I stayed here 1st week in November. It was unseasonably warm. I was on the top floor (heat rises) and it was sweltering in my room. The AC wouldn't work even after mentioning it to staff. There was a box fan but the window was on the roof so I couldn't get air to circulate. I was across the hall from the laundry room (noisy). There was a kitchenette and coffee maker. The bed was sooo uncomfortable; it was just a cheap mattress you could feel the springs and it sagged. The walls were brick concre... Read more

Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and professional. Their location is fantastic and is right off the navy yard with easy access to the USS constitution, Mass Gen and the korean war veterans memorial. THere is no parking on the property though

From start to finish we had a bit of a nightmare. The best thing I can say about it is its location ‚?? very easy to get to via the ferry (although it stops quite early) and it‚??s in a quiet neighbourhood. On check in, we provided our voucher as proof of our booking. We were asked for a credit card for any incidentals. As I was pretty certain we weren‚??t going to be charged for anything, I gave a pre-loaded card, which had our travel money on. However, when we came to use the card on the third... Read more

As one previous subscriber stated, The Constitution Inn is a good choice if you‚??re looking for an economy hotel in the Boston area. The hotel is located in the Navy Yard area, which is bustling during the workday, as the area is comprised of renovated large shipping buildings. Many businesses occupy these buildings, and there even is a branch of Mass General Hospital. Over the weekend the population drops and the streets are a bit more deserted, of course, but we still walked around, and felt ... Read more

I cannot tell you enough not to stay there. Yes it is cheap, but very dirty. No parking on property. You need to park in public parking and walk. Very, Very dirty. Hassle to get any money back. DO NOT STAY

We selected this location because of the proximity to downtown and it offered a shuttle to the train station. Actually the hospital furnishes the shuttle and we can all use it. That part was really great. The hotel is old and in desperate need of an update. We stayed the first few days of November and our room was on the upper floor in the corner. It was hot as crap. Apparently the hotel turns off it's AC and you can no longer use it after a certain date no matter the temperature outside.... Read more

My family has been there twice now. The rooms are clean and as advertised. Kitchenette worked great since we are on a budget. Staff very helpful on parking and using public transportation. We'll be back.

We chose this hotel because of the price and location. We attended an event at TDGarden and we could walk there from this hotel. The accommodations were okay, nothing special. My only two complaints are the outlets in our room were loose, so they wouldn't hold the plug in so I could charge my electronics and the pool was closed at 6:30 on a Saturday! My daughter was very disappointed.

When we first checked in to our room at the Constitution Inn, I thought "this is ok." For the price, I wasn't expecting too much. We got a room with two double beds and a very small bathroom. It also had a microwave, small coffee maker, and a mini fridge, which was nice. The first thing I noticed was something crusty stuck to our curtains. It was also very warm in our room and it smelled like mildew. I thought I could deal with all of that. We left quickly to meet friends, and when we came back ... Read more
