The rooms were incredibly small. I am a Hilton Honors Member and was not given a room on that floor. It was supposedly full. My friends who went wee not Hilton Honors members and they received a nicer room on that floor, checking in several hours later. The rooms were more than $300 a night and probably the smallest rooms I have stayed in ever. The bathroom was so small that there was not really space between the sink and the toilet to stand and wash your hands. Water pressure was bad. Wat... Read more

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Hilton Back Bay to take in the sites of Boston. The Hotel is well located in the Back Bay section of Boston with lots of restaurants and bars within a short walk. Fenway Park is also only a 20 minute walk and we could see the Park from our room which overlooked the Charles River. One nice feature is the On/Off Bus is located directly outside the Hotel, very convenient. To go to Quincy Market or The North End required a cab though, probably would have taken 45 m... Read more

Although frequent visitors to Boston, we had never stayed at this particular Hilton before....we will again! The location is near everything you could wish - restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions, Fenway Park, etc. It's also ideally located to T stops that will get you anywhere else you want to go in the greater Boston area. The hotel staff were among the most pleasant we have encountered and our room was spacious, comfortable and perfectly clean.

The front desk agent who checked us in was by far the sweetest person ever! She was so accommodating. I apologize, but I can not remember her name. We had a personalized card from both Megan in sales, and Josh from concierge, congratulating us on our anniversary. Such a fantastic experience and I am a VERY picky hotel guest. Not one thing that I would have changed. We WILL be back

The Hilton Boston back Bay is a very nice hotel. So close to downtown, the Charles and of course Fenway. We had a wonderful couples weekend for my wife's Birthday. Boylston St. is around the corner with great restaurants and Newbury St. is right there with all its shops. This location is great.

Must be an older building; very loud door noise in rooms on upper floors. Kept me awake. My experience witht he Hilton properties in general is that they are overpriced, Hilton and the associated hotels seem to be operating on past reputation, they are not worth the price anymore. This is the second Hilton Associated property that was very loud. (the other one was in Ithaca NY). Everywhere else I go there is free complimentary WiFI, but not Hilton unless one is a hilton Honors member.

Poor service and awful internet connection. Staff was not attentive to problems. Check in not available when promised twice. Cost of hotel for this type of service is not worth the hassle. There are many other hotels that offer better service, amenities and treatment than this location. It is hard to justify the cost when treated this poorly.

Just don't. Bar had only Chardonnay for white. Out of everything else.m We were told at 10:58 that the kitchen closed at 11. Would not serve. When we went to sit down at the bar, it was covered in crumbs. The bartender actually put our drinks down on top of the crumbs. When we got to our room and tried to call room service (open until 12), the phone did not work. These are pretty fundamental issues. Don't waste good money staying here. I am certain there are better places to stay.

We recently had an overnight stay at this hotel. We will be back again and again and there is one reason and one reason alone: a true gentleman named Calvin. Calvin was there at the front desk to welcome us as though we were old family friends visiting from out of town. He brought treats for our two little children, played with them, sincerely wanted to be certain that all of our needs were met and truly exuded a warmth and joy that would make anyone at Hilton's Corporate Office grin from ear to... Although I was in Boston for business, this hotel is a great location for doing quick tourist attractions like the Freedom Trail and Newbury St. My room was good sized, clean, and bright. The coffee pot didn't work very well but the small fridge was nice. The bed was comfy and the super sized pillows were amazing! Where can I get those pillows for my own house? Aside from the good location in Back Bay, this Hilton is awful. The rooms are outdated with oversized furniture and hard-to-reach electric outlets. Only a handful of TV channels actually worked. Spent three night here with our two children. Room spacious enough for four but beds need to be replaced as rolled together. Paul at the bar is a great asset to the hotel, such a friendly guy, remembered our order from the previous night, great service, thanks Paul. The pool is ok but could do with a bit more 'looking after'. Great location for Fenway & Newbury Street. Cheese & wine tasting in the lobby was a nice touch. Would happily visit again but would request a better view.

I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke. Prior to check-in, I called on two occassions to request and confirm that I would be receiving a non-smoking room. After being reassured and checked in, I arrived at the 19F smelling lingering cigarette smoke. Immediately, I called the front desk to have the room switched to another "non-smoking room." Instead, the front desk sent housekeeping to spray the room. The lingering smoke left me with a severe headache for several days thereafter.

