This hotel is quite well situated on the harbor with incredible views of everything from the Boston Skyline, harbor and Logan airport. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and modernized. The staff is friendly, professional and quite accommodating. My only complaint is that everything is quite expensive. While I realize you pay for location, the bar and restaurant pricing was excessive, and after paying well over $200 a night for a room and $40 a day for parking, the idea of having to pay $3 f... Great spot for a couple of nights exploring Boston. Reasonable price given that's it's next to the airport but the parking was extortionate-even for Boston! Don't worry about the views over the airport, as a previous reviewer said, when do you sit and gaze out of the window of your hotel room? The view from the bar/restaurant and patio area is awesome, loved the fire pits and ambience. Politest hotel staff I've ever experienced

Turn in your car , book a room looking out on the harbor an hop a water taxi to town. From their stops you can walk to most sights and it is a true joy to be car-less in this town. But for this you put up with a hotel in need of some TLC--a touch of mold in shower, thin over laundered sheets, a restaurant that is only OK tho outdoor area is very nice . Excellent airport access natch.

The Hyatt Boston Harbor has a great view of the city. However, the price you pay for that view is being away from everything except the airport. Getting into the city is relatively easy though. Take the blue free 66 bus to the Airport T station, but be warned it stops at all airport terminals first. The hotel courtesy mini bus also stops at the T station, but they don't tell you took two days to work that out for ourselves! There is a water taxi service that stops outside the note, ... Read more

We have always stayed in downtown Boston, but on this trip we decided to try this hotel as it suited our travel plans better. I was a little concerned that it wasn't in the centre of town but was delighted with our stay and would return when we go back next. The free airport shuttle worked very well indeed. We were very spoiled by a special upgrade so I am possibly biased. However the water taxi (once we understood the system) was just great. A lovely harbour tour on each trip. The views across ... The location is fantastic, great view of Boston. Boston access by MBTA or Water Taxi. But it's expensive and has no business rating itself as a 4 star hotel. The kitchen is pathetically slow. Great location with a view. Water taxi is very handy, airport shuttle is prompt, friendly staff, and a restaurant with bar. It's an older building but well kept - retro. We turned our car in at the Rental Center, called the hotel about their shuttle. The shuttle was there in 5 minutes. Checkin was easy with helpful, friendly staff. The airport is minutes away. Get your Water Taxi tickets at the concierge for easy access to Boston. The rooms are spacious. Checkout was uneventful. Would stay again... Read more

There are a few aspects of this hotel that need renewal: 1) the airport shuttle is old and rundown, as your first point of entry to the hotel it doesn't give a great first impression 2) reception area really needs renovation 3) gymn are is too small and not enough cardio equipment. Good points: 1) great staff and very helpful 2) most rooms have been renovated over the past 2 years (I believe) 3) the view of Boston Skyline and harbor. So when points 1-3 are solved it will be an excellent rating

The front desk people were always nice and helpful. Room was clean, spacious, awesome view. Never heard the airplanes land or take off next door. Restaurant onsite was ok. Nothing outstanding. Funny thing is the poor staff had to run upstairs to the kitchen to get the food then run back down to the restaurant. Very strange setup. We had a meeting there. The conference staff was very nice and helpful. The kitchen gets a little loud doing dishes which is in back of our meeting room. Our meeting r... Read more

Very convenient location for the airport and just a short water taxi ride to downtown Boston. Incredible view of Boston Harbor & the city. Great restaurant and bar on site. Very friendly and accommodating hotel staff. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back again myself.

We had only one night there before heading to Martha's Vineyard. The view was great, that is why we chose it. For a quick dinner we had a flatbread of crab and chorizo that was disappointing. It appears much of the hotel was updated, but not the bathrooms!

If we have an early flight or arrive at our destination late at night, my husband and I usually stay at a hotel that is close to the airport with shuttle service. Since we were taking a day flight to London and had to get up early, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor the night before we left. We are Hyatt Gold Passport members, and maybe, because of that, we got a lovely renovated King room. We decided we'd settle for a view of the airport and enjoy the beautiful view of the harbor o... Arrived at this hotel for a two night stay. Check in was quick and easy. Passed the restaurant on the way to the elevator. Glass wall overlooking the harbor. Our room was up on the 7th floor. No view there, just a look at the parking lot and the airport. The room had two double beds. Nowadays, to be honest, I expect queen size beds, but they served the purpose. Great window shades, easy to open and close and kept room dark. Not very generous with bathroom amenities, in fact a little on the cheap... Read more

