Terrific service. Norman at the door is fantastic. Went out for a run and he had a water bottle ready for me upon my return along with a towel. He did this two days in row. A little pricey on the expense side.

We stayed one night before a Sunday afternoon Red Sox game, traveling from a B&B in the Boston area. My partner was not feeling well, so I called to ask if we could check in early. The front desk was very accomodating & then advised a nearby restaurant for take out chowder. Parking was included but expires at 3. When we asked the front desk, they validated our parking until after the game. The room was very nice, as was the bathroom. It was a terrific value!

We stayed with a child and the room was big enough to accommodate rollaway bed and mini fridge. The king bed was very comfortable but the roll away bed was very old and dipped in the middle. It was ok for a couple of nights for a child but not an adult. The service was very good. The hotel is nice but it's an older hotel so air conditioner is pretty loud, the shower has very fast flow, almost too fast and the bath tab is pretty small. The walls are also pretty thin and we were able to hear peopl... Read more

Room was clean and ready for a very early check-in, 0900, after arriving from Seattle on the red-eye - very appreciated. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our short stay. We enjoyed a pricey but excellent and ample meal at the Brasserie Jo restaurant attached to the hotel. Cheesecake, Etc across the street was also very convenient, and much more affordable. Of note, our rate by booking directly through the hotel was lower than the "discount" rate offered by our daughter's unive... Read more

Stayed here for a conference, which was across the street. While we noted that there was some wear in the room, but fine overall. No fan in the bathroom and mini fridge did not work, but this did not bother us; we tend to consider a hotel a place to sleep and shower. The hotel does this. The restaurant downstairs is pricey for us, but there is a variety of places to eat and grocery store across the street in the mall. Quite and it stayed that way. The Colonnade Hotel continues to be my go to hotel when I visit Boston, which is typically once a month for either business or pleasure. I canâ??t emphasize enough how great of an experience it is each time I visit. The hotel rooms are hip and comfortable, the employees are SMILING and pleasant no matter who you speak with. And the location has a perfect downtown setting, within walking distance to anything you need. If you havenâ??t stayed there yet put the Colonnade on your list.

Good customer service would have let us into the pool free of charge since it said so on the website, but that didn't happen.

We did not stay at this holiday, but we walked by a number of times. Outside staff was friendly. The trolley picks up here and staff showed us where to wait, gave us better timing for the pickup than our own hotel staff and alerted us when they spotted the trolley. It is important to note that we typically stay at The Marriott hotels since we are Marriott Rewards members. We enjoy the perks and benefits they offer on a regular basis. On this particular family vacation, however, we decided to try the Colonnade Hotel mostly because we wanted to take advantage of the rooftop pool. When we arrived on 7/3/16, the accommodations were not what we had expected (AC unit was loud and vibrating, some trash was left in the wastebasket, toilet did not flush properly)... Read more

Warm welcome and comfort. From checking in to checking out nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Quality and feel of all aspects of the hotel are superb. Luxurious rooftop pool is a real bonus for a city centre accommodation.

From the moment we drove up, Dereke greeted us and explained where to park the car. He brought up our luggage to a magnificent room on the 10th floor. He explained our view and he was so incredibly kind. We enjoyed the roof top pool and we enjoyed the restaurant. It was a spectacular stay! Our bellman leaving Halary, was as kind as Dereke. They both made our stay, perfect. The hospitality at this hotel, is outstanding. From checking in early, and to leaving it was flawless. The room was... Read more

Everyone that we had contact with was overwhelmingly helpful. Food served for the wedding outstanding, and plentiful . Serving of the food was prompt and hot. Returning to our room after the wedding was so welcoming. Our room was very quit even with all the wedding guests staying in the Hotel.

We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again. I love Boston but do not like being in the traffic there...EVER! We exited the Mass Pike and there was the hotel...basically right at the end of the access ramp...so convenient! We are walkers so the location is great and we can get anywhere in the city from here. We had a nice buffet breakfast one morning and the entire hotel staff could not have been more accommodating. The rooftop bar/pool is also very nice. Rooms are cl... Read more

Where to begin? The Collonade in the heart of back bay makes a great impression straight off the bat with a very impressive lobby and excellent staff on hand to assist with whatever you may need, from help with your bags to talking the Red Sox latest transfer. The room itself was incredible! A frankly ridiculously large (and remarkably comfortable) bed, TV with all the sports channels one could ever need, free wifi, a desk, a safe and plenty of space made this one of the most comfortable hotel e... We stayed for only 1 night and the location was great, very easy to get around. We had our teenage kids with us and my son really enjoyed the gym. The rooms were great and very luxurious. The only downside was the $48 to park which I hadn't realised when I booked. Would really recommend this hotel.

Great Location. Very helpful Concierge, John-Paul. Clean, and large rooms. Would go back. Short walk to Fenway and Downtown. Roof top pool was great. Little pricey but whatever. I would recommend to couples, families, or groups. Would go back for sure.

Stayed for one night, had an amazing time. Staff was extremely friendly & knowledgeable. Room was perfect & had a great view of the reflecting pool and fountain right across the street. Hanging out at the roof top pool was probably one of my favorite things I've done all summer, such an awesome place to be on a nice night. Amazing views of the city from up there too. Great area of Boston to stay in, plenty to see and do in the area. Fenway Park, Copley square, Boylston & Newbury Streets, Charle... Read more

The people who work here are tremendous! If they had a people score it would be 5. Our room was big but the window sheers were really dirty, clearly someone wiped something on them so they need to be changed. The roof top pool was a nice find but the edge of the pool liner was heavily stained so I decided not to go in. A little elbow grease and it would be clean in mins. The servers in the pool bar were very good and the food and beer here was better then expected. If it was cleaner it would... Read more

My husband and I booked our stay at the Colonnade Hotel for 4 days. We had a suite and boy are the walls paper thin! They booked us a room right next to a stripper hotel party! there were loud music playing and noise all after the hours of 2am. We sent for security which defused the commotion but the next night we had to deal with a disgruntle newlywed couple that seemed to be having a fight! doors slammed and obscenities. The man even threatened to smash security in the face! The last two night... Read more

Stayed at the Colonnade while on business travel in Boston and found the hotel to be a good comfortable hotel with good rooms and fine service. The Colonnade is located in the Back Bay, an area in which I often stay when in Boston. The location is in many ways very convenient; near shopping and restaurants and just across the Mass Ave. bridge from MIT. It is also fairly convenient in terms of public transportation to other parts of Boston, using either the green or orange lines. The hotel is n... Read more

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Rooms were well appointed, very clean, floor to ceiling Windows. Roof top pool is awesome. Service from everyone at this property was top notch. Jill in reservations was very helpful in finding us the perfect room at the best rate for for family. All other hotels I called in the city I was sent to a corporate reservation line and no one could confirm that we could get connecting rooms. Check in was quick and easy. We were able to check into our room early. B... Read more
