I stayed here for a few days while on a business trip. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It is only two blocks away from Newbury street, so there are plenty of restaurnats and shopping do to while there. From the hotel lobby, you can walk the connection to the huge, upscale shopping mall. You don't even need to go outside if it's raining!! One of the nights I was tired so I ordered food from the lobby bar/restaurant. The food wasn't great, but it was convenient. There is a starbuck... Read more

We were here for a quick weekend to see our daughter. We've stayed at the hotel several times and overall, it's a nice place. Usually very busy with a great deal going on so sometimes there is a wait for the front desk person. However, the rooms are very nice and spacious and the staff is also very nice. We actually got the name of the "bed" because it was so comfortable. The location is almost perfect...a short walk to Newbury Street with some of the best shops and restaurants in Boston. ... Our room was very clean. The pool is beautiful and clean. The pool area had a nice outdoor courtyard with tables, chairs and umbrellas surrounded by pretty flowers. The staff from the attendant on our floor, the valet, the front desk and the gentlemen in the lobby were so friendly and helpful. Everyone stopped to greet our pet. The lobby had various places to sit and a nice restaurant attached to it. The escalator lead us directly to the Predential Center's shops. Easy access to Interstate. The... Read more

This is a great hotel for a meeting or if you have a convention at the convention center. Quick trip from the airport (less than 20 minutes I would guess.) Easy access to the mall for shopping and centrally located to lots of great restaurants. The gym is very good - a small range of free weight dumbbells, nautilus equipment, and cardio equipment. (The gym did get quite warm - not sure if the AC was broken.) The pool has a retractable roof and is very large if you are into swimming laps. We... Read more

Just spent six nights at the hotel. The rooms are ok, not overly large. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect for the convention centre having a direct walking link. To be honest this hotel is over-priced ~220 USD per night for room only. The breakfast is ok, buffet for $20 but not a massive selection. We were offered the green option when we checked in which equates to only having house keeping on the 4th day for which you are compensated 4 x $5 vouchers to use on the Starbuc... Read more

Arrived earlier than anticipated and our room was ready!! Yay! Check in was a breeze. Parking is expensive but that's all Sheratons. Back home in Chicago I paid the same. Concierge gave some great advice on nearby tourist spots as I have never been. The only complaint I have is that there was no dvds or program guides for the tv. I didn't know what movies were playing that night. And there is no wifi. For the price you pay at Sheraton you should get free wifi (lobby doesn't count!).

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights - we were very impressed. The rooms are spacious, clean and safe. The pool was clean and bigger than expected. Inside the hotel were two restaurants and a Starbucks which came in vey handy! We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Back Bay Area in Boston!

Was so excited to stay here, however was so disappointed in the size of the room. So tiny, couldn't even shut the bathroom door when siting on the toilet, you had to shut it before you sat down. Coffee pot was to be a Keurig so I brought extra Keurig Cups with me. Well, it was a regular drip coffee pot. :( That was one of my biggest disappointments. Room was clean enough. Staff were friendly. Front desk staff friendly, however my room key didn't work upon check in, I was exhausted and so... Read more

Only thing that would be better if there were 2 bathrooms! Pros - large, spacious room, even had a fridge. Club floor provided excellent snacks after 5:30pm and a delicious breakfast - lots of beautiful berries, quiches. Nice view over the river. I was attending Americans for the Arts, a national arts conference in Boston. Much to my dismay, because of several conferences being held in Boston on the same weekend, hotel rooms were at a premium. I contacted the Sheraton, but alas the hotel was showing booked full. It is conveniently located and despite being crowded, it offers you a pleasant stay. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and clean, you can relax on the outdoor swimming pool on a warm day or reach a few shopping malls through the hotel's escalator. Avoid the rooms near the elevator, you can hear the noise nearly 24 hours a day!

Located in the heart of Boston at the Prudential Center about a 20-minute taxi ride from Logan Airport, the hotel provides well-appointed rooms and friendly service. The front desk people are welcoming and helpful. The area is convenient to many restaurants on Newbury and Boylston Streets and about a 20-minute walk to Boston Commons.

I usually stay at other hotel chains, but was attending a conference with family. The check-in front desk was rude, especially when I pointed out the reservation dates were incorrect. Our room was next to the elevator and small and clostrophbic. The bar service in the lobby was terrible. The maid seemed to only want to make up the room when were in it. I will never stay here again.

