Service was good brought water to rooms friendly staff. A little startled by painter. Made load noises before announcing what he was doing (painting).

The enVision is a sweet and quaint hotel. It's on the smaller end with only four floors and less than 10 rooms per floor. The hotel is conveniently situated along a tram line, and although it's not in the city center, it can be a good launch point for a weekend in the city. The staff is small, so you tend to see them daily and get to know them well. They are nice and keep the hotel very tidy. The rooms are mid size, featuring a large television, desk, mini fridge, and microwave. Given the price ... Read more

My brother and I stayed recently at enVision because of its proximity to Fenway Park and Choice Hotels affiliation. We were blown away by both the rooms and the friendly staff. We stayed in the king suite, and were thrilled by the amenities. The room had two of everything: two bathrooms with showers, two apartment refrigerators, two desks.... While it was only my brother and myself, we were able to take advantage of the room and spread out. But I could immediately see the benefit of booking... Read more

My family recently stayed at envision for my son's wedding weekend. The staff was extremely accommodating and attentive to the bride and groom. The rooms were of adequate size, but more importantly they were clean! There were basic amenities in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash). There were complimentary robes and slippers, which was a nice touch. The café on the premises was very small. We ended up venturing out to Dunkin' Donuts (about a 10-15 minute walk away) for c... We stayed at Envision for 5 nights. We used the trolley/subway to get around. The trolley stop is a short block away. Getting around town was easy, once we figured out how it works. The hotel was reasonably priced for Boston. Hotels in downtown Boston were much higher. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. I would have given this a 5 star rating except the windows were hard to open and one fell out. The shower curtain was too short and water splashed onto the floor. Only d... Read more

This is a nice little hotel at the edge of Jamaica Plain. Staff was warm and helpful. Rooms were great - large with very comfortable beds and all the accessories you'd expect. They have a room they call a cafe with some breakfast pastries and sugary cereals - since there is very little in the way of restaurants close (nearest is a 20 minute walk) it would be helpful if they got in healthier breakfast options. There is a luxury apartment building being built next door so traffic is a mess - b... Read more

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room wasn't the best. The door wasn't hung right on the hinges and while I could lock it, the safety bolt didn't work. The water pressure in the sink was terrible and the exhaust fan was noisy. I don't know what the average hotel room costs in Boston, but this was considerably more than the much nicer room we had the previous night outside of Albany NY.

Form the moment of check-in until check out everyone greeted us with a smile. Dana even came in on Sunday to bid us farewell and a safe trip home. We really enjoyed our stay at enVision. Our first stay was just for one night before heading down to Cape Code. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Our room was small but comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. Oh ... and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. We returned to enVision for another three nights and we were upgraded to what I think may have been the Boutique King . Loved it. We'd happily stay at enVision again.

Wanted a hotel in Jamaica Plain and tried enVision out for one night. Though I was initially concerned because of a large construction project adjacent to the property, our room was on the other side of the hotel (facing an alley) so it was fairly quiet. Great service... great room... I have stayed here before and think it's excellent. They always offer free water and high-speed Internet. Overall just a great experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I have.

My husband and I were early arriving at the Hotel and to our pleasure, was told that our room was ready and that we were given an upgrade for being a repeat guest and to much to our surprise, our room was a suite - 2 king bedrooms along with 2 full bathrooms. What a joy, as my husband had a procedure the next day that would require him to be in the bathroom most of the evening. Thank you!

This hotel was beautiful. Had a great boutique hotel feel. Probably the cleanest hotel I've visited. Every staff member we had contact with were wonderful. We were in town for a hospital visit and everyone at Envision was very kind.

Hotel is not easy to get to from the freeway. The hotel is comfortable however you do have to valet park at $25 per night and there is a major construction or renovation project in progress next door to the hotel.

The best part of the hotel is that you simply park here and then they provide you with free taxi vouchers to any of the world-class hospitals in the Longwood Medical District--so you need not hassle with parking at the ...
