The hotel rooms had a conventional layout and my room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and room cleaning was good. I had free wifi but unfortunately it was slow and would disconnect regularly. this was quite an essential service, especially for Hilton, so I was disappointed. The hotel itself is quite compact - a large part of the front facade was a Starbucks which you can enter from inside. However the hotel reception is one floor up from the main entrance, and is sort of open pla... Read more

Family trip to Boston with a large group of 11. Hotel was conveniently located and staff from receptionist housekeeping valet and waiter/bartender were great and very accommodating for a large group including children. Would like to especially thank Touriya for her exceptional kindness and help from booking dinner reservations, transportation services and city tours. Traveling with a large group can be challenging but Touriya was so professional and kind and made our trip great

Very lackluster place. We got a "City View King" room. Free WiFi was included but we got charged for it anyway $9.99 on our bill at check out. I don't know about you but, I didn't expect my "city view" to be from the 2nd floor of a 6 story hotel! Our view was the kids play area from the YMCA right outside our window. Yup, screaming kids all morning after being up most of the night after attending a concert. In addition, when we walked into the room the floor was ridiculously squeaky. Ever... Read more

Boston is a wonderful city to visit for Menorial Day and the Doubletree was a nice addition to the trip. It was a comfy room in a convenient location with a Starbucks in the lobby! Perfect! The room had all feather pillows and comforters, which I'm allergic to, and when I requested they be changed it was done immediately.

I book travel as part of my job and have booked dozens of Hiltons worldwide for an executive traveler. I also regularly use Hilton as an event destination. I needed to cancel 1 night of a 2 night stay at this location *(ironically, moving to another hilton to be near the airport for an early flight), and was told that I could not cancel 1 night, there was a 2 night stay minimum. The representative offered a front desk manager to see if an adjustment can be made. After several minutes on hold... Read more

Stayed here for four nights. Checked in online before coming to the hotel. The hotel itself is nice, clean, modern, and safe. Location was good as well. Rooms are well appointed with modern appliances and clean. However there were some things that could be improved upon: Arrived by cab after midnight and the main door was locked (which was fine as this is a safety thing I'm sure), I couldn't figure out how to get into the building and no one could see me as the main lobby was on the floor above... Let me just start by saying that if I ever get the chance to go back to Boston, MA I will definitely stay at this DoubleTree. I am kind of OCD about early check-in so I checked in via the HHonors app on my iPhone. I spent an hour trying to figure out how I, as a government employee, could get a city view room without upgrading using cash or my points (which probably wasn't enough). I was able to pull up a picture of the hotel and surrounding area along with a layout of the 5th floor. I wanted ... Read more

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree and overall was satisfied. The hotel is located in a quieter section of the city, but is one block away from the T. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. My only complaints were the lack of a refrigerator in the room and the awful toilet paper. For the room prices they charge, you would think that a refrigerator would be in the room and that the toilet paper wouldn't be reminiscent of something found in a college dorm.
