My nephew just graduated and I went to go celebrate with him. First....the Hilton Boston Downtown Faneuil Hall is in the perfect location as it is near so many restaurants and a short walk to Faneuil Hall. It is also maybe a 10 minute picturesque walk to North Boston (Little Italy) which we went to twice. I am in my room right now at the Hilton Boston Downtown. The time is 1:30 a.m in the middle of the work week and it is impossible to sleep in this expensive room because there is blaring music coming from the nightclub. The base is so strong I can feel it. I will never stay here again. I called the front desk to inquire about the music and all they said was that they would look into it. Staff very helpful and courteous. Room ok. Chairs weren't comfortable for sitting longer than 20 minutes. There was a clock in the room, but it didn't work. The noise in the streets late at night (after midnight) woke us up two out of the four nights. Convenient location to waterfront. Good choices for eating out within walking distance.

Major sports city you would think they would have nesn network in the channel line up. Otherwise the hotel is great and it's in a great location.The employees go out of their way to help you, especially the bellmen.

Spent 3 nights in the Hotel. It's quite small for a Hilton, but room was good size and clean. The shower area was spacious. There was some noise from the street but it wasn't as bad as was described in other reviews. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It would take you 7-8 minutes of easy walking to various attractions - aquarium, Faneuil Hall an the Bay Area. Overall- I would recommend this hotel.

Our room was nice, updated and clean. The room itself was relatively small, but the bathroom was huge. Not sure if they all are or just this particular room. Valet and bell service was good. It's advertised as the Boston Downtown/Faneuil Hall. It is downtown and pretty centrally located. Very nice, centrally located hotel. The staff was wonderful, special props to James at Concierge for setting up a wonderful dinner for my family. The room was by far the largest we have stayed at with 2 beds, we had plenty of room to move around. If you wanted quiet time, there is a library oust inside the main entrance. Hope to stay here again!

The hotel is very nice. Nice rooms, great location, just minutes to Faneuil Hall and the Market Street as well as to long warf where most of the ferry depart. We had a junior suite for 4 people which had two separate rooms and it was plenty of room. Even a small kitchen was in the room.

My husband and I stayed at this Hilton on a recent "vacation" trip to Boston and used HHonors points to pay for the stay. The single positive thing I have to say about our stay is that the location is really great. Easy walking distance to the wharf, the Freedom Trail, etc. That being said, I would be hard pressed to recommend that anyone stay here. The best thing about this hotel is the location. The room we had was a single king, so it was big enough for 2. Check in was good, concierge, bellmen were very friendly. Housekeeping was good. Would stay again if ever in Boston again.

Lovely hotel convenient to harbour, north end, Fenway Park, Freedom Trail and more. No need for taxis with everything a pleasant walking distance. Excellent nearby restaurants and fun pubs. Friendly and helpful staff.

I am not sure if I would stay here again. As I have written in other reviews, housekeeping makes or breaks a hotel stay. In this case, it drops the rating one star from four to three. The hotel itself is nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. But, at nearly $400/night (once all the taxes and fees are added) I expect near perfection and housekeeping failed three of four nights to get it right. This is my 2nd stay at this property, both occasions for business. And while the location is fantastic as stated by previous guests, the rooms are small, dark and shabby. Each time I've visited, there were HVAC issues. Kudos to the Engineering team who address the issues, but I have found, again as previous guests, the Front Desk staff to be unfriendly and indifferent. The service was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and very well soundproof. Comfortable beds & linens. Onsite restaurant had a good breakfast. The price of the room was less than the Holiday Inn Express, but the hotel was 10 times nicer!

I have stayed at this hotel four times and every time it continues to impress. It's conveniently located downtown and close to many iconic locations. The rooms are modern and the beds are comfortable. Only negative is there is no concierge lounge where at the airport Hilton has a great lounge for its diamond members. But the other benefits of this hotel outweigh the lack of a lounge.

