This is a great hotel if you are looking to stay close to Faneuil Hall. It is located directly across the street from Quincy market and a short walk to the aquarium. The hotel is beautiful from the second you walk into the lobby to the rooms they have. A little on the pricey side, but well worth the amount you pay. The staff was very nice and helpful. Taxi's are swarming outside of the hotel so you never need to worry about finding one. Bars, restaurants, shops and the harbor surround the hotel!... Read more

This is the perfect hotel for the real Boston experience. Directly across the street from Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, you are in the heart of everything. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom and the waterfall shower. The size of our room was not generous but was adequate for our needs. We spent 4 nights in this hotel, enjoyed one dinner and one breakfast in the restaurant on site, very good. Beware if you come with your car it cost $49 per night to... Read more

The hotel is modern and very well maintained. You have all of the typical room amenities of a 5-star hotel including including free WiFi and ample receptacles. The old saying in real estate are that the three most important things are location, location, and location. This is just as true, especially for a tourist, in choosing a hotel. Don't misunderstand, this is a very nice hotel. It could probably stand a minor updating/refreshing, but nothing major. We had a nice corner room (312) that afforded us terrific views in two directions. We could see Fanueil Hall and also look toward the North End with its great Italian restaurants. I image another... We stay 2 days. Our room was on the top floor. No view and you couldn't open the slider because of the grilled beef smell from nearby restaurants. The pounding base from nearby bars went on past 2 am. Over $300!per night and could get a good nights sleep. The bed was good, as well as the linens and pillows.

I stayed in this hotel and on arrival was informed that a member of staff there "worked" with the New England Patriots and could get me tickets. A staff member made a call and informed me that I could have a ticket for just over $130. The hotel charged this amount to my room. However it transpired that the hotel were using a third party ticket tout who was not connected with the Patriots and the face value of the ticket was only $89. It appears I could have got better ticket for this price an... Read more

While the hotel no longer has the Millennium name it has changed little in the past decade. And that's a good thing. The rooms are more than standard with attractive wood beams and updated bathrooms. The balconies are a bit awkward but at least you can get some fresh air. The service is excellent especially the room service folks. The in room breakfast is tasty and promptly delivered with a smile. The prices are reasonable and the European continental is recommended. They upgraded us to a bigger room when we got there and the staff was very knowledgable of the area. They gave us great recommendations for dinner and places to go for good night life!!! The rooms are clean and cozy!! It's also right in the middle of everything so it's only walking distance to main attractions!!! I highly recommend a stay here!!! Will definitely ... Read more

We stayed here for three nights at the end of September. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable. Both the bathroom and room were very clean. The staff were very helpful. Just a couple of small complaints, we found the air conditioning very noisy and there was no shower cap in the bathroom. The hotel has a fabulous location, near to Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and the Freedom Trail. Also there are lots of good restaurants nearby.

Stayed here for a night while in town for business. Clean rooms, a bit small but for a hotel in the city it's the right size. Corridors are very narrow and windy easy to get lost. Bathrooms are very spacious and my room had a balcony and a fireplace that overlooked Quincy Market area. Hotel restaurant needs more of a selection on the menu for dinner but it's a modern atmosphere and is great for a drink before bed. Staff was very friendly. We stayed at the Bostonian for 5 nights. When we arrived we were greeted by Valet. their prices are $49/day, which is right around the average for this city. We received our valet ticket and headed into the front desk. The staff was courteous and professional. We received our room keys within 5 minutes, and off we went to our room. Our room had a great little balcony overlooking some older buildings to the back of the hotel. Some of the rooms overlook Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, we were j... Read more

It is a nice hotel but we are here for two nights and so far it is disappointing. First room we were offered was terrible because of the smell of smoke. We were moved to a lower floor above a bar which is very noisy. They upgraded us to a suite which is good because we are now sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge area because the bedroom is too noisy. We live right in the middle of London so to say somewhere is too noisy really is something! Apparently there are no other rooms available so we ... Read more

If you only have one night/day in Boston and need a great location to experience Boston, this is the hotel for you. Or maybe you will have more time, but stay at the Bostonian. From the minute you arrive, the staff will welcome you and assist in any way to get you settled. Valet service is the way to go. Well worth the. $10 extra to have them care for your car. The rest of your experience can be on foot ( most any way) or by public transportation to get you to all the Boston landmarks.

Loved the location, staff, and overall atmosphere of this hotel! This hotel is literally a stones throw away from all the "tourist" attractions! It's also very close to the "T" for those wanting to venture further out and away from Quincy Market/Fanueil Hall. Uber is also a great alternative to get around as well. Be sure to take one of the tours (Duck Tour) when you first arrive, this gives you a better idea of what to do and where to go during your stay. I will say this much, when checking... Read more

After some research, we choose this hotel for two main reasons, the location and the price. It is in the heart of the upper north end, just steps away from the Freedom trail, Quincy market and tons of shops and restaurants. The hotel is very nice, well maintained and updated. Some of the rooms have small balconies with planter boxes and there are also walk out balconies at random locations in the hotel. Not only was this hotel centrally located and well appointed but there was even a good restaurant, North 26th, on site. On the weekends there's a farmer's market literally just around the corner. I was supposed to have some sort of suite, however it was a very inconvenient room with a small stairway to enter the room, and all I got was an additional fire place (who wants a fire place in his hotel room?) and apparently a slightly bigger bathroom (did not notice). While the hotel is ideally suited close to Boston's main attractions, the hotel needs to lift its game to become exceptional. On the plus side, the bed was extremely comfortable, but the internal doors had never been set correctly on installation so creaked whenever opened, the a/c unit was unduly noisy, there was no convenient ice machine, and the restaurant staff found it difficult to smile. The hotel is beautiful. Serive is excellent. The restaurant was very good. The biggest problem with this property is that every door sticks. Instead of a click as the door latches, there is a bind which force is needed to overcome. Doors bang day and night. This location is simply too nice to have such a glaring issue. We stay at the Bostonian every year around Thanksgiving and love it. This year, not so much. On a cold/rainy/snowy night after dinner in Boston there is nothing more fun than using the in room tv to find a movie that is still in the theaters or just recently released. Don't expect it here.
