Stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend. Great spot to get anywhere. Right by Boylston and Commonwealth Aves. Connected to the mall so easy to go buy a forgotten bathing suit for the hotel pool dip at night. Parking was Expensive and a bit cumbersome to get to your car - pay the extra $10 for valet.

Boston Marriott Copley Place is one of the nicer Marriott Hotels we've visited. We stayed on one of the higher floors and had a great view of the Charles River. The hotel is connected to the Copley Place Mall which has a wide range of shops from high end to mid range including Tiffany's and David Yurman and Tumi. There are several very nice restaurants within walking distance.

Arrived this afternoon and needed to pop over to the supermarket. Only a 30 second walk away but the rain was torrential! Not ideal when one has arrived with t-shirt, flip flops etc! Concierge were beyond helpful. They were out of umbrellas but went searching for more, and found one for me. Brand new I believe. Truly wonderful customer service. Thank you so much...I hope you get recognised for this. It's the little things.

We had a comfortable week long stay for a sport event in March. The hotel is centrally located - attached to Copley Mall, the Prudential Center and adjacent to the Hynes Convention Center. The room was clean, spacious and well-appointed. My biggest complaint was the security in this property. Given that the lobby is essentially part of the Copley Mall, heavily utilized by tourists and locals alike, I was astonished that there wasn't a key required to access the guest room floors. Most hotels tha... Read more

It's a standard huge Marriott with not much individual attention like in smaller hotels. The pluses: near shopping such as Prudential Center, Copley Shops and Newbury Street. The bads: platinum members on weekends only get 8 dollars off the 28 dollar breakfast. Other Marriotts it's offered free. And service was so-so. Rooms ok- nothing special. Modern tech elevators crazy confusing- and not only for me....

My first trip to Boston and this was a great spot to stay. No car so we walked everywhere. Fenway maybe 1.5 miles away and freedom trail a couple of miles in the other direction. Property itself is very nice. paid for an upper floor/view upgrade and would recommend doing that. Very quiet (I am a real light sleeper), clean, comfortable bed, great gym. Staff was very friendly and helpful. more places to eat and drink nearby than you can visit. I would absolutely stay here again

This was the perfect venue for this course! It was a very intense 2 day review course which meant we needed to be on our toes and focused on the material. As part of our course we were offered breakfast the first day which had delicious and overall healthful food choices. We also had one working luncheon meeting with a sit down tastefully presented delicious salad which the crew served us so well. Most importantly, we had intermittent breaks which were THE BEST I have ever experienced! Th... Read more

Seems all the bugs were worked out from my last visit, room was extremely clean and nice views of Boston. Restaurants were excellent and room service was prompt and food hot and good. This hotel has a great location to grabbing a cab, T stawtion is a block away, and access to duck boat tour is right across ther street. Stayed in Boston for three nights as part of a vacation for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Great hotel & great area to stay with good access to the T (underground trains) to get about. Loved the modern elavator system where you pressed the number of the floor you require on a screen on the wall & it then told you which elavator to use. Rooms were spacious very comfortable & clean. Would definitately stay at the Boston Marriott again.

I know this hotel for 20 years and stayed here before many times since I lived in Boston from 93 - 96. I just had the 20 year reunion from my University and I decided to stay with my wife at the Marriott Copley Place, I thought it was a good choice because of its location and service for the money. Big mistake. The location still great, but the service declined a lot in these 20 years but the price is a 5 star hotel. I booked the 28th floor and when I got there they told me the 28 and 29th flo... Read more

There is a grocery store located right across the street as well as Dunkin Donuts which is a must try if in the east coast areas. Service was ok. Loud hotel overall. Served its purpose to get us girls through the weekend. Close to all the activities were had planned while in Boston. I just stayed at this place last weekend and it was one of the nicest hotels I've ever been in. The staff was quick and easy to deal with, the rooms were clean and very very nice. The bar was great and fun and full of life. The restaurant is WAYYYY above average for a hotel. The breakfast Buffett is great, actually some of the best fruit I've ever had in the states. The pool is clean and on the 27th floor, so there is an awesome view while you swim. You'll love this place! Also VERY cool elevat... Read more

This is a big city downtown hotel! It is very busy and hectic in the public places! The room was well appointed and clean. It was also very quiet at night to my surprise. It always amazes me in this day and age the expensive hotels charging for wifi. The hotel has a high end mall attached to it but there was only a few place to eat in the mall. The hotel is close to many attractions and is a good place to headquarter your trip to Boston. Dollar Car Rental is in the hotel which was good for ... Read more

Stayed here during the June 22-24 weekend on my first ever visit to Boston. Great location. Walking distance to the Prudential Center, Newbury Street, train, trolley, and bus stations, etc. Best of all was the friendly staff, especially Rocco who got me all the transportation options available and helped me get to Providence by train. Back Bay station is only a four minute walk away. Would stay again when I return to Boston.

