Diamond member disappointment, no pluses for this hotel! $3.00 coffee in AM, $35.00 to park, continental breakfast only included. Shabby furniture in sitting area. The room was clean, but bed sheets very can that be?!

I was happily surprised with the size of the rooms and the wonderful view of the Charles river. The staff were very helpful. I got a rental car in less than 10 minutes and with minimal formalities throughout the hotel concierge. The shuttle services to Harvard and to Copley Square proved very reliable. And the jazz club on the second floor is one of Boston's best so my stay was really very enjoyable

Friendly staff, nice location, big room, fairly clean, and the Boathouse 400 restaurant had very good food and service for breakfast. However, my room needed repairs or renovation: the sink was ready to fall off, wallpaper coming off, closet door broken, carpets and furniture worn. Also, no in-room breakfast service.

Our room was very clean. Bed is very comfortable. We got the upgraded breakfasts for $6 each and they were phenomenal. My only complaint is the shuttle only goes to three places. It does not go to Fenway. We had to take a taxi. Who goes to Boston and not go to Fenway?

Great location, views of the Charles river are amazing! Rooms are clean and great amenities. Only down side is the parking fee $35 overnight and that's with you staying at the hotel. I think they should rethink the amount charged to hotel guests for parking. Breakfast buffet was good and staff was super friendly.

Very good experienced. I will recommend it to my friends and relatives whenever they are going in this area. Or recommend to join the HHonor club. The place is nicely located and the view is fantastic. It so nice to watch the different activities in Charles river, people jugging, bicycling and boat rowing, etc. In the restaurant, the service is good and the food is delicious. Worth staying.

My room, 1502, was quite lovely with a nice view of the river and the city. My pre-ordered extras - another blanket and extra towels - were waiting for me. However, This room is called a "King Suite." The bed is actually a queen sized bed. I kept forgetting to mention it when I was there, but upon calling, I was told that "king beds are different sizes in different places" and the queen bed I had is what they call a king. I pointed out that a king bed is a king bed everywhere else in the cou... Read more

We have stayed in a bunch of Hilton hotels. For the price of this one, I am not impressed. First, the key card did not work very well. We had the keys reprogrammed 3 or 4 times before realizing the problem was with the lock on the door that only worked intermittently. We walked across the bridge that spans the highway to go to Dunkin Donuts/Starbucks. It was a little dicey crossing the road at the hotel with all the traffic. The hotel is fun, and in a prime location. Parking and shuttle services are excellent. Make sure you get the breakfast deal-otherwise it is way overpriced. The suite was spacious, the King bed was small- the couch pullout was hard as a rock. The staff smoked in the closets of the pool room, making it extremely smelly in the pool area. I wish the upper deck was open during the fine weather we had- It would have been nice to hang out up there. I was on the 15th floor and sleeping was quiet.

Main problems: a very very low toilet [which was also low flow]! Walking distance to Cammbridge Hotel shuttle to beautiful Boston downtown. Just keep your car in the Hotel connected parking garage. Explore all the city by walking the red brick walk or ride with the hop on hop off trolleys. Enjoy shopping in the Quincy Market area. Don't eat or drink to much while walking the market. With the number of public restrooms provided, as a woman you have to calculate at least a 25 minute wait to go.

Unlike other Hilton properties tea and coffee are not free in the lobby ($2-4.00), there are no newspapers provided. They have hot soup in the lobby but beware for half a paper cup it is $8.00 (expensive). The room was quiet from internal noise but I was on a main road and it sounded as if there were racing cars under my window. We were there for the Flug Tag event in Boston. The hotel is clean and the staff extremely friendly. It wasn't near a whole lot that we were interested in doing and took a cap to Quincey Market and the Harbor. The suites are great. The lounge area is separated from the bed room by the bathroom. There is also a refrigerator and microwave. I used the pull out bed and it was very comfortable but you could hear ever single noise in the hallway from the elevator dinging to the doors slamming. ... Read more

I booked a large Suite 6 weeks prior to my arrival with a non-refundable rate through Hilton Honors. This 786SF Suite was "Guaranteed" yet when we arrived, the Manager told me that my Suite had been sold to someone else days before our arrival. Well he thought it was ok to just give me 2 non connected small rooms even though mine was guaranteed. I had no choice than to accept his offer because they had my money and all area hotels were sold out.

As a loyal Hilton brand person, I selected this hotel due to it's proximity to Harvard Square. Unfortunately, it didn't meet the Hilton standards that I'm accustom to. The lobby and restaurants were fine, staff excellent, rooms mediocre and need of updating. Our AC vent vibrated and was very loud, we had a less than clean balcony - which in and of itself was worthless and view of empty industrial lots. The room was clean enough, however.
