I have been traveling on business for 15 years and never before has a housekeeper knocked on my door to see if I needed my room done and when I told her I wasn't checking out until later, she actually offered to get me a cup of coffee!! Her name was Gentiana and I am sending a shout out to her for her amazing service....Way to go Gentiana!!

Chose the Doubletree so we could easily walk from Back Bay station (Amtrak). Nice 10 minute walk through nice neighborhood. Hotel very close to Boston Commons. Room was clean, service was excellent. Breakfast (upgraded to hot buffet for $5) was good. Front desk was excellent, friendly and helpful. No issues to report. Doubletree helped make this an easy and fun trip.

Great experience would recommend to anyone. The price for Boston was great, the rooms were very nice, the pillows and beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The location was perfect for a hospital stay being right across the street from Tufts. I used it before the procedure as well as after the staff were all amazing.

We stayed here for 2 days, we love the location which is a walk away from station and 10min to china town (many foods) and 15min walk to the city central and the parks. Breakfast is very nice, staffs are friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

I stay at Hilton Hotels for the simple reason that they provide you clean, comfortable luxury accommodations at a fair price. The double tree is no difference, right next to a train station to provide easy access to the city or short uber rides anywhere due to the location of the hotel. The rooms where spacious with all the amenities as expected from a Hilton hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the heating and cooling system works brilliantly. Staff are super friendly and helpful and c... Read more

Good central location - near Chinatown and city centre. Handy metro stop next door. Booked on Expedia with flights and got a great deal. Staff very responsive and helpful. No fridge in my room and room lighting a bit dim which is quite common nowadays in many hotels. Very clean and comfortable, though lower front facing room a bit noisy.

Great for a week-long stay. Loved the free stream of cookies from the front desk. Nothing exceptional, but nothing bad either. Disappointing that there's no pool/gym immediately on-site (the YMCA is next door), and the mini-fridge looked like it had just been thrown into a corner.

Stayed there last week while visiting from Nashville. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and checked regularly to see if everything was OK and if I needed anything. They serve a good breakfast and I got excellent friendly and professional service from Cara the server. I will definitely stay there again the next time I am in Boston.

As a consistent Diamond (the highest) elite member, I??ve been a highly loyal customer to Hilton and always choose to stay at Hilton properties wherever I go both for business or pleasure across the globe (US, Europe, Asia) in the past several years. Hilton has consistently delivered satisfactory services to me. However, my most recent stay at Doubletree By Hilton Boston Downtown during November 18-21 is by far the worst experience I??ve ever had at any hotel (not just Hilton), hands down. Ru... Read more

We were up all night with rambunctious noise from the neighboring nightclub. The front desk was ambivalent about helping us at 2AM. I don't care to waste any more time writing this review. Fellow travelers: avoid this hotel.