To start, valet parking was full so we had to park and find our way up and down thru the poorly marked mall. Rooms were just average and bathroom was small. The worst thing was the elevator. It was a high-tech system that still had guests openly complaining to one another at every stage. Waits could be as long as 15 minutes and check out is even worse. We actually had to plan our trips back to the hotel around the elevator wait. This needs to be addressed! There are many better options for the r... Read more

I stayed here during a convention. I thought that the location was great because you can actually get to the convention center through a series of skywalks via the Prudential Center. They have some "high-tech" perks that I'm not sure are all that necessary -- like the automatic revolving door that stops if people try to touch it (and people tried to touch/push the door because they didn't realize that it was automatic) or the destination elevators that still took a long time. We made our reservations to stay in here for the 4th of July Weekend. The Hotel is beautiful, maintenance is excellent, service was good and the location unbeatable. Price wise was Ok, but them again it is a Marriott. So, Luxury comes with price. Food at the restaurant was very good and the breakfast buffet was very good and loaded with everything. The Champions Bar was a great place to watch the Italy-Germany Soccer match.

The bell staff has been very helpful. They are super friendly and answer all questions. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool was crowded. There is a good workout area though. There are no laundry facilities on site, but you can send off laundry, if needed. Fireworks were great on side facing the water. The shopping at Copley and around this area is pretty good.

I recently stayed here for a work conference. The hotel is nice and has everything you'd expect including a great bar/restaurant, Starbucks, etc. The rooms are clean and modern but nothing over the top. The hotel is in a pretty central to location to Boston's attractions. Overall a great place to stay but is pretty expensive. I also stayed at the Hilton a couple blocks away which wasn't as central but was pretty equal for about 30% less.

We stayed here on the long weekend and it was an ideal location as we were able to walk to multiple places including Fenway Park and the Public Gardens. We were also on a trolley stop which was very convenient. We stayed with our 2.5 year old so I found it frustrating that there was no fridge or microwave as they make life much easier. Wish I had saved more pictures but this place has the best view of the city from the 38th floor we stayed on. Great and very friendly housekeeper we had on our floor. Bed was so soft and comfortable. Elevators are the first kind that I have seen that you don't choose the floor on the inside of the elevator. Pretty neat! I like Marriott, and have stayed several hundreds of nights at them. So I was really looking forward to a nice comfortable sleep here, although the rate, though competitive for the area, seemed exorbitant to me. Long story short, two different rooms with significant housekeeping issues, a mattress that sagged on one side, and a malfunctioning air conditioner, which led to frustration and not great sleep. This is just what you would expect with a nice Marriott property in a big city. Very typical for Marriott - clean, well run, comfortable rooms. It also is right next to Copley Place so a good location if you need to stay near there. Very pricy parking (as expected with all city hotels), but you can save about $20/night by parking at the Copley Place garage next door.

This location is pretty much unbeatable. Easy enclosed access to the Hynes, Westin, Copley Place, shopping, Prudential, Star Market - it's all walking distance. Copley T stop close by as well as the Back Bay Station. Rooms are updated, clean and have all the necessaries. The only blemish is the elevator system which takes a bit of getting used to. I enjoyed a very nice stay. The facility is terrific, both in appearance and location. The staff was receptive and accommodating at every turn, and the fitness room was especially well equipped. The elevator system had some issues at times of heavy traffic, and my particular room (3127) was rather small and tucked away down a corridor. The check in line is followed up quickly with very professional, friendly front desk agents that try to accommodate room requests. The short walk to the elevators reveals an impressively modern elevator bank. There is a large touch screen where you choose which floor you are going to and it will tell you which one of the 12-14 elevators to go stand in front of to wait for its arrival.
