"We were comfortable and overall pleased. The frontdesk people were friendly and helpful. The maids missed a few things. We left a towel on the floor to be replaced but it was still on the floor after cleaning. The room was overall clean but there is a unit built into the wall in the bathroom that had a grill that was coated in dirt. It would need special attention. The breakfast was nice - everything was fresh. I was disappointed that the artwork seen on line was no longer there but I understand. We expect to be back."

"We choose the Boston Common Hotel because it was in an encellent location. The location is the only aspect that was great about our experience at this hotel.

The staff is not friendly; seems they have better things to do then to help the customers. They also seem to not know what is going on. We called the front desk to ask if they have 'HBO' in the rooms and they said no, 'only basic cable'. But, we later found out that yes, there was HBO in our room.

The room was very outdated. For the price we paid, we would at least expect a clean shower (there was mold) and updated appliances (such as the T.V.).

The continental breakfast was a joke. Stale bagels, some cereal, pasteries, coffee and juice. We wished we would have just paid to go eat out.

If you are looking for a hotel with a great location to all of the Boston attractions but are not expecting much, then I would go here but do not stay here if you are expecting more than a 2 star hotel."

"Very convenient location. Right around corner from T stop, Copley and Back Bay shops. Hotel is a bit hard to find and a little run down, but overall a good value for the money. Desk staff were very nice and helpful."

"This hotel was excellent value for money. The staff extremely helpful,and friendly. The room was older but in generally good condition. The hotel was very quite even though it was a week-end. Highly recommended."
