Stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend. Great spot to get anywhere. Right by Boylston and Commonwealth Aves. Connected to the mall so easy to go buy a forgotten bathing suit for the hotel pool dip at night. Parking was Expensive and a bit cumbersome to get to your car - pay the extra $10 for valet.

Boston Marriott Copley Place is one of the nicer Marriott Hotels we've visited. We stayed on one of the higher floors and had a great view of the Charles River. The hotel is connected to the Copley Place Mall which has a wide range of shops from high end to mid range including Tiffany's and David Yurman and Tumi. There are several very nice restaurants within walking distance.

Arrived this afternoon and needed to pop over to the supermarket. Only a 30 second walk away but the rain was torrential! Not ideal when one has arrived with t-shirt, flip flops etc! Concierge were beyond helpful. They were out of umbrellas but went searching for more, and found one for me. Brand new I believe. Truly wonderful customer service. Thank you so much...I hope you get recognised for this. It's the little things.

We had a comfortable week long stay for a sport event in March. The hotel is centrally located - attached to Copley Mall, the Prudential Center and adjacent to the Hynes Convention Center. The room was clean, spacious and well-appointed. My biggest complaint was the security in this property. Given that the lobby is essentially part of the Copley Mall, heavily utilized by tourists and locals alike, I was astonished that there wasn't a key required to access the guest room floors. It's a standard huge Marriott with not much individual attention like in smaller hotels. The pluses: near shopping such as Prudential Center, Copley Shops and Newbury Street. The bads: platinum members on weekends only get 8 dollars off the 28 dollar breakfast. Other Marriotts it's offered free. And service was so-so. Rooms ok- nothing special. My first trip to Boston and this was a great spot to stay. No car so we walked everywhere. Fenway maybe 1.5 miles away and freedom trail a couple of miles in the other direction. Property itself is very nice. paid for an upper floor/view upgrade and would recommend doing that. Very quiet (I am a real light sleeper), clean, comfortable bed, great gym. Staff was very friendly and helpful. more places to eat and drink nearby than you can visit. I would absolutely stay here again

I just had the 20 year reunion from my University and I decided to stay with my wife at the Marriott Copley Place, I thought it was a good choice because of its location and service for the money. Walking distance to the Prudential Center, Newbury Street, train, trolley, and bus stations, etc. Best of all was the friendly staff, especially Rocco who got me all the transportation options available and helped me get to Providence by train. To start, valet parking was full so we had to park and find our way up and down thru the poorly marked mall. Rooms were just average and bathroom was small. The worst thing was the elevator. It was a high-tech system that still had guests openly complaining to one another at every stage. Waits could be as long as 15 minutes and check out is even worse. I stayed here during a convention. I thought that the location was great because you can actually get to the convention center through a series of skywalks via the Prudential Center. They have some "high-tech" perks that I'm not sure are all that necessary -- like the automatic revolving door that stops if people try to touch it (and people tried to touch/push the door because they didn't realize that it was automatic) or the destination elevators that still took a long time. Very hospitable and quiet as a church, which is amazing for a hotel of this size. We loved the location. Close to everything and walking distance to some super restaurants. It's pricey, but it's worth it! We also liked the idea of getting points instead of maid service; who needs new towels and sheets everyday. Save the planet and take advantage of this plan.

The Marriott Copley Place is a great location for seeing the town. It is a 5 minute walk to the train/subway station that can take you just about anywhere in Boston or beyond. The bedrooms/bathrooms are very nice and clean. The hotel concierge was very helpful. The hotel is "connected"' to the mall which makes it very convenient and there is a mall and supermarket across the street. There is also a restaurant (which I did not try) and a Starbucks in the hotel. There are plenty of restauran... Read more

This Marriott was probably renovated about ten years ago. Rooms include typical amenities - refrigerator, safe, coffee pot, hairdryer. Rooms have double beds with feather top mattress covers which make them soft and comfy. But mattresses are a bit worn so sleeping is cozy. Standard size pillows were good quality. Blackout curtains blocked 90% of light. Wifi is not free which I find strange. It's $12.99/day. Wifi quality was good so money was not wasted according to my kids., Bathroom is fine w... Read more

I recently stayed at this hotel for a business conference. It's right in the heart of Copley Square and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and other attractions such as Fenway park. There are several stores inside the hotel if you don't have time to go out. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. The only negative would be the dirty glasses that were used during our last dinner at the conference.

We only had one day to spend in Boston so our first choice was to buy tickets for the Hop On Hop Off Trolley. We left Chicago at 7AM and arrived in Boston at 10:15 AM. The lovely reservationist at our hotel told us to take the public transportation which went directly to Copley Square. It was $7.50 which was way less than a cab or a hired van. We arrived at the hotel close to noon after getting our luggage and catching the proper bus. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was fantastic! I... Read more

I used mobile check in & requested a corner room upgrade through mobile chat. I've attempted to communicate several times at other properties and typically it takes a long time to respond or the system fails. BMCP responded immediately & told me they would note my request and try to accommodate since I am a Gold member. Upon arrival, my room was ready and request was made. I was particularly surprised since I was attending a very large conference and the hotel was very busy. My corner King was ... Read more

Great place to stay if you want to see the sights! Great restaurants are close by and attractions like the Boston Public Library, Boston Common and the Museum of Fine Arts are walking distance from the hotel. You can also get on a Duck Boat Tour across the street from the Marriott!

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night with some girlfriends. Hotel is the perfect location. We went to the Top of the Hub for drinks and dinner and didn't have to go outside! The temp was about 97° so not having to go outside was great. The hotel is connected to the prudential mall by the Skywalk and the elevators to the Pru are attached to the mall. We ended the night with some drinks at Champions within the hotel. Everything was great. Check in was quick and easy. Got to check in at 12:30 even... Read more

Very centrally located. Walking distance to Prudential Center, Convention Center, Boston Public Library, and Boston Duck Tour station. There's a Star market across the street. The lobby is always busy like an airport terminal. Rooms are clean and quiet.

The hotel was great. We walked into a PACKED!!! Lobby we reserved a 2 double river view room but check inn worker said there's on King rooms he said we can wait 2 hours in the lobby to wait for a room but then thankfully he snatched a 2 bed room at the last minute. We didn't get a river room but it was newly renovated. Pool and whirlpool was nice and big. We went to take a taxi to Fenway park and walked back. We planned to stay at the Westin (one of my favorite brand) and since it got booked up ... Read more

This was our 3rd stay at this property. The location is very convenient (Near the T, by Copley Square, between 2 malls, across from a grocery store). The new elevator system makes it easy to get to higher level rooms. Rooms are on the small size but clean and comfortable.

You can walk thru the covered walkway right into the shopping mall. Fenway park is a short walk way. Always stay here when attending a Red Sox game. Nice lobby with a large eating and bar area on the second floor.