Spending two night business trip at the Hilton Financial District. We needed a conference room on a Sunday and that worked out great. Unexpectedly needed to scan a document and staff handled it for me. It was like having my support staff from home. Great location, great staff, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Great weekend get a way! We were here to see Coldplay in concert! Service was excellent! Used concierge for many recommendations and they were great! The free umbrellas came in handy for the rainy Sunday morning as we strolled Harvard campus! Love this hotel! Location is perfect!

Be careful what room you get. We had a king room and there's only a night stand on one side of the bed. I had the side without one and had to keep my eyeglasses, phone, book and glass of water on the floor! And for $411 a night I would prefer not to keep my stuff on the floor. I told them nicely about the room at checkout and they said sorry! I'm sorry I stayed too. However, the doorman, Eddie, was great. Helped us with directions and restaurant recommendations.

Great, clean, comfortable rooms, great bkfst. All the staff is pleasant and helpful. Love the fact of needing your room key to have access to upper floors, great safety feature. The beds were very comfortable and the towels large, fluffy and absorbent! Our room had no outside noise at all. Stayed here two nights, it was a great spot close to the T, Quincy Market, lots of cafes and food options. Booked through Priceline so I was worried about the room selection, but actually the room was a very good size, king size bed, two big windows letting lots of light in, nicely appointed bathroom, and even a fridge. I stayed here recently with my husband and daughter. I found the hotel clean and the staff were very professional. My room was very nice . What I was most impressed with was the staff. From the door man to the front desk manager, everyone genuinely seemed to care about the guest. I loved the location.It was an easy walk to many attractions. We had the continental breakfast and that was fine. The coffee was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here before. It is a great location, near the Quincy Market and the North End. It is also about three blocks from the ocean going down Broad Street to the east. Spent a week here for some work in the Financial District - you can't do better if that's where you're headed in Boston! Hotel is in great area, very easy to walk everywhere. Area felt safe to walk even at night. Room was nice. Very modern and clean. We had a great time. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Boston.

Stayed on 10th floor in corner room. Clean, well appointed with very comfy bed. Nice size bath with great tall shower. I liked lighting in bathroom. Our king room was a good size with plenty of room for two. Loved the Art Deco lobby and the modern rooms. Great location with Faneuil Hall a short walk away and Logan Airport a short cab ride away. Our room was spacious and very nice. Many fine dining choices nearby. Breakfast at 89 Broad, the onsite restaurant, was delightful. Will stay here again.

Location is the best to get to all the historical sights. Service was excellent. Rooms were very large. Breakfast was included as part of Hilton Honors. They had a great variety for the breakfast options. Staff was great with restaurant suggestions. Location is near several subway lines.

This hotel is central to the historic "Freedom Trail" area of Boston. We walked everywhere to see historic sights and to shop at Fanieul Hall and Qunicy Market. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The $10 continental breakfast included hot steel cut oatmeal. Very satisfying to start the day. We also enjoyed dinner there several times and the food was great and the portions were ample.

This hotel is located right in the heart of Boston - very short walking distance to the cruise piers, Faneuil Hall and various other interesting sights on the central part of the city. I'd recommend you don't get a 'courtyard view' room however - the 'courtyard' has a bunch of noisy airconditioning units in it, meaning that all rooms that face this have to endure the continuous drone of these units 24/7. Given the quality and the location of the hotel this was a bit disappointing.

Look elsewhere. You are going to spend way more than you should to stay in a decent area with a terrible room. The rooms are tiny, dirty, loud, and pretty unpleasant. You can do better. If you must stay downtown, I would strongly urge to keep looking.

My husband and I stayed at this Hilton again for a meeting in Boston. The location is excellent. My husband is a Hilton Honors member so we had a great room. This hotel was awesome. It was right in downtown Boston, but it didn't feel like it. They have kept up on the upkeep really well. The beds were comfortable and the restaurant/bar downstairs was great. I would definitely go back.
