I stayed here for a few days while on a business trip. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It is only two blocks away from Newbury street, so there are plenty of restaurnats and shopping do to while there. From the hotel lobby, you can walk the connection to the huge, upscale shopping mall. You don't even need to go outside if it's raining!! One of the nights I was tired so I ordered food from the lobby bar/restaurant. The food wasn't great, but it was convenient. There is a starbuck... Read more

We were here for a quick weekend to see our daughter. We've stayed at the hotel several times and overall, it's a nice place. Usually very busy with a great deal going on so sometimes there is a wait for the front desk person. However, the rooms are very nice and spacious and the staff is also very nice. We actually got the name of the "bed" because it was so comfortable. The location is almost perfect...a short walk to Newbury Street with some of the best shops and restaurants in Boston. ... Our room was very clean. The pool is beautiful and clean. The pool area had a nice outdoor courtyard with tables, chairs and umbrellas surrounded by pretty flowers. The staff from the attendant on our floor, the valet, the front desk and the gentlemen in the lobby were so friendly and helpful. Everyone stopped to greet our pet. The lobby had various places to sit and a nice restaurant attached to it. The escalator lead us directly to the Predential Center's shops. Easy access to Interstate. The... Read more

This is a great hotel for a meeting or if you have a convention at the convention center. Quick trip from the airport (less than 20 minutes I would guess.) Easy access to the mall for shopping and centrally located to lots of great restaurants. The gym is very good - a small range of free weight dumbbells, nautilus equipment, and cardio equipment. (The gym did get quite warm - not sure if the AC was broken.) The pool has a retractable roof and is very large if you are into swimming laps. We... Read more

Just spent six nights at the hotel. The rooms are ok, not overly large. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect for the convention centre having a direct walking link. To be honest this hotel is over-priced ~220 USD per night for room only. The breakfast is ok, buffet for $20 but not a massive selection. We were offered the green option when we checked in which equates to only having house keeping on the 4th day for which you are compensated 4 x $5 vouchers to use on the Starbuc... Read more

Arrived earlier than anticipated and our room was ready!! Yay! Check in was a breeze. Parking is expensive but that's all Sheratons. Back home in Chicago I paid the same. Concierge gave some great advice on nearby tourist spots as I have never been. The only complaint I have is that there was no dvds or program guides for the tv. I didn't know what movies were playing that night. And there is no wifi. For the price you pay at Sheraton you should get free wifi (lobby doesn't count!).

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights - we were very impressed. The rooms are spacious, clean and safe. The pool was clean and bigger than expected. Inside the hotel were two restaurants and a Starbucks which came in vey handy! We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Back Bay Area in Boston!

Was so excited to stay here, however was so disappointed in the size of the room. So tiny, couldn't even shut the bathroom door when siting on the toilet, you had to shut it before you sat down. Coffee pot was to be a Keurig so I brought extra Keurig Cups with me. Well, it was a regular drip coffee pot. :( That was one of my biggest disappointments. Room was clean enough. Staff were friendly. Front desk staff friendly, however my room key didn't work upon check in, I was exhausted and so... Read more

Only thing that would be better if there were 2 bathrooms! Pros - large, spacious room, even had a fridge. Club floor provided excellent snacks after 5:30pm and a delicious breakfast - lots of beautiful berries, quiches. Nice view over the river. I was attending Americans for the Arts, a national arts conference in Boston. Much to my dismay, because of several conferences being held in Boston on the same weekend, hotel rooms were at a premium. I contacted the Sheraton, but alas the hotel was showing booked full. The check-in was very pleasant and the room was good, with a lovely view of the Charles river. The bed was very, very comfortable, just what you need after a long flight. The meeting facilities were excellent and I would recommend this hotel for business travellers who want a convenient location in Boston

It is conveniently located and despite being crowded, it offers you a pleasant stay. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and clean, you can relax on the outdoor swimming pool on a warm day or reach a few shopping malls through the hotel's escalator. Avoid the rooms near the elevator, you can hear the noise nearly 24 hours a day!

