There is a continental breakfast included in your st... Read more

This is a funky hotel with great staff, great location and perfectly fine rooms. I can't imagine a better spot to stay if you want to see your favorite band from Seattle who is playing at Fenway. It was a very fun vibration in the lobby and the adjoining restaurant. The rooms and the beds are both very comfy. Don't think twice if you are wondering if you should book here. Go for it. And always remember, when you travel: ‚??Let us go singing as far as we go: the road will be less tedious.‚?... Read more

I was fortunate enough to get great tickets to see my favorite band pearl jam at Fenway. I didn't want to hassle with traffic and fortunately found the verb last minute. The atmosphere was awesome , the Rock and roll motif totally fit in with our weekend plans . The staff was super friendly and accommodated any and all requests . The beauty is that you are literally a 2 min from Fenway . Great to not have to deal with traffic and for pearl jam made our ability to merchandise shop early so conven... Read more

I don't have a bad thing to say about this hotel. Everything was awesome, they even have a stack of records to listen to in the lobby you can bring to your room. The room is a great mix of retro and modern, but the bathroom is 100% modern, great experience. Would live there if I could.

We stayed at The Verb on its opening night and again this past weekend. Once again, it did not disappoint. We chose a ballpark view room (we were going to the Red Sox game). We really appreciated the room décor. There is a radio that looks like it dates from the sixties, a working record player and typewriter. Albums are available at the front desk. We enjoyed a double Led Zeppelin. The hotel provided two bottles of water and there is a small Keurig type coffee pot with coffees, tea and ... Read more

I traveled to Boston with intentions to stay at another hotel. After being at the other hotel for about 8 hours, I was completely dissatisfied, disgusted, and decided to leave. I searched online and saw The Verb had some great reviews. It was late in the night, but I called The Verb and spoke with Eli. I explained that I was having an awful experience and looking for another place to stay for two nights. Eli was friendly, informative, and extremely helpful regarding their availability and prices... My family of 4 stayed at the Verb to do some sightseeing in Boston. We loved the atmosphere and the location of the hotel. My 9 and 11 year old daughters thought it was "the coolest hotel we've ever stayed at." They enjoyed the pool after a long day of sightseeing and also loved the typewriter, robes and record player in the room. The Keurig in-room was also nice for a quick coffee or hot cocoa.
