While the room was comfortable and clean the hotel is very isolated. On a high point with a long steep drive it is not a place to stay if you do not have a car. There is little in the area around the hotel. There is a hotel shuttle which will take you to the nearest T station but sometimes there is a lengthy wait for this if it is already away on a trip. The breakfast is very poor and extremely expensive.

My husband was staying here for 2 weeks in Oct 2015 (for work) and I flew from Chicago to spend the weekend with him. It looked dated, but nice. However, my husband had requested (flipped the sign on the door) turn down service Friday morning when he knew I was coming in and they failed to do so. No big deal, we left the sign turned over Saturday thinking they would get to it. They didn't. We finally had to call for clean towels, extra blankets, shampoo, etc. After 2 days. I'm sorry if it sounds... Read more

A true suburban hotel, were the staff is very pleasant but not very knowledgeable. I did not have a car, so it was taxis and the company they use takes a while to get to the hotel. The room was fine and that is where it stopped. The towels were like sandpaper and the mattress should have been replaced about 10 years ago with the pillows.. The resturant is under constructuoin so they have a buffet breakfast. They do not re fresh the buffet on a very timely basis. The bacon and sausage were ... Read more

So glad it was just an overnight stay; my back could not handle it. Check in was long and cumbersome and I don't know why. She just kept typing and typing and typing. Finally I got my key and went to my room. The location was not convenient and parking was a pain. Oh well, lesson learned!

Well, I ended up here at an extremely good price through one of those "bid your own price" mega sites...a local friend seemed skeptical when I mentioned where I was staying...but I was delighted by this hotel: very friendly staff, doing EVERYTHING possible to accommodate (early arrival, late checkout), plenty of free parking, old-time huge room completely updated...a little out of the way but close to everywhere I needed to visit. I suspect this hotel is under-rated - I would stay there again i... Read more

We recently spent two nights here with our dogs. This is a very pet friendly property with a special area for the dogs right next to the property making it convenient for walking them. The room was clean, the beds comfy, and the near the town of Needham. I would highly recommend this Sheraton.

We attended a morning visit and decided to have lunch in the Cafe. We were amazed by the offering, Lunch Express. My wife ordered a Panini with chips. I ordered a bowl of Clam Chowder and half a Turkey BLT with fruit . Not only was the food delicious, but the amount served was almost too much to eat. The service was very pleasant and efficient. I believe that it would be worth visiting and not waiting until our next business meeting in the hotel.

During my 10 night stay here with business I had personal items taken from my room that the hotel took no responsibility for, and offered minimal apology for this. There was no effort to find the missing items and I was offered no compensation. Alongside this, the restaurant has a very small menu of average food, the majority of staff were not in any way friendly and the corridors were left full of used room service plates for days on end. I had to request for smashed glass to be removed from ... Read more

Great hotel near a beautiful part of Boston. Although immediate surrounds feel pretty industrial, a short drive puts you in a gorgeous part of suburban Boston. Staff were very helpful, and the Club experience was great with young kids. They loved the pool also! The only thing that was a tad disappointing was the expensive on-site parking which had problems letting guests in/out during our stay. Short drive to the T, some great restaurants around. Would recommend!

Good points: clean, comfortable, reasonable rate via Priceline (although see below) Bad points: musty smell as if the room isn't used often - like dirty socks. Also, we put out the sign indicating we didn't need our sheets changed but that seems to mean they don't do any refreshing of the room at all - they didn't make the bed, didn't provide new coffee or half n half, didn't empty trash, didn't bring new shampoo, no new towels....they just ignored the room. Also, this hotel is a solid 45 minute... Read more

I would be doing everyone a disservice if I didn't warn you about the HORRIBLENESS experience we have had with this hotel. They ruined my wedding night, verbally assaulted my family and have done NOTHING to make it right much less apologize. Our first mistake was using this "hotel" (I put it in quotes because it's really a motel) instead of the beautiful marriot down the street. We used a room block for my family that were all coming from out of town for my wedding. I should have known it would... Read more

From the moment Paulett and Allison checked me in, I was very impressed with their customer service. The hotel is conveniently located off i95 and close to Boston - the immediate location is rather industrial but the local suburbs are lovely.; The hotel is very pet friendly and there are terrific dog parks only a short drive. I stayed for 4 nights and the bedding was extremely comfortable - a mix of pillow types so I found one that was perfect. The room was fine and the bathroom was very lar... Read more

This hotel was nice, it was close to Boston Downtown (25min drive). The staff was very friendly and responsive to our requests. The breakfast for the club floor was Okay, not a big selection and variety. The Hotel was also very cold, the clim was ON even when the weather was cold, Overall, I would still go back to this Hotel and recommend it, as it has great features, very clean and nice staff.

I stay here regularly when in Boston/Needham on business. The property is quiet; well maintained (though not particularly modern/updated), and the on-site restaurant & bar serves above-average hotel food and has friendly bar staff. Definitely a decent choice for the area.

