We stayed at Club Quarter for the weekend. I was there for business. The hotel was in a pretty good location. Also, it was clean, quite and amazing. The best thing was the stuff; especially Miki, she was really great and helpful.

The hotel is well located in city center, rooms are not very modern. If you want to have a good breakfast, the Irish pub which is integrated into the hotel is not very recommendable, though service is good. There are several places around to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. subway station is also close. The staff in general is friendly and flexible. I have to say thank you to Carla who is especially attentive and will take care of you and your wishes.

came for business trip, hotel located in city center, it is easy to go to work by walking. It is close to shopping malls restaurants, also subway station and park. It is also close to airport, sea port and financial area. It is just beside the most commercial place in bastion.

In a central place.. can get eateries, south-station in 5 min walk.. but, my friends, corridors and rooms are small.. okay if you are solo.. but not with spouse or with a little kid.. You can tell by the title of this review I really enjoyed my experience in this hotel. Located right in the city centre it ticks all the boxes for a great stay. Both staff I dealt with at reception, Carla and Nikki, were friendly and helpful. The room was good size, spotlessly clean and the endless free bottled water is a lovely touch. This is a basic, aging hotel for business travelers in a good location. Breakfasts and snacks in the clubroom are not available at all on the weekend â?? in fact, not a lot is offered for the weekend guests. He hotel is no more than 3 stars, with small rooms and small bathroom. We knew little about the Club Quarters hotel other than it being very conveniently situated, which proved to be the case. Spent 3 excellent nights there, a wonderful stay. Unfamiliar with the area, the receptionist (Miki) was a bundle of information and very willing to advise and assist. The area is very peaceful over weekends, and a also short drive from the airport. Certainly our first choice for return visits (from Durban, South Africa) to Boston.

This hotel is located right in the city and was very easy to find. There is a parking garage only one block away from the hotel and a discounted rate was offered for hotel guests. The hotel itself was very nice, well appointed rooms and the free bottled water for all guests was a nice benefit. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are on the smaller side, which is pretty typical for a large city hotel. My room had a double bed, smaller than a queen. It also had a desk and lounge chair. I was on the 11th floor (top floor) and the view was of the building across the street. Room service was served in take out containers and grocery bag. That was below expectations. The front desk staff are extremely friendly. I would certainly return for another business trip, but not likely for a vacation trip.

Stayed here for a bachelor party. Walked into the hotel and it did not live up to the reviews and star rating given prior to booking. Rooms were tiny, could barely move around. Bathrooms were tiny. Much smaller than what I'm used to in the city. I left a garment bag with some clothes and it's been like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to help me. I've called, left voicemails, emailed Member Services. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had a weekend without children and wanted a quick getaway. It's within walking distance to Fanieul Hall and the north end which was so convenient . No worries about enjoying cocktails while out. And it was an inexpensive Uber ride for the trip to the Museam of Fine Arts or when it was raining and didn't want to walk back from Fanieul Hall. It's a small room and even a smaller bathroom, but for two people it's fine.

What a great experience. Friendly staff and very clean place. Great location! Walked to many of the sites and restaurants. Valet parking was reasonable and convenient. Very friendly staff. We were able to catch trolley after short walk. I will definitely stay there again

This is a comfortable and functional hotel. Great internet with no hassles or restrictions. The decor in some areas appears dated but I suspect they were going for the historical look. Rooms are a bit small but some would say cosy. I had no complaints, bed was good and you don't get any street noise. Liked the water dispenser on each floor. Staff are good. Very centrally located if you are doing the touristy stuff.

Although my room didn't have a coffee maker, despite the Keurig pods in the room, Larry brought me a brand new Keurig, set it up, and gave me great coffee tips. Larry was extremely helpful and courteous. Five stars for Larry's service.

Excellent location but that is practically it. Nothing more for your money: not the friendliest staff, tiny rooms, lack of in-house restaurant, poor amenities, again, not the place you would expect for 300 bucks per night.

Stayed there for one night. Our basic idea was to make sure go around Boston and this looked to be a perfect place for us. The rooms are small but neat and clean. The hotel staff was very helpful and helped us to get the rooms in the same floor. There are a lot of option to eat outside as this is centrally placed so food will not be a problem. They do have a restaurant which has ample of options. They do have WIFI which works just great. Overall a nice decent place to stay.

First off I must say the convince of the hotels location is perfect to say the least. A good hotel, comfortable and well located! The rooms are modern and clean, the bathroom as well. For me it's a very good choice considering the price! The only bad point, there's no parking at the hotel.. But they have a deal with a parking place 2 blocks away so it's not a big deal.. Just keep it in mind if you have a lot of luggage!

