This is a great hotel for any visitor to Boston. Central location close to Logan, within walking distance to Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, waterfront and North End. Lobby spans Broad Street and another street making it confusing for Uber drivers. Much renovated bedrooms and baths are exquisite. Corner quiet library off the bustling lobby is unexpected with lots of old interesting books to peruse while waiting. Hotel is only a couple of blocks from Faneuil hall and a 6 minute walk from south station. My room was spacious and up to date. Front desk was very helpful and the bellman always had a smile. Compared to the other hotels in the area, their rate was less.

While I was upgraded to a suite (due to Hilton status), it was a stay filled with numerous issues. I would unlikely stay here again. room ‚?? king size suite ‚?? spacious with a living area and bedroom. I believe this used to be the old wyndham. While they swapped in the typical Hilton d√©cor ‚?? traditional wannabe regency furniture, with a touch of ugly, they did not bother to fix the room so the changes would not be noticeable. Next to the bed were a bunch of drilled holes where the old hea... Read more

This hotel and staff were outstanding during our visit. The service given to our group was just exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and they proved over and over to be so helpful. The hotel was clean and well cared for. The rooms were wonderful and spacious. We will be staying at this hotel each time we visit Boston. The location was also wonderful - within walking distance to EVERYTHING! A wonderful trip!

Although we've been to Boston many times, this was our first stay at this particular Hilton. We travel frequently and the Hilton chain is almost always a first choice. It was a bit farther from "T" stops than we're used to but overall the location was downtown Boston if nothing else. The hotel was clean, ordered and appointed. The staff was adequate but there was a very apparent lack of communication between levels. On more than one occasion, a simple request was not delivered up (or down) the... Read more

Good central location for a lot of Boston attractions. We ended up here by chance via last minute 40% off Travelocity 'mystery' ( don't know your hotel until after you book) booking. Valet parking $51, but save money by parking at Post Office Sq parking garage (3 min walk from hotel) for 9$ night starting after 5pm. Weekend rate I think.

The Hilton Boston Downtown has a very convenient location, but there are definitely some things that are in need of a refresh or just a little bit more TLC now that the property is aging. I was with my family and we had a 1-bedroom suite, and you would think that the suites would be better cared for than a standard room - this was not the case. I stay at a lot of Hilton properties all over the world and would probably say that this one is below average even by chain standards. Examples of what... Read more

This is a great location in a quiet area. We almost stayed down by the wharf and are glad we didn't once we went inside. It was filled with tourists in the lobby. Our room was very nice. We had an elegant shower rather than a tub/shower. The floor of the shower felt slippery so be careful. The hotel is quiet and subdued. The free continental breakfast was very lacking so we used the $10 voucher towards a nice breakfast. The hotel is an easy 1/2 mile to Faneuil Hall.

Walking distance to the Freedom Trail, the harbor, shopping, restaurants and the subway. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The only negative is that the restaurant in the hotel does not have very good service for breakfast. Very slow and we always had to ask for more coffee. The restaurant cocktail service was great in the evening.

The Hilton is in a great location. Well within walking distance to the Freedom Trail and all the downtown attractions. The hotel rooms are nice. It has all the amenities you would expect in a Hilton hotel. The free wifi is not always free. Depends on when you log in. The hotel restaurant, 89 Broad, is a different story. The room is not the best we have had. Small closet space. Shower floor very slick when wet. They have a funky automatic lighting system that leaves the bathroom light on for quite some time. In the AM the lights abruptly come on, blinding me!! There was a lack of hooks in the bathroom to hang clothing. Hard to get the temperature adjusted. Had to call maintenance. No views...just next door buildings. Not sure we will return. John the concierge was delightful. Bright spot of the hotel.

Room size was surprising small. There was not enough space for my wife and I to each open our suitcases at the same time. Bathroom was horribly tiny and tight. $51 to park overnight isn't a function of the Hilton but more a function of the location. Location is excellant

This hotel is close to everything you could ever want to do downtown. Very close to all the trains to take you to Fenway, the airport or river cruises. Just ask the concierge anything, they are top notch!! We did the Freedom Trail tour and it was very good. Check Living Social for $7 tickets. We also did the Old Town Trolley tour hop on hop off. I travel to Boston several times a year with work and have stayed at this hotel a few times. Each time it seems to be getting more rundown. The bar downstairs was good, but the menu changed for the worse last time I was there. Concierge is fine, but I found front desk a bit rude and the general condition of the rooms, gym and facilities to be getting quite tired. It is also fairly expensive. While it is very convenient I am unlikely to stay here again.

The location is priceless when it comes to this hotel. It is centrally located in the heart of Boston near all attractions we were wanting to see over the weekend, the Aquarium, Faneuil Hall and North End. The hotel itself is a decent hilton type with the same commodities a hilton guest is used to. It could use a bit of a refresher, carpets, lobby area could use a little "21st century pick me up". However the service is great and that makes the experience wonderful.

Stayed weekend of July 2/3, so Boston was busy. The hotel is pretty big and had a lot of guests, but it has 6 elevators and it never felt crowded. The location is very nice, give or take a 5 minute walk to the Aquarium and Faneuil Hall/Quicy Market. We only used the restaurant downstairs for breakfast and opted for the very nice buffet. The lady taking care of it when we were there did an outstanding job keeping everything stocked. Usually I don't spend a lot on hotels since it's mainly a place ... Read more

Will start with the cons, we have been diamond members for many years and were given room 1420. This turned out to be a very small room, there is a bedside table with light, phone on one side of the bed, on the other side there is just a few inches and therefore no room for a bedside table. The area for drinks and ice machine cut into the room space from the corridor making the room very small, this appears to apply to room 20 and 21 on all floors so avoid if possible and ask at reception when c... We would stay in this hotel in our next visit! Highly recommend if its ur first time to Boston and wanna discover the area on foot! The valet parking was pricey though 50$ per night! So ur car is paying for her ( the car) stay as well ū???ū???

Was really impressed with this hotel. It is in a terrific location - close to many Boston attractions. The employees were terrific from the doorman to the front desk to the restaurant staff to the housekeeping staff - everyone was friendly and helpful. The building and lobby are art deco, but the rooms are modern, clean and quiet, albeit a little small (but that's common for big city hotels). Bed was very comfortable. The restaurant had a terrific breakfast. Definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was hard for us to choose a place for our first visit; there are so many places, and none of them are cheap, so we knew we needed to find a balance between convenience/location, amenities, and price, and this really fit the bill. Our room was spacious, clean, and very nicely decorated. The location was perfect for sightseeing - we walked everywhere-tons of restaurants, historical sites, tours, shopping, all very close. Room was decent-sized and clean. The staff that I briefly talked with were nice and helpful. The best part of the hotel is its location - it's near a lot of great bars and restaurants, and within walking distance to all of the downtown attractions. The Hotel's bar "89 Broad St." was also great. The price was pretty high, even for Boston, but it's likely because I booked last minute during a big business conference taking place in Boston. It's a Hilton, so it's clean and on the pricy side. We didn't try breakfast or any other food there, because it seemed overprized. Had some wine in their bar one night, which was okay. The location is good for tourists, just a short walk to a number of major attractions.

We arrived in Boston to kick off our 25th anniversary, unfortunately Hilton did provide a very nice start to this part of our travels. We arrived to a dirty room. The glass shower doors had what might have been shaving cream smeared on them, there was hair and urine on the toilet, hair on the bathroom floor and hallway to bed area, and while the bed was made the sheets were not changed.