We stayed for a week in Newton and this hotel was a good choice. This hotel was about a mile from the train station. The hotel provided a shuttle we could call down for or walk to. The walk was nice in the morning. There was no continental breakfast, but that was alright because there were enough breakfast places close. The room was very clean and had lots of space.

Ruined my nieces wedding night. Promised transportation from the hotel to wedding venue for all guests. The night before the hotel said they couldn't because they were short staffed. This left wedding party and guests to use Uber. The rooms were not clean and the staff was less than helpful. The bartender cursed at one of the hotel guests and chased after him. The manager proceeds to tell the wedding party "He can't control his staff". This was nothing short of a 3 ring circus. No breakfast ... Read more

Nice quiet area just outside of Boston. Normally we stay in Norwood, MA at the Four Point Sheraton(10-15 minutes distance). Same chain, different service and quality. The breakfast buffet was cold and of low quality. The coffee was excellent but was easier to have a root canal than to get a second cup. We stayed at the Sheraton Needham after a concert at Gillette Stadium. The hotel itself is nice and the check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, but the bed seemed to dip a bit and the room looked a little tired. I had two main issues with the hotel. The first is that the room didn't have room darkening curtains. It did have sheer curtains and a shades that could be pulled together, but these did not keep the morning light out. The other issue I had was the parking... Read more

Traveling home from our vacation week from Ogunquit, Maine, my wife developed a severe migraine. We were half way home and sitting in traffic. We had to pullover into the rest area. After about an hour, I knew her migraine was going to be really bad. I decided to search our GPS for a nearby Sheraton. We're SPG Gold members, and had available points. Needed to find a hotel for a last-minute, 1-night trip to Boston and, as such, were going to bring our small dog. The Sheraton Needham was recommended and I was happy to find they are pet-friendly! The hotel itself is situated in the Needham suburb of Boston, close to I-95 and Mass TP, and was perfect for our stay. The room was clean and spacious (standard King). Easy to find, right off the exit from I-95. Comfortable rooms, but we pre-programmed AC and no fridge. The AC was on stop/go mode, so every 15-20 minutes my sleep was interrupted by the noisy machine. Parking is available around and in front of the hotel in a multi-level parking, but if you don't make a little scandal, they will charge you $12.00/night for using this normally free "perk". Breakfast is grossly overpriced, so can't tell anything about its quality. The pool and hot tub is nice, ... Read more

We only stayed one night for a family function. The hotel was very nice. It has a large bar & dining area. The food was good & the staff was very friendly & accommodating. We had a room w/ 2 double beds which was very spacious even w/ 4 people & it included Wi-Fi. The only downside really was the sliding pocket doors to the bathroom. They are very awkward & loud. Oh.... & $12.50 per night to park. :-O And the lot doesn't even have security or cameras.

I spent one night at the Sheraton Needham and but for the fact that I needed to be in downtown Boston every day of my trip I would have spent the whole week at this hotel. It's a corporate hotel so you know what to expect: a decent size room, easy parking, convenient to major roadways. The hotel is located off Route 128 just south of the turnpike. At $300/night I expect more from a hotel than a bed and a TV. In this case there was no night light. There was no extra blanket to be found anywhere. There was a refrigerator that was devoid of anything but cold air -- not even a soft drink. (yes, I would expect to pay for what I use, but there was no option here). The hotel was very average overall, easy to get around and plenty of parking (although all parking is $12/night which I did not see before booking). The lobby was big and had a cafe and restaurant which would be great if you were travelling with friends or a large group to have a common place to meet. The hotel common areas were clean and my room was in good shape but nothing special. The club "lounge" was really just a small space with a few tables, bar stools, couch and TV - offerings were ... We stayed here three years ago and hoped we would have a good experience again. Again we opted for a club access room which is on the 5th floor. The floor is only able to be reached by a room key swiped in the elevator. As I was traveling alone this time, I appreciated the safety feature of this. Convenient location, right off 128 (I-95). Easy access. However....the parking is in a deck-tight spaces and not near the entrance, especially with luggage. Frequently, the hotel books its meeting space for events that flood the garage, leaving little to no room for guest parking. They completely messed up my check-in, over-charged the hold amount on my card, gave a second bill to my guest, told me to 'come downstairs' with my computer when I had a problem with wi-fi, made no attempt to acknowledge my concern about mistakes in billing. Parking inconvenient. No sense of customer service at all. A smile costs nothing. Frequent traveler, and will not stay at Sheraton again.

Our extended family all stayed at this hotel over the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff could not have been more helpful! They did all they could to make our stay comfortable, which it was. The rooms were fine and the beds very comfortable. It was really great to be close to the shopping center (to which they have a shuttle running), but not so close so that you feel like you are in the middle of a commercial area.
