I loved my stay at the Langham in Boston. I was fortunate to visit during a perfect Spring weekend so the city and property looked stunning. The hotel is located in the financial district and is a quick 7min walk to Macy's and the shops located Downtown. The service was great, not over the top and when I had an issue it was attened to immediately without question. The rooms are old school decor which I apppreciate as well as bright and spacious. The Superior room gave comfort of a king size bed, room to read the newspapers, and we had in room dining one night, with enough room for a portable table. Good sized bathroom, plenty of cupboard space. Our request eg for some wine glasses, were quickly responded to. Good location for the historic walks, harbour. Restaurants were a little scarce on the weekend, but could be located.

So grateful to have found a deal on TripAdvisor to be able to stay at the beautiful Langham Hotel, especially since were unexpectedly upgraded to a Superior King upon arrival. Let me count the ways...this hotel does almost everything to perfection. From stellar service to beautiful and comfortable accommodations. The beds and linens are first class and even the multi-setting shower head makes showering a pleasure. The concierge helped us out with restaurant suggestions and made our reservations for the Chocolate Bar. The only thing I would change is to offer brewed coffee in the lobby to guests in the morning, as many upscale hotels do. There are in-room Keurigs but... Read more

We stayed one night at The Langham on our trip home. I had been to the Langham in Chicago, but the Boston one is better. The rooms are ample in size and have the charm you would expect of a Langham hotel. The location is good if you want access to shopping and the Wharf. I prefer closer to Copley Place, but this works for a short stay. I also got a massage while I was there and I would say it was above average.

We found the Langham Hotel to be very pretentious. It boasts the name of the Langham and because of this the staff were professional but certainly not warm and held themselves in high esteem. Behind the scenes the rooms were very outdated and the restaurant prices ridiculous. Would not stay here again ab

This was a business stay. The service and hospitality are impeccable. I stayed there for 8+ weeks (going home on weekends) and had a terrific experience. Room service was best I've had. The hotel is close to all major Boston attractions. The housekeeping staff is terrific...the rooms are super clean and the a/c is the coldest I've had in years (and I am picky about my a/c). I'd stay here again anytime I am in the city of Boston.

I stayed in both langham Chicago and Boston. Both are sufficient, but the one in Chicago set the bar high so much, the Boston experience felt a bit mediocre in sense of ambience, size and quality of rooms. I absolutely loved this hotel. I loved it when I was greeted at the door, the impeccable room service and the wonderful pool and spa. It is right in the city centre so obviously there is no outdoor pool, but you are so close to some amazing shops and restaurants. We only stayed for 2 nights but I enjoyed them to the fullest. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a few nights for work. While the location of the hotel is great for the financial district I had a terrible time with the wifi in my room. When I called someone, their only response was that it should be fine. Not very helpful especially as I was staying here for work purposes. Room was quite small. I previously stated at the Fairmount Copley where the room was much nicer.

Perfect! We started with the bellhop advising us to park our own car right alongside the hotel for $9 rather than the $49 the hotel charges. The recommendations of how to improve our stay continued from there. The girl who checked us in recommended the spa - very enjoyable, concierge recommended a walking food tour. Clean, clean, clean - this is very important to me. And sophisticated, classy! Great staff - great hotel!

We stayed at the Langham for one night early september and we were not impressed. The Hotel looks nice and is perfectly located but the room was small and old. The valet parking was insanely pricey. Better park across the street for $9/day during the weekends. The bathroom was a shame for a $350 room. The pool and the fitness center were great. We've been to the Langham in Chicago which was so much better. Really disappointed. I'd not recommend to stay in this hotel.

There is a knowledgeable and very helpful concierge. My room was beautifully decorated and maintained. And I found it to be very quiet -- no doubt a factor of the hotel's location. We spent 3 nights at this hotel. The room was wonderful and the staff were friendly and interested in helping. The venue was near everything we wanted to see. Room was quiet and bed was really comfortable.

Not my usual preference for a hotel. A bit too floral and British, down to the pink key cards. This is a personal preference thing, the furniture and bed were all quite comfortable. I'm just more into sleek modern lines than traditional British opulence. If you are a fan of traditional luxury you will likely find the decor at the Langham very much to your liking. The staff were very courteous. Reasonable location not too far from the airport. I was particular impressed with the food. I wa... Read more

The Langham hotel was wonderful. The staff were excellent, especially Larissa who made our check-in experience exceptional. Before our check-in, I was worried that the hotel would be a bit stuffy and old school, but that was completely unfounded. One night we used their complimentary pink car service (an old London taxi) to take us to dinner - very cool! Would definitely stay there next time I'm in Boston.

Didn't have any problem with the staff and service overall. However, I wouldn't stay at this hotel if it weren't for a business trip paid by the company. If you're into traditional luxury with old style interiors and furniture this may fit to your preference; otherwise there is nothing special to my preference. I stayed 1 night only and the second night I changed my reservation to Boston Harbor Hotel, where the rest of the team were staying - it has a better view by the harbor and much much be... Read more

The Cafe Fleuri is a hit for fine dining. We went to their Thanksgiving Brunch and was extremely satisfied. The selections catered to everyone. The food was prepared with excellence. The staff was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our stay at the Langham was wonderful! Loved the looks of the room. It was large, very comfortable and clean as well. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent, no car needed if you are used to walking. A lot of major attractions were close by. My husband and I easily found and walked the Freedom Trail, from there strolled over to Beacon Hill, and then people watched at the Boston Commons before walking back to the hotel. The waterfront is also close to ... Read more

An overnight stay and not one we will repeat, the rooms could do with an update, we did not expect to find peeling paint and mould in the bathrooms of a hotel with such a reputation. The reception area/check in staff were very disinterested. Would not stay again

Hotel was nice, but we were unable to use the pool for 3 days while we stayed here. We chose the hotel for the exact reason of having the pool to use and it was closed during our stay. We did not know this was going to happen prior to arrival.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and professional and couldnt do enough for us. We were spoiled and it was the little things that meant so much. We especially loved the bar, with its beautiful chandeliers, excellent cocktails and food, as well as great staff. The location of this hotel is excellent too. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!! :-)

I stayed here for one night. Service throughout is excellent. Rooms are nicely equipped (a little street noise even on highest floor), bed and bathroom are great. Breakfast is very good but expensive. The gym is a little small. I would recommend and would stay here again

I travel frequently for business as well as pleasure and always can count on the staff at the Langham Boston to provide five star service with five star quality. Everyone is very accommodating and goes the extra step to make sure you are well taken care of. Many hotels that claim to be five star could come here to learn a thing or two.