Great hotel in the heart of boston - walking distance to shopping district (Mace's etc) and China town - rooms have tv fridge cooker with pans and crockery sink desk chair coffee maker hair drier iron and ironing board - staff friendly at check in and there's a pub adjoining slightly pricey but ok and the foods not bad - free high speed wireless Internet too - altogether an enjoyable stay and I would recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

This week we stayed at Club Quarters in Boston for the 2nd time. We took the Amtrak from Freeport ME and it was a close walk from the North Station to the hotel. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. Our room was a club size so was not big but was very clean and tastefully decorated and was all we needed. The location of the hotel is great for sightseeing and walking around downtown. The room we had was a bit small and dark for the price, we upgraded to one of the "suites". Basically just a larger room with kitchenette. In the fridge was a left-over pizza from the guest before, they only removed it on the second day after telling them twice! Cleaning of the bathroom was also not very good...

I had a nice stay here. The bottled water and print service is a nice extra. Only ten minutes from south station and 15 from Boston common. The service was very good. A biy noisy sometimes at night but didnt really bother me.

The location was great, check in was easy and staff very helpful but room was small and tired. However there was a sitting room off reception which provided snacks, soft drinks,tea and coffee which was good. We were within easy walking distance of Quincy Market, Harbour, shopping, plenty of restaurants and the Freedom Trail walk.

Carla was a fantastic person to have on the front desk when we arrived. Super helpful and a great sense of humour! She also was there when we checked out ... The hotel is a very nice place. But its location is incredible. The staff were very helpful almost always. I did have one run-in with one guy who said "hotel policy is to not give sodas away after 6pm", that seemed super lame since they give them away during the day, and since everyone else freely gave them away as part of your stay. We stayed here in July 2016 the location was all it had going for it. The free snacks they talk about they don't restock. The guest hand book they have in rooms are out of date and need updating. We tried to order Indian ant the restaurant was closed front desk told us they would find out the nearest Indian was and get back to us they never did. big fan of CQ and the concept so this again did meet my expectations. good location and close to stores and lots of eating options. lobby was great and snacks were really good. facilities in the room were good too. Had a nice clock and speaker system where I connected my phone and enjoyed my music.

Sabine was extremely helpful in assisting me with what to do in the city and the best way around! Was also awesome about storing my bags when I was at work! The room was extreme,y nice with a stove and fridge that worked perfectly. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is right at the city center. It's very near to the many historic/tourist spots, shopping malls and Boston's North End. As I tend to lose things easily, I personally found it helpful that the hotel provides water bottles to guests, which can be refilled with cold water every time. It's bit pricy, but I guess that's the average rate for that part of Boston.

Great place to stay for the location and value. Easy check-in, parking and sights within walking distance. Room was clean and efficiently designed with comfortable bed. Great tavern next door-Elephant and Castle. Suggest using subway in Boston as it is so convenient and cheap. I wish all cities had such great transportation options.

I stayed here while I was in town for work. Location seems good (safe and a lot of restaurants nearby) and the staff is friendly. I like that the hotel has drinking water dispensers on each floor. The cost per night was reasonable - especially for a major city. I would have given the hotel a higher rating if my room was ready on-time and if my bag was sent to the correct room the first time. I read the reviews about the space being small. I can tell you, it is on the smallish side, but the use of the space is done masterfully. We got the larger standard room because the price was so reasonable. The customer service, the reasonable price, the comfort of the beds (yes, even the fold out) and the location more than made up for the size of the space. One thing to consider, the shower is small, if you are a larger person, you may want to consider this when making your choice.

The club quarter in Boston is idealy located. Right in the center, you have access to the most beautiful sights. We enjoyed the city. Miki is very kind and insured that my stay at the hotel was perfect. I loved my journey. Definately recommend the hotel.

I chose this hotel based on its location and price and it was perfect. i was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. The staff are helpful, courteous and approachable. The rooms are spotless and well appointed and most importantly, quiet, despite being in the heart of the city. Highly recommend staying here for a short visit to Boston. I would definitely return.

My husband and I are just back from a wonderful three night stay at CQ Boston. Location was excellent. Service from all staff was outstanding especially Shaun at the front desk. Hotel room was clean. May have been slightly small but Boston has so much to offer we were really only in room to sleep! Highly recommend to anyone who wants excellent value for money spent!!!! Thank you CQ Boston.

Yes, the hotel is well located. Definitely close to everything. You can even get to Newbury Street in 20 minutes by foot. But what makes it more special is the customer service provided by the front desk staff. Carlos was always ready to help and answer questions. The rooms are very well appointed and clean. I slept like a baby in the bed. I have no complaints at all.

This location is in the perfect location. i was in town on business but wanted to do a little sight seeing before i went home. It's close to every line on the subway which is the best way to get around the city. it's also about a 10 mi walk to the aquarium and Fanueil Hall and the North end is pretty close. Shout out to Tristine for the awesome direction and telling the perfect activities to do around Boston.

