"The hotel was wonderful. It is located in a great area, Copley center. The mall was right behind the mall and the gym was nice! Didn't have a great view, but we were never in the room other than late night and out the door early, I'm sure we could have moved but we were just ready to get out and see the city."

"Upgraded to the Deluxe King room at time of reservation. We received a beautiful room on the top floor corner. The room was comfortable, large enough and the A/C worked great. Comfortable bed, also. The housekeeping staff kept the room attended to and did so early in the day. We loved the location, about a 15 minute walk to Fenway, also within 2 blocks to the Prudential or Hynes stations on the subway. Back Bay shopping and dining is nearby and the Prudential Center mall is attached to the hotel. Would stay at this hotel again."

"We arrived for our first visit to Boston and had booked a Club King River View at the Sheraton Boston for the 4th of July. We were told at 5 p.m. that the room wasn't ready but they didn't know why. About 10 minutes later we were called back to be told that the room we booked was not available. They gave us a smaller room with no river view. We specifically booked the room not for the amenities or size but for the 4th of July fireworks. We had paid in advance and were now told that there were no rooms for what we booked. We paid $50 to see the fireworks from the top of the Prudential Center. The only compensation we were given was a $50 comp in the bar and then after ordering drinks were told that it couldn't be used for alcohol. After a scene with the manager it was resolved. We paid a premium price for a river view suite and ended up with a small room on the other side of the building. We felt like the Sheraton should have refunded a part of our payment in light of their failure to meet the requirements of our prepaid reservations. Needless to say we will never stay there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else."

"I am usually quite happy staying at a Sheraton, but this particular stay was under par. We paid extra for a suite facing the river and giving access to the Executive Lounge area. Our room was a suite but did not face the river. We were there to see the fireworks for the 4th of July and that is why we choose the room option we did while booking. Not being able to see the fireworks from our room meant that we had to pay an extra $50. to see the fireworks from the top of the Prudential, which has no seating and my husband is limited in the walking/standing he can tolerate. We did try ot use the Executive Lounge (whic does face the river) BUT it was absolutely loaded with people. I've never seen an executive lounge that full -- an it was full at every hour of every day, which suggests to me that the hotel gave access to the area to too many rooms. I felt like the Sheraton should have refunded a part of our payment in light of their failure to meet the requirements of our prepaid reservations."

"Great view of the Charles River and Cambridge. Lots of Eastern European people wearing costumes for a festival .These inconsiderate people were in the halls making noise until 4AM. Hotel did nothing. When I checked out I let them know that I paid almost 300 for the hotel and 46 for the car to be parked in their garage where I would have got a better nights sleep. The clerk could have cared less. It was a memorable 40th anniversary. When I went online the day of check in I could have paid about 80 less for the same room. I will never stay here again. "

"Arrived to find that our Club king, river view had not been booked for us. We could not access our itinerary online as a password was not sent to our iPad. The reception insisted we had booked a standard room and we had no choice but to accept it as the hotel was full. The Reception Manager gave us free access to the Executive Club and we did have a river view, just not from the Club floor. nAfter phone calls and emails the agency finally sent our itinerary and, after double checking their paperwork, the hotel admitted their mistake and, upon our request, they moved us to a club suite where the view was much better. The bathrooms in both rooms were tiny and the rooms had a stale smell. Would not stay again despite the good location and helpful concierge."
