I really enjoyed my stay with my family. The welcome surprise gift for my 4yr son was very heartfelt and thoughtful. Multiple restaurants with tasty food. Must say very professional staff and very courteous! Keep it up

Besides being a stone's throw from Fenway Park, Newbury Street and BU in the historic Back Bay, it is easily accessible by taxi, subway or by foot. The hotel was recently renovated with chic decor and VERY comfortable rooms. Everything looked and worked perfectly. The staff was attentive and genuine. The two restaurants in the hotel, Eastern Standard and Island Creek Oyster Bar were amazing. Hotel Commonwealth is a one-stop Boston destination all in one.

Great location and friendly staff but just about an average new age hotel. Had the Jr. Suite but just a bigger room. Would stay again if they put coffee machines in room. I have not stayed in a room without a machine in years. Really aggravating. 16 bucks for a pot. Convenient to Kenmore station. Have I mentioned no coffee machine.

Stylish hotel in Boston. It has the cool touch of some places in NYC, however I cannot give 5 stars as shower is not ideally working, there was no shower cap and slippers. No free water provided in the room. This small thing makes people feeling at home and certainly the Commonwealth hotel want its guests to feel at home.

I traveled to "Beantown" the morning after the Patriots won their Super Bowl! An early flight, and a canceled meeting had me arriving well before most guests (checking out) were awake. I'd prepared to drop off bags and find a coffee shop. Smiling faces were all around, and a room was found as if I were right on time. I love these "guys", the staff is always welcoming and always acknowledge your return.

Don't hesitate to book this hotel - Really fabulous. Loved everything about this hotel, the staff were amazing. Nick the concierge was fabulous with his recommendations of the area and what to see and do while in town. I can honestly say Nick has been the most amazing friendly concierge we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We were upgraded to a suite (Room 418) which was beautiful. Fabulous, stunning, clean room with the most amazing pillows. Chris on the front desk was also fabul... Read more

Every single staff member was wonderful; attentive, polite & helpful which added alLot to our stAY. No hot baths for me which I enjoy, but I did know before I got there that recent renovations took the tubs out. Shower water was not hot enough. Room was clean & comfortable. Ice bucket, microwave oven, and coffee maker are not in the rooms upon our arrival. But they were promptly brought to the room upon request. TV doesn't have informative guide, with limited channels, some not in high ... Read more

This is a first class hotel. Facilities: superb. Staff: superb. Room impeccable. Mattress: luxurious. Pillows: divine. (I want to know where they bought the pillows so I can buy for our home). There is not one single thing these folks have not thought of. This is not overstatement: this was a perfect hotel experience. Count on return visits.

Very nice staff- Great location Nice rooms No complaints except that the room smelled way to much like air freshener and had a very chemical smell. i felt like I wanted to open a window and get some fresh air in there.
