Stayed at Doubletree for 3 days and 2 nights to attend my brother's graduation. They have several conference rooms, a small bar, a huge lobby and a fitness center. We got the (junior) suite and I think it was quite spacious for 3 people. Our room was 632. It has a mini living room with TV, mini office desk and chair as well as a small closet; mini bar with of course the mini fridge, coffee, water and microwave; a common bathroom with hot and cold water, bathtub, towels and toilettries; a spacio... Highly Recommend for staff and location. Starbucks located in lobby. Staff was extremely knowledgable about local area and it made a great difference in the high quality of our stay. Very close to the subway. A little noisy even on the 5th floor, but it is a city, so it is somewhat to be expected.

The staff was great, Maria at the desk and Yves in particular. the room was clean and we slept well. Free warm cookies were a treat and water as well. A nice base to enjoy Boston. Convenient to the T and a Starbucks at hand. Food was good as well.

We slept well and the room was clean, but the expectation is that everything should be impeccable given the price. We started off on the wrong foot at midnight calling the hotel to find out transportation options from the airport. The clerk said take a cab or the bus and hung up without being helpful at all. We had internet connectivity and speed issues that required front desk assistance throughout a 5 night stay. Computers in lobby can't seem to complete a Google Map search. Visit was cap... Read more

The hotel was okay, but I wouldn't spend $360+ for the quality of service and location. For the same amount of money, You can find better places to stay in better areas of Boston. The windows of the room have never been cleaned for months.

Lovely hotel centrally located to lots of activities within walking distance in downtown Boston. Right near the theatre district, and Chinatown. Also, next to a subway station, in case you want to venture to Harvard, or Fenway Park to catch a Red Sox game. Newly renovated, updated rooms. Very modern, and comfortable. Friendly staff.

Very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were nice and comfy. Our room was ready early. Since I was a Hilton Honors member was able to pick my room the night before we arrived. Great location. Near many restaurants and attractions. Only complaint ice machine didn't work on the 4th floor.

Spent the night after out patient surgery across the street. No food for 24 hrs and limited ability to go out. Hit the hotel's restaurant where just two tables were occupied. Waited forever to be waited on and when the young lady arrived, " are you ready to order?" No greeting, no beverage or appetizer offer, just "are you ready to order". Come on? High rates in Boston and lousy restaurant service? Won't be staying here again, plenty around the hospital for future visits

Stayed here with some friends on a Friday night to explore the area. We found the hotel to be very cramped and not in the best of location given the price. The hotel is attached to the YMCA and medical center. Half the walls share the old YMCA infrastructure with large cement walls. The rooms with two double beds are very cramped and with limited space to move around. Customer service, however was great and the warm cookies on arrival were a nice surprise. Would not be a bad place to stay if it ... Read more

Only after we went down to ask about room internet access did they say it was $10 /nite unless we were HH members. When we stated we had been, why did they not renew our account, only then did they reissue an account to us, and give is the password for the WiFi. This hotel is very conveniently located. Granted, it is across the street from a hospital, so there are a lot (a LOT) of sirens, but once you get your music going, it helps you to get around it. Within walking distance to many restaurants, China Town, and of course all of the historic sites. Boston is a walking town. The restaurant at the hotel was good. I ate there twice, and was pleased with the variety and the quality.

Hotel still needs to be upgraded. Bathtub used for shower not a great idea, very slippery. Overall decent location with the Orange Line convenient. The people were great and the service was great. The tv connection was problematic but the free internet was nice with just a few issues. One suggestion would be to make people more aware of the "Y" exercise facility- it was very nice. We would stay there again for the right price.

This is primarily a business person hotel, located next to the Tufts Medical facilities. It is right next to a T station on the Orange Line, and next to Chinatown. The hotel offers the basic Hilton Double Tree facility, bar, lobby, conference rooms, breakfast buffet, etc. The rooms are small. Ours had two double beds and one sitting chair with just enough space to walk around them. The bathroom had a great shower with lots of hot water and fluffy towels. Great comfortable place with good facilities, in an excellent location in the theatre district, handy for the T, a bit too handy for Tufts hospital, and great for restaurants, Freedom Trail, the sights etc.bedrooms large and acceptable, with all the usual things working. We asked to stay on the Non Hospital side, and had very quiet courtyard - facing rooms. Brekkie as usual with Hilton, a highlight. Didn't do dinner, too much else to eat in the City

It is pretty nice to come back to a hotel like this and see familiar faces that give you a genuine, warm, greeting and provide a comfortable stay in what is an undeniably bustling part of town. What's nice is that, in an era when hotels make a lot of personnel changes, this one seems to retain many of the same people that "get" what hospitality really means and that comprehend that WE, the paying customer, are the reason they are keeping their hotel full and them employed. Thank you, people of t... Read more

The staff was wonderful and the location was great and easy to get to. I read some reviews about hearing sirens from the hospital which made me pretty nervous. We didn't have any issues with hearing sirens. We stayed in room 531 which is a king suite. The living area was perfect and loved that the bathroom was a jack and Jill between the living and bed rooms. The pull out couch has an actual mattress not a pull out couch mattress which is typically very thin. We were very comfortable!

What's more fun then hearing the car alarms from a parking garage going off ALL night long?? Listening to the people coming back to their cars, reving their engines and making all kinds of racket at bar closing time... even with a police car parked in the lot. This went on both Friday night and even worse on Saturday night. It seems that Valet Parking attendants like to use the alarm feature on the key rings to more quickly find cars parked in the garage. Hotel staff was excellent, hotel is nice and location is very convenient. Only negative is that we were woken up both nights at 1am with loud crowds of people hanging out in the parking lot and parking garage next to the hotel. Noise continued until 3-3:30am. Staff said this is typical when the clubs let out and they call the police a lot but it takes a while to clear out the crowds. We were on the 6th floor and it was very loud. This is the only negative to this hotel.

I had never stayed in Boston and was there for a business meeting. I like sports and walked one block to an awesome sports bar, and the food was good. Everyone treated me as though I was important. Though I was there for business, this facility made me feel like it was a vacation.