Located in the heart of Boston at the Prudential Center about a 20-minute taxi ride from Logan Airport, the hotel provides well-appointed rooms and friendly service. The front desk people are welcoming and helpful. The area is convenient to many restaurants on Newbury and Boylston Streets and about a 20-minute walk to Boston Commons.

I usually stay at other hotel chains, but was attending a conference with family. The check-in front desk was rude, especially when I pointed out the reservation dates were incorrect. Our room was next to the elevator and small and clostrophbic. The bar service in the lobby was terrible. The maid seemed to only want to make up the room when were in it. I will never stay here again.

At the end of June, I stayed at the Boston Sheraton for a medical conference, like most brand name hotels it had all the amenities, but what sets this Sheraton apart is their staff. Lisa Macneil went above and beyond in meeting, and exceeding, our needs. She was most professional, courteous, and helpful, all on a very busy Sunday.

Stayed in Boston at Sheraton for 3 days before we attended a wedding in Rhode Island. Beautiful view of city from 29th floor, incredibly comfy beds and the central location is perfect. Walked to a Red Sox game at Fenway, walked to Boston Common and shopped at the malls connected to the hotel. Staff and concierge were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a conference recently at the Hynes Convention Center. Overall a very nice place to stay. Good location and nice facilities. I thought the bathroom was a little small proportionate to the room, but that can't really change. I do, however, hate being charged for Internet in my room at this rate.

I have stayed at several Sheratons in North America, this one least impressive. Reception staff lack luster, they checked me in and barely spoke to me. I attended a conference here in May 2016. Situated in the midst of several malls and in the Back Bay Area with the subway nearby you can travel Boston or stay in the hotel area for great choices of food, bookstores and a first class fitness center. The staff have always been superb. My best recommendation for a hotel I have stayed at since 1985.

Boston Sheraton provided a great place to stay while going to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Its only a short .7 mile walk and goes quickly. Amazing room we had with a fantastic view of both the City and Charles River. Visited a very nice diner "Charlie's" for breakfast before departing to Logan and flight home.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of our family road trip of North America. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 teens and booked in to a junior suite on the 22 nd floor. The room although in need of a refurb was perfect for us with a bedroom with 2 double beds and a large pull out sofa in living area. There was a large hallway which was great for storing luggage. I booked this hotel due to its pool which has a roof that opens up to reveal the boston skyline. Nothing nicer than jumping in to a poo... Read more

The hotel is very large and well suited to accommodate large company meetings. The location is perfect and therefore super easy and fast to get everywhere in the city. We walked to Fenway for a game, top notch restaurants are everywhere and a quick Uber ride to other parts of Boston if you don't feel like walking. The hotel is connected to a very large shopping mall which makes shopping for anything you need, very easy to obtain. Best of all Amy and the other concierge's have been so helpful i... Read more

I had business at the convention center and stayed here. It's attached to the convention center, which is extremely handy, but if I came for pleasure, I would consider this hotel because of the great location, easy walk to fabulous sites, and the extremely comfortable and spacious rooms and beds. Plus the staff were amazing. In particular, I have to give thanks to some of the team in the restaurants for helping me arrange all of my business needs. Thank you Jonathan, Shewaye, & Gethee (sp?)!!!

I stayed at the Sheraton Boston as part of a conference taking place next door at the Hynes Convention Center. At first glance, the hotel lobby is really just one outdated mess with check-in, a bar, random seats and a Starbucks all co-located in a single area. It is in desperate need of updating. Check-in was quick. I arrived on a Tuesday night at 8pm and was immediately served by the SPG counter (I've got Gold status). It was a long day of travel - I had come from the west coast - and the ... Read more

This is my first stay at this hotel that is so conveniently attached to the Haynes convention center. The service has been very good in all respects but the most memorable service has been from Caroline Goncelco our housekeeper. She kept our room well stocked and clean and provided all the requested extras that made this a memorable stay. After a busy day at meetings - she provided a nice room to come "home" to!

