I was lucky to be provided a room for a business stay at this hotel. The hotel was very busy that week and the check-out time is fairly late; as I was arriving early from overseas I wasn't guaranteed a room upon arrival, however one of the staff at Reception was very understanding and provided me with a room immediately which was a great relief. The hotel is in a great location, and provides comfortable, spacious rooms. We were with a whole conference group and the bar downstairs has great atmo... Read more

The hotel was very well kept. The rooms are a tad small but that is because half of the room is the bathroom which is huge, has both a shower and a tub, and is very well maintained. Room itself was great and dark. Did hear a tad bit of noise from adjoining room late at night. Bed was good to sleep on, and turndown service was nice as I did not request it. Went out to dinner and when I returned about 3 hours later the room had been made and the bed was turned down for me. Very nice. Hotel ... Read more

I really like this hotel as it's only 2 blocks from the Amtrak South Station train terminal. It's super easy to get to and the accommodations are wonderful. My room had a king bed, beautiful bathroom and 2 nice bathrobes. The staff is very courteous - I'll always stay here when they have availability.

Great place. Great location. Great views. Great rooms and great service. No negatives to report on the Intercontinental. it's top notch. One of the best hotels in Boston. The room is nicely appointed and interesting in design. Very roomy and very comfortable. Nice RumBar off the lobby with reasonably priced drinks. The location is walking distance to seaport, and the North End. Love it.

First off, I have no complaints about this hotel -- everything is top-notch. That said, I took a couple of things out of the minibar so I could put something of mine in instead -- only to find out that they have these robo-fridges that helpfully record all withdrawals so they can helpfully charge you ten bucks for a half-size coke. The front desk was very nice when I explained what I had done (I put back the solid-gold cans of coke the next day!), and they even offered to send up a separate fr... Read more

What a great town to visit for any occasion esp staying at the InterContinental. The service was spectacular especially the Concierge. What a superb group they have- they gave us great recommendations and never steered us wrong! An added note- definitely go to them for making Dinner reservations. They can get you in places that have a wait immediately!

We stayed at this hotel at the start of our 10 day trip to America. We arrived on Monday afternoon and left Thursday morning. Upon arrival were warmly greeted by the bell hop who welcomed us to Boston and the hotel itself, while taking our cases for us, and showing us to the entrance for disabled people (I have a wheelchair). After we had been checked in quickly and with good friendly staff on reception, we quickly checked out our room before going for a walk around Boston. The room was lovely a... Read more

Spent a weekend at the InterContinental and it was great. Room was fantastic, big clean and first class. I took the Water Taxi from Logan which was scenic and convenient with little luggage. Got a great price on using bidding website that was 100 cheaper than advertised. Had room service breakfast which was great but a little pricy. Will go back and stay with family.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. unfortunately on arriving at the hotel the receptionist was not very welcoming and after assigning us our room gave us no information about the hotel even where the lifts were. We asked for chipped mugs in the room to be replaced but they never were. Concierge was amazing

This might be long as I was that impressed First the room design. Perfect for the business traveler. It was spacious and laid out perfectly. On any given trip I am stuck at the desk for a few hours and they've put theirs right in front of the desk, which is awesome. The bathroom had a walk in shower which I greatly prefer, as well as a folding partition to the other room and the light from the window - again perfect. The only small gripe is no electrical outlets on the nightstand. The sta... Read more

This is our second vacation staying at the Intercontinental whilst visiting Boston and as usual the standard of care was excellent. From the moment we checked in to the time we left we could not ask for more. The only meals we had were breakfast but everything was of a high standard and the staff both knowledgable and efficient. Our room was fantastic with a smashing view of Boston and as a retired firefighter I appreciated overlooking the fire station. The location is perfect for getting round ... Read more

We were staying in the hotel for family wedding and it more than met our expectations. Great location on the waterfront close to all historic sites. The service was excellent and the room spacious. Everything on this trip to Boston was so Easy. My wife said many times that it was the best vacation (although short) ever, so if she's happy, then things are going right! Our room was beautiful and modern. The common areas were large and uncrowded. We had club access. The light snacks at happy hour were very much on the sweet side of things, but they were all excellent! The club did not feel crowded and there were very few children, which we greatly appreciated. Room, facilities, cleanness, staff courtesy and location are very very good and in line with the price. there are 2 areas of improvements thou. Restaurants and bar are way too expensive compare to the service and quality provided. Then, if you have a package delivered to the front desk for you, you will be charged more than 8$ for the "post service". Decided to try Boston for the first time as an IHG Gold Ambassador it made sense to stay at the Intercontinental. I should probably start by saying that one of the things that I really value is the recognition of membership without having to point it out - I don't mean that from a status/up myself perspective, but just from a practical point on check in that the membership gives me access to late check out etc. The Intercontinental didn't disappoint - a great, warm and friendly check in straight...