Great example of good hotel and good staff. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable.Raquel was a doll. She was very friendly and helpful with giving directions. We enjoyed food from Quincy Market and walked many miles exploring the beautiful city of Boston. It's a very small hotel with minimum facilities, but in a great location, down town Boston. When I booked it it was a note that there is complimentary snack in lobby , but the only thing that I found was coffee , not even one granola bar. I stayed just for one night. Overall I was satisfied . It was clean and affordable. I will go stay there again. If you are looking for a affordable hotel in Down town Boston to just stay over night, you will be Ok.

Hotel is situated in the centre of the city, near the waterfront. Main bus/rail station is 10 minutes on foot from it and the closest metro stop is 5 minutes away. Rooms are clean and nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at this hotel for only one night at a Standart Queen Room but can comment about its strength and weaknesses. (-) Rooms are not particularly large, service is terrible at times regarding the dropping the luggage at the hotel, had problems at the check in counter cause my last name contains umlaut letters, no staircase to use (stuck in a maze of fire escapes when I tried to use one, ended up exiting at the ground level and taking the elevator) (+) Wifi is fast and working seamless... This was my first stay at this particular hotel and it wont be my last. My room was the size of my NYC apartment.Location is by all the main attractions.The staff was a delight. Raquel, Shaun and even the cleaning lady. I believe her name was Wilma. When it came to checkout, they allowed me extra time to leave my car (cah) and hold my luggage. The extra time allowed me to enjoy a drink or two at Elephant & Castle. All in all I enjoyed my stay away from the hustle and bustle of NY.

The bottom line about this hotel is that I would only stay here based on the price. The room is very small. Definitely not for a family. And the rooms are quite noisy. when your neighbor opens and closes their doors you will definitely hear them. Bathroom is small, but clean. It's in walking distance to Faneuil Hall

From the time I arrived, until the time I left, the staff, everyone, was courteous. This goes a far way with me! The room was small, but adequate, and location was close to everything I needed. About a 10 minute walk to the Harbor. 15 minute walk to Chinatown. 2 block walk from Blue line train. 25 minutes from Logan using public transportation($2.50) same time as a cab or Uber. Amazingly easy using shuttle & Blueline. (Just had to try it). Would certainly stay here again.

We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and I loved this. However, there was no ice bucket in the room. I took one of the pots provided from the kitchen cabinet and went in search of ice. Excellent hotel for business trip. Good location, close to everything (restaurant, T line, banks, financial district and the main park) and at the same time quiet, specially at night and weekend although be in the downtown. Good relationship between price and quality. The staff so nice and helpful.

We really enjoy our stay at CQ , this place has a wonderful location , the hotel staff is great, everyone is so friendly and professional , thanks to John for all the accommodations. He did our stay more pleasant. The hotel has free water bottles machines, free snacks , gym and best location in Boston. The rooms are a little small but good looking and very clean , we definitely recommend this place to anyone !

I was very happily received and sent off by the reception staff. The amazing check in and out times that i have never experienced over my 30 years world travel. The courtesy was amazing too. The only issue that i faced is with a cab call in. i would recommend that CQ should have an arrangement with some cab service company that would help quick transfers to and from. Cheers, Rashid Shafi

We stayed at CQ for three nights. Already tried this hotel chain in Europe and I strongly recommend. In Boston CQ is very well located in downtown, check in and out are faster than usual . Complimentary coffee, the, water fruit . Our room was located at 10 floor, some noise from outside but not so bad . In the area there is plenty choice of bars and restaurants. Metro is only 2 min walk , If coming or go to the airport is only 3 stops (blue line) .

We got 2 hotel at 1-45pm we were told our room wasn't ready but online I was given a check-in time option, but once at hotel it was a 3pm check-in, I was a little thrown off by that but we went to the restaurant next door while we waited, our concierge was very nice and had our room ready before 3, if you're timing your trip 2 get 2 Boston early, keep in mind 3pm check-in in this hotel but we would stay here againđ???

Nice warm hotel in the heart of Boston. Room service is good enough. Staff is very open and friendly. Relatevely small hotel offering good value for money. Would stay there again. Recommended for bisiness trips.

Booked a last minute stay through Priceline. Lobby was very small, hallways dark, and rooms small and not very clean. Beds poorly made, just not a comfortable hotel. I had an oversize vehicle which they could not park, closest parking was 15 minutes away. We tried to negotiate with Management, they were not helpful , downright rude. We left without staying there, will never go back. Much better options in Boston, try the Park Plaza!

