Terrific service. Norman at the door is fantastic. Went out for a run and he had a water bottle ready for me upon my return along with a towel. He did this two days in row. A little pricey on the expense side.

We stayed one night before a Sunday afternoon Red Sox game, traveling from a B&B in the Boston area. My partner was not feeling well, so I called to ask if we could check in early. The front desk was very accomodating & then advised a nearby restaurant for take out chowder. Parking was included but expires at 3. When we asked the front desk, they validated our parking until after the game. The room was very nice, as was the bathroom. It was a terrific value!

We stayed with a child and the room was big enough to accommodate rollaway bed and mini fridge. The king bed was very comfortable but the roll away bed was very old and dipped in the middle. It was ok for a couple of nights for a child but not an adult. The service was very good. The hotel is nice but it's an older hotel so air conditioner is pretty loud, the shower has very fast flow, almost too fast and the bath tab is pretty small. The walls are also pretty thin and we were able to hear peopl... Read more

Room was clean and ready for a very early check-in, 0900, after arriving from Seattle on the red-eye - very appreciated. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our short stay. We enjoyed a pricey but excellent and ample meal at the Brasserie Jo restaurant attached to the hotel. Cheesecake, Etc across the street was also very convenient, and much more affordable. Of note, our rate by booking directly through the hotel was lower than the "discount" rate offered by our daughter's unive... Read more

Stayed here for a conference, which was across the street. While we noted that there was some wear in the room, but fine overall. No fan in the bathroom and mini fridge did not work, but this did not bother us; we tend to consider a hotel a place to sleep and shower. The hotel does this. The restaurant downstairs is pricey for us, but there is a variety of places to eat and grocery store across the street in the mall. Quite and it stayed that way. The Colonnade Hotel continues to be my go to hotel when I visit Boston, which is typically once a month for either business or pleasure. I can‚??t emphasize enough how great of an experience it is each time I visit. The hotel rooms are hip and comfortable, the employees are SMILING and pleasant no matter who you speak with. And the location has a perfect downtown setting, within walking distance to anything you need. If you haven‚??t stayed there yet put the Colonnade on your list.

We did not stay at this holiday, but we walked by a number of times. Outside staff was friendly. The trolley picks up here and staff showed us where to wait, gave us better timing for the pickup than our own hotel staff and alerted us when they spotted the trolley. I would stay here on a forthcoming visit based on my interactions with this staff.

It is important to note that we typically stay at The Marriott hotels since we are Marriott Rewards members. We enjoy the perks and benefits they offer on a regular basis. On this particular family vacation, however, we decided to try the Colonnade Hotel mostly because we wanted to take advantage of the rooftop pool. When we arrived on 7/3/16, the accommodations were not what we had expected (AC unit was loud and vibrating, some trash was left in the wastebasket, toilet did not flush properly)... Read more