First, get a harbour view! It's at least another $30 a night but it is probably worth it, we didn't and our view was of the airport. We stayed here because staying in town was around $50 more a night in a similar standard hotel. The truth is, we should have done that, because we spent at least $50 a day on cabs going in and out of the harbour. So, if you are exploring the city, stay in the city. The hotel had very good staff, an incredible view, nice rooms and a lovely outside area with fir... Read more

This hotel is very well placed for Boston Logan airport, otherwise it is a way out from the city centre. If you don't have a car it's either subway or water taxi (you can get complementary one way tickets at certain times of the day from reception). Water taxi is fun in good wether. The hotel has a stunning view across the harbour. It is clean and spacious and the staff were very efficient. The hotel calls itself one of Boston's luxury hotels. I don't agree. It is a very high standard motel. A... Read more

The Harborside Hyatt is a better option for a Boston stay because one gets to see the Boston skyline while only 5 minutes away by boat. The dock for the water taxi is seemingly on the property of the Hyatt and it makes the trip to dowtown a fun inexpensive harbour cruise. The taxi will drop you off at any number of stops and will pick you up again with just a phone call at any other stop. A great location with a full view of both the inner and outer harbours. Also being in the airport is a free ... Read more

We really enjoyed the beautiful view of the harbor and being outside of the city! We spent every day visiting Boston and we found the shuttle service to the subway to be very convenient. For such an expensive hotel, near the airport, hosting travelers from all over the world, I was underwhelmed by the conditions of the guest rooms. In particular, the bathroom. The shelving above the toilet looked a bit "thrown together," no great millwork. Also, there was no hand towel rack in there, I found that strange - or at least a hook? Also, there was no vent fan for the bathroom, and after only a minute of running the shower the whole bathroom was like walking through a cloud. There were... Read more

We stayed here overnight on our last night in Boston as we had a very early flight. The view of the Boston harbor was amazing from our room with a very large window. The room itself was clean, beds were comfortable. My only issue is that the bathroom was fairly small with limited counter space. The drainage for the tub was also pretty slow. Otherwise, the service was great, and the airport shuttle was very efficient and helpful.

You won't even realize you are near the airport. The Hyatt on the harbor is unique. Efficient shuttle, helpful staff and amazing view of Boston. Sit in the chairs along the harbor and relax. Water taxi inexpensive way to get to the city. Hop on Hop Off tours even pick you up and return you to the hotel twice a day. Only one place to eat which is okay, but limited menu, so eat first or bring your own. Stayed there to visit Boston and drive out to the Cape.

Just recently stayed at the Hyatt airport Logan/Boston location. The rooms and entire facility seems to be brand-new and in excellent condition. It's probably the largest flatscreen television I've ever saying at the hotel! There is absolutely no jet noise but beautiful views of Boston Harbor and so convenient if you have an early flight out of Logan. It's truly amazing for a few dollars more how much nicer accommodations you can have.

I stayed for one night at the Hyatt. The location right next to the airport is very convenient. Moreover, if you get a room on the side facing Boston, you get stunning views of that waterfront and the sunsets in the west. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are water ferries that you can take from just outside the hotel over to Rowes wharf and other Boston destinations. This hotel was very much a pleasant surprise.

The outdoor area was nice with a great view over Boston skyline . Practical water taxi taking you quickly and nicely to downtown.

Return the rental car early (less than half mile from the hotel). Call for the Hyatt shuttle and head to the hotel. Relax in the harborside lounge and have dinner. Grab a great night sleep in a comfortable bed and clean room in peace and quiet. (You would never know you are downtown much less next to the airport.) Then take the shuttle to the airport the next morning. It runs every 10 to 15 minutes. Makes traveling from Logan a lot easier, particularly on an realty flight!

I have reviewed this hotel before. Generally fine, although prices have gone up. What is most disappointing however is the fee for parking. Checked in at 10:00pm, checked out at 7:30am, they charged $ 42 for self parking! This is egregious and totally unjustified. Total rip off. Hyatt are becoming notorious in my opinion for outrageous valet parking and self parking charges. Don't come with a car.

Second visit at this location. Was not explained at the time of reservation or at check in that there would be an added charge of $42 for parking our car in their outside lot (assumed lot fees on sign were meant for people parking for events or using the MBTA stop on site). Also, Smart TVs: not so smart. Lost signal in the middle of watching a movie for nearly an hour and lost other channels all together due to lost signal.