Hotel placement was good. The attached Castle and Elephant pub had good food and good service. We had a Queen size room. It was clean and had the bare basics. Only real complaints were the front desk were kind of standoffish and you could only get ice on the second floor. You had to use your room key to get anywhere on the elevator. Very clean, excellent location, they had great computers and a printer available- so convenient! They supplied excellent snacks- so thoughtful! The shower was a bit of a worry- the design of the shower made the water go onto the bathroom floor. Otherwise the room was lovely.

Let me start with the pros. Purified water and empty bottles on every floor. Really nice feature. Very pleasant front desk staff. Had to take an early flight the next morning. There is a very nice serve yourself coffee latte cappuccino maker in the lobby area. Some grab and go fruit and granola bars. Computer and printer to print boarding passes. If you want to be walking distance from many of Boston's wonderful attractions, then stay here. But do not expect a clean room, do no expect good service and do not expect it to be cheap. I just spent 4 nights at the Club Quarters in Boston. About 2 nights too many. Good location downtown, but room really small and felt dingy, only room service is delivery from less than marginal pub next door, but hotel not licensed for wine so no glass to relax with. The staff was helpful, but room not well cleaned, especially hairs in bathroom which is a complete ugh and I had to ask them after the first day to clean properly. The location is excellent for central Boston. Just 5 minutes from Fanual hall etc. Rooms are spacious and good value for money. Empty bottles are provided and you can fill them with filtered water which us a nice touch. We did not have breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Carla in the reception was absolutly fantastic. She was really helpfull, and came up with lots of places we had to visit. We had the best time thanks to Carla. The facilities was also great. Everything was cleaned every day and the hotel is very close to everything. Its definetly worth it. Go go go! :D

My girlfriend and I stayed in Boston for a concert and the hotel location was perfect. The metro was right next to the hotel. The front desk rep, Shawn gave us wonderful recommendations throughout the city. I will definitely suggest this location for a short stay in the city

This was one of the few places available near a symposium on a wharf. You would think $275 a night would be absurd for most places, but this is actually not too bad in downtown Boston. Room was pretty small. but had most of the necessities, at least once you finished hiking to track down everything from the only ice available on a different floor and an iron in a hall closet down the hall. While my experience was just fine, it appeared the hotel was in need of refurbishment - it's been said that hotels must do this after 7 years or so - here stands CQ. Things looked worn, tired, the bed was caved in on one side. Clean but tired.

My stay at the club quarters hotel was nothing but perfect! It was really the best experience I have ever had. The staff was amazing, especially Carla who was just the greatest, helping out with places to go on my birthday, best place to eat with an allergy, really professional and just happy and smiling. I would like to say thanks to the CQ staff member Sabine. For the food recommendations :) and suggestions to have fun in the city. Everything is close to this place so no need for a car. This is our recommended hotel for business travel to Boston because the rate is lower than most hotels in the area. This hotel is just plain bad. Bathroom is so tiny your leg touches the toilet when you use the sink. The shower is so small you cannot turn around. The fitness room is on the second floor and is not 24 hours. The staff is constantly in there asking you to be quiet. The maid left a dirty rag that was used for cleaning on the floor in my room. Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere.

This is the best hotel location in Boston, in my humble opinion:) You can walk literally anywhere from here! Like I walked from South Station here, saved me some money - it was the first time when in Boston I didn't use the T. Saved, so took a taxi to the airport: 10 minutes' ride from the hotel, by the way! Oh, and I arrived early - the staff went out of its way to accomodate me earlier. Thank you!

Great location near Quincy market and harbour. The staff were generally very friendly and the club room is nice. Our first short stay was not good, we suffered from a lot of noise from our neighbours as the walls are paper thin. Our second stay a few days later was fine. On our first stay the bathroom wasn't clean but again it was better on the second stay.

What I like the most about this hotel is the friendly and courteous staff. Always there to help. Carlos checked me in the last time I was here and made me feel welcomed. Whenever I travel I like to be treated nicely -because you're basically paying for it. Overall this hotel is great and I must return soon.

We were in Boston for fun last weekend. We didn't know exactly which places should we go to. So we asked Carlos who was working on Saturday evening where could we go for drinks, he recommended us Serafina on High Street for cocktails then Whiskey Saigon for dancing. We went to both places and had a blast. We saw him on Sunday afternoon and told him all about it. He was an important key of our awesome weekend in Boston.

When I arrived my room wasn't ready for early check in, but the front desk staff Shawn stored my luggage and rushed a room. Great service after flying and arriving in a city early. If you're thinking about renting a car in Boston there is no need with this location. Everything is conveniently within a 20 minute radius. Though the room did not have a view for the price it was well worth it. Great job to the cleaning staff as well.

Club Quarters is excellent in friendliness and helpfulness, respectfulness of staff, in décor and cleanliness of all areas of the hotel, the accessibility and good food at the next door restaurant, the Wi-Fi and computer usage available, and the proximity to Boston landmarks, shopping and eateries as well as transportation lines.