At the end of June, I stayed at the Boston Sheraton for a medical conference, like most brand name hotels it had all the amenities, but what sets this Sheraton apart is their staff. Stayed in Boston at Sheraton for 3 days before we attended a wedding in Rhode Island. Beautiful view of city from 29th floor, incredibly comfy beds and the central location is perfect. Walked to a Red Sox game at Fenway, walked to Boston Common and shopped at the malls connected to the hotel. Staff and concierge were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Sheraton Boston as part of a conference taking place next door at the Hynes Convention Center. At first glance, the hotel lobby is really just one outdated mess with check-in, a bar, random seats and a Starbucks all co-located in a single area. It is in desperate need of updating. Check-in was quick. I arrived on a Tuesday night at 8pm and was immediately served by the SPG counter (I've got Gold status). We came to this hotel as a family, the location is what prompted this reservation plus the fact that my husband had a meeting at the hynes. It is connected to the prudential mall, where shopping is delightful and is central to many major attractions. Having said that, the rooms felt out dated, we booked a suite. The size was acceptable, however there were limited drawers and cupboard space. Which was an issue as we were three in the room. With three suitcases. The bathroom was super small. There... Read more

Good free wi-fi, and exellent service, including the help-desk. I have to say that it is quite unusual to get solved your IT problems when travelling. Being connected to the convention center and the Prudential shopping mall is very convenient as well. And finally, the location in the Back Bay area, walking distance to most of the Boston attractions.

Boston Sheraton is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. It's located in downtown Boston. Everything that Boston has to offer can be reached from this location. So, if crowds and big lobby are not your thing stay away. Apart from that it does its job. The closest subway is the Prudential station on the green line. Its close to Copley square,Boston Public library and Berklee school of music. Location is central and you can walk to many places. There's a Starbucks inside the hotel and they provid... Read more

I had spend a few months at Sheraton for a project a couple of years ago. When I came back, Memsura at the Club Lounge recognized me right away. After a long day at work away from home, her warm smile and caring words make me feel at home. For business travelers like myself, a familiar and friendly face means a lot when choosing a place to stay.

The Sheraton in central Boston is perfectly located to see this beautiful city. The hotel itself is a busy place, with conference facilities, but the staff are never too hard-pressed to give you time and friendly advice. There are restaurants galore in the vicinity and there is an exit from the hotel directly into the Copley Mall. The room was clean and spacious, with crisp white bedding and everything you need including a coffee-maker, although there is a branch of Starbucks off the lobby!

Used this hotel on holiday on a room only basis. Perfectly acceptable hotel - easy check in, clean good sized room with interesting cityscape views. Pretty small bathroom given the size of the room! Overall a liitle impersonal from our point of view but got the feeling it's really a business hotel. Would mention though the Concierge desk was very helpful and the chambermaid on our floor was lovely - friendly, helpful and chatty, nothing was too much trouble.

Full disclosure, I've stayed at this hotel probably over a full calendar year in days over the last 5 years. The staff has turned over some, but there are certain individuals that constantly impress me. Memsura in the lounge on the 29th floor is great and always remembers me, provides excellent service, and makes staying here better. Warren at the front desk is another who stands out. While the hotel is pricey, I do not think there's a better competitor in the area. The rooms, especially junio... Read more

I stay here several times a year when in Boston. Very clean hotel, rooms are comfortable and staff is very accommodating and efficient. The pool is very good as is the fitness room. There is an excellent restaurant that offers breakfast as well as brunches on weekends. There is also a coffee shop where you first walk into the lobby that offers snacks and drinks as well. The only downside is the parking is very expensive, but that's Boston for ya, like most big cities. The hotel is within a... Read more

We did book the hotel through Hotwire and so probably paid a bit less for our king room. We just didn't expect $42 daily garage cost. We were traveling up north for a wedding and family so we had a car in Boston. Just a heads up. The hotel was lovely, nice location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. This is my second stay in a year at this location. The hotel is convenient near Newbery Street and Copley Place. Great friendly staff. There are many rooms which face the Charles River with a great view of the River. Nice Platimun status recognition. Gift shop in lobby, Starbucks on site. Valet parking available but parking is $50 plus per day so keep in mind. Lovely Club Lounge. I would recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

Came to town for a long weekend of sight seeing and we could not be happier with the friendly helpful staff, beautiful room with a stunning view from the 26th floor! Beautiful pool with retractable sun room roof. The shuttles all stop just outside the hotel. But this location is also very walkable, we walked to Fenway and the the park and shopping! Could not be happier with this hotel.

We are thrilled with the service we received at the Sheraton Boston and SPG Platinum recognition. The room upgrade we got was incredible and much needed due to our personal and work schedules and demands. The location for this city is unparalleled as it is central to all the sites, shops and restaurants of the Back Bay area, but a bit behind the main streets so still somewhat less hectic than other hotels on main streets. We would head back again and again!

My stay was only for one night, the location is fantastic if you need/want to be in Copley Square (and best if you have no car since any garage is expensive in the area). Room was very small, but clean, with a few minor things (not enough towels, although there really was no place in the bathroom for storage, and had to call for tissues as well since there was ONE in the box). Bed was nice (especially since my previous night had been in another hotel with the worst bed I have slept in since co... Read more

Spent 4 days in October. Poor location surrounded by malls and multi-storey car parks. Quite a long way from downtown places of interest. While we were there reception seemed more like a meeting place for fans going to the Red Sox game taking place to the detriment of guests. Hotel looks and feels dated with very drab decor in rooms and public spaces. Restaurant very limited and staff abrupt to the point of rudeness. All in all if you want a decent hotel go elsewhere.
