The Park Plaza, A hotel with a long history in Boston, had an extensive renovation several years ago. The Lobby has huge eye appeal, the lobby bar is spacious with prompt and pleasant service, and the lobby restaurant is quick and reasonable. At one end of the lobby is a fabulous restaurant, "Strip by Strega", which is a little pricey (naturally) but well worth it. The property's location is very nicely located, with several restaurants within a three minute walk, and very near the Public Garden ... Read more

My girlfriend and I flew up from Florida to spend 4 days in Boston for the Super Bowl. While searching for hotels in downtown Boston, I came across the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. It had, by far, the best prices in the area. For 3 nights I was able to get an out the door price of $309. The hotel is located within walking distance of the commons, multiple subway entrances, and multiple restaurants and attractions. The only negative part is if you had a car, parking prices were outrages. Then again, ... Read more

Terrific room and great location for the price. The public garden is a block over and the beginning of Newbury Street is half way past the park on the left. Ten minute walk to Copley Square and Prudential Center. The bathroom configuration is a bit tight so you may want to take that in to consideration. Safe travels!

This hotel offers comfortable rooms at a reasonable rate compared to it's competitors. Some of the rooms can be on the small side but if you are only using the room to sleep this is not a problem. The lobby is impressive but the gym is the jewel in the crown and sets this place apart. Customer care is very good as well.

Location is good but management is bad and dishonest. Avoid this hotel by all means! They add crazy charges to your bill and give you all kinds of BS answers about it! My advice is to avoid this hotel by all means!

Easy to find hotel near the Prudential and Hancock towers and some of the downtown shopping areas. Nice lobby/registration area; a well appointed restaurant and an upscale bar/restaurant adjacent to the lobby. The rooms are small but are set up quite efficiently. Considering the location, I felt I really got my money's worth. Very comfortable bed; flat screen tv with several premium channels; plenty of hot water and water pressure. I slept quite soundly and woke up refreshed. Never used the Fit... Read more

Recently stayed at the Boston Park Plaza for a business meeting. The hotel has recently completed a $100 Million restoration project which did a really great job of updating to accommodate modern necessities but also retained some of its historic character. The banquet food & beverage was excellent. Service was very good and engaging. Banquet rooms are beautiful. Guest room was very nice although somewhat noisy. I was on the 14th floor and heard quite a bit of street noise through the nigh... Read more

Loved the hotel and location! Great downstairs professional gym, better than any gym I've been to even with a monthly membership. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central area to many sites including downtown, back bay, and Commons/MGH

Note that night time noise is in the background, Bring your sound machine or APP for a good nights sleep . Be prepared to be woken by the garbage truck and those pesky back up beepers. I found the door men very friendly and even UBER friendly.

You really want to like the Park Plaza. It looks nice, however the facility falls short. Room walls are super thin so what your neighbor is doing becomes your business too. The doors to the rooms SLAM shut so good luck sleeping in when people are leaving for the morning. And a super weak cocktail at the bar...$12.85. Front desk staff, however were excellent.