We came to this hotel as a family, the location is what prompted this reservation plus the fact that my husband had a meeting at the hynes. It is connected to the prudential mall, where shopping is delightful and is central to many major attractions. Having said that, the rooms felt out dated, we booked a suite. The size was acceptable, however there were limited drawers and cupboard space. Which was an issue as we were three in the room. With three suitcases. The bathroom was super small. There... Read more

I have spent a couple of days for a business trip. The rooms are comfortable, although the bathroom (at least the one in my room) was small. Good free wi-fi, and exellent service, including the help-desk. I have to say that it is quite unusual to get solved your IT problems when travelling. Being connected to the convention center and the Prudential shopping mall is very convenient as well. And finally, the location in the Back Bay area, walking distance to most of the Boston attractions.

The Sheraton Boston is centrally located to many of Boston's greatest attractions. The accommodations are wonderful, and the hotel staff are so helpful. One particular staff member, Barnabas, was extremely helpful in answering all my questions. He was kind and courteous and went out of his way to make sure I had all the information I needed. Would definitely stay here again!

This 4 star hotel has everything you would expect. We secured the room on Priceline Express which does not give you an option for what TYPE of room. With 2 10 year old girls in tow, I had to make sure we had adequate bed space. Barnabas was so helpful and friendly and he got us 2 double beds in a room with a nice view. He was excellent! Went to Boston for a convention, and this was the convention hotel. Last time I was in Boston, stayed at the Hilton, right across the street. I didn't dislike the Sheraton. Its just that, unless I was going for a convention, I wouldn't necessarily stay here again. The room was plain Jane, average. Air conditioning control was far from perfect (too damn cold no matter what I set it on), so I turned it off altogether. The lamps looked very dated and shed very dim light when I tried to work at nigh... Read more

Boston Sheraton is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. It's located in downtown Boston. Everything that Boston has to offer can be reached from this location. Public transportation is s stone's throw away. The rooms are suite styled ( or at least the room we stayed in), so the living room and bedroom are separated. My one complaint ( and it's a rather small one) is the layout didn't work for me and my wife. The bedroom is right next to the living room. Although the rooms are separated by Fre... Read more

Nice pool, especially on a hot day. Clean, well appointed rooms with good space. Close to a mall so lots of restaurants in easy walking distance, especially with a stroller. Parking expensive but not that much choice around. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which seems to be a Sheraton thing these days.

I stayed at this property because it was the "official" hotel of a conference I was attending in the Hynes, but I'd definitely stay here again by choice in the future if I were in the area. Check-in was a bit slower than I'd have liked (the place was packed due to multiple conferences, and there just weren't enough people staffing the front desks), but other than the long wait my stay was fantastic. My room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, quiet, and had a decent view. Housekeeping services... Read more

The location is OK. The rooms are also fine, but pretty expensive. The indoor swimming pool was closed in the first day due to a private party. On the second day it had so much chlorine that one could only swim for a short period. During the night there was a fire alarm. The announcement were very poor. We had to spend some time in front of the hotel. No compensation whatsoever.

The main highlight of this hotel is the location. It is adjacent to, as in connected to, the convention center and in the heart of Back Bay. Skip the in-house restaurants, there are really awesome places just across the street. This trip I stayed on the 11th floor. The rooms are fine and seem slightly bigger than usual and include a small frig. If you pass on maid service, you can get extra starwood points. Easy option if you are only there 2-3 days. I was there for 3 nights for a conference. So it served its purpose although the meeting rooms were FREEZING!. My view was fantastic. The room was fine. Probably ideal for the business traveller, as it is huge, well-equipped and located away from the main tourist attractions and close to offices etc. The main problem is parking! Try to avoid bringing a car, as you either pay huge amounts for valet parking or have to use the Prudential Center, which is also pretty costly.