I stay at this hotel very often for business. It's a really good hotel; extremely clean, rooms a huge for a major city, Starbucks in the lobby, excellent doorman in the morning for taxis, wonderful location close to shops bars and restaurants to walk to. Fitness center is comprehensive and bigger than many hotel gyms. They have also recently stepped up service; not sure if this is new management or just a renewed focus but it's visible. Solidly, consistently good.

Great location, front desk staff is super nice. Our room was beautiful and clean, had a gorgeous view, and the bed was super comfy. On the con side the curtains weren‚??t blackout as we expected, and they didn‚??t open all the way. We did have a bad experience on our last day: in the morning before checking out the next people were allowed to check in and walked right in on us getting dressed. Needless to say it was incredibly awkward and from now on I will always be sure to use ALL the locks on... Read more

The Hilton Back Bay is ideally located, being only four metro stops away from the MTA central transfer point, making it very easy to get around the city. Transit to Logan airport is only a little over one block away. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is close to many excellent restaurants on Boylston St. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Visiting for college weekend, I had made reservations for a King Superior Corner Room 6 weeks before our trip. We arrived late (which I told them by email) and we were offered the last king bed on the 4th floor outside the elevator. No thanks. They then put us in a superior (upper floor) double for the night until a better room became available. The next morning we were assured they'd put a rush on a better room (upper floors, king bed), it took until 3:30 to get an upgrade. Ended up with a beau... Read more

It's a nice hotel and the staff were helpful. Clean and comfortable i had no issues. The Trolleys and T (subway) stations are about a 8-15 minute walk away so it's not super convenient if you want to use public transport to go deeper in to the city. Still it's doable considering the value.

This was our fist time at this Hilton and we weren't disappointed! As HHonors members I was able to choose a room ahead of our visit, so I called to get some information on the different rooms that were available. I spoke to Gesa who was very helpful and very pleasant to talk with. She helped me choose the best room for us and provided additional information about the hotel, some of the perks for a HHonors member and other little helpful tidbits. I was traveling into the city alone and meeting m... Read more

Arrived at hotel via the T. A short walk from the Hynes convention Center Station. On arriving at front desk, had a short wait. Agent was not particularly friendly and didn't thank me for Diamond status. Had already checked in on mobile app. Got my key and access to executive lounge with coupons for continental breakfast. Room on 18th floor. Sun bearing down on window. Room temp was very hot. Turned temp down and opened window. Finally by bedtime temp had gotten down to somewhat comfortable. Fro... Read more

The meeting rooms are nice, big and comfortable, with very nice food and lovely service. On the negative side the projector and the screen were a bit outdated what should be improved for an excellent experience.

I travel weekly to Boston on business and can say this Hilton is top notch. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Close to many great restaurants and shopping. The Executive lounge has a great breakfast but lacks a good happy hour. The restaurant is small with a limited menu of choice, but walk just one block and you'll have plenty of choices.

Was in town for a conference at the Hynes Convention Center. Great location to the meeting and easy access from the Sheraton which is across the street. lots of walkable areas (including Newberry Street) and restaurants to sample. Room was as you'd expect clean, good wifi and coffee in room.

This hotel is located next to the Prudential Center Shops and restaurants. There is also easy access to Newbury Street. The staff was very friendly upon check-in, the room was nicely decorated and clean, and the room quiet. I really enjoyed my stay here and would certainly return.

This hotel has a very good team and is always willing to help. Always has a smile on their face. The view from the 25th floor is awesome-you are looking directly over the river and can see Fenway Park. Lots of lights in the evening. Lots of windows to see all you would like to see. Thank you all for being very kind and friendly Definitely would stay here again as we love the back bay area.

Great spot if you want central location. Waking distance to lots of hot spots! Staff were very helpful, booking a bus to Wrentham for us to get all the bargains.!!! We were in a very small room, for 4 people, the staff kindly moved us to a bigger room. We didn't dine here but the menu looked good. We had all our meals out at many of the fab restaurants near by.

I had called the Hilton Back Bay at 9:00am the morning of our arrival to ask for a 1:00pm check-in time, the women I spoke to ensured me that our early arrival would not be a problem and to head down to the hotel. We took the early train & subway to Prudential Station and arrived at 1:30pm, our room was not ready so we checked our bag at the front desk and went for a late lunch and some shopping. I stayed at this hotel with a friend visiting from outside the country. I have Hilton Diamond status, and I wanted to make sure that my friend had a good experience. The hotel happened to be priced very high for the weekend...however it is Boston, and hotels are frequently priced very high.
