The hotel and staff are great. The staff are friendly and the hotel rooms are nice. But I do have to say that it is located in a remote area, far from restaurants that are above 1 star. The food served for breakfast and evening social are absolutely horrible...and that's the nicest way I can put it. Seriously inedible stuff that leaves you baffled how it's even placed out for human consumption. Sorry, but that was my experience

Nice property for tourists with a location central to Lexington, Concord and Salem. Other Hilton properties (Hampton Inn and Doubletree) are close by, but I chose the Homewood Suites for this trip because we could get a suite for the same number of points (30,000) as needed for a regular room at the Hampton Inn. Morning breakfasts were diverse and plentiful, and service was not a problem even though the property was almost fully occupied while we were there. Homewood Suites cater to busines... Read more

The trip was prompted by some work done to the house and we really didn't want to go into Boston and pay $700 a night. Since, Hilton has been a great brand of late, went with the Homewood Suites. To be fair, the rate was very inexpensive based upon their HHonors promotion. On the other hand, the hotel needs some work. When we checked in, the room (first floor) was practically a sauna because the air conditioner wasn't working. Then, we were switched to another room, which was fine, but really ne... Read more

We were looking for a fairly priced hotel for 2 nights on Memorial Day weekend with easy access to highways, Boston, Newton and Waltham. Boston is a very expensive area - happily, we stayed here. Our suite on the 3rd floor was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked fine. Front desk staff were very helpful. Room was very comfortable, separate sitting area with doors that closed off the sleeping area was very nice if you wanted to stay up late or get up early & not disturb fellow traveler. We were on our way to Maine and booked a suite with two separate rooms for an overnight stay. The hotel called us one day earlier that the suite had some water damage so they replaced our suite with two different rooms at no extra charge. The rooms were clean and had good amenities. The breakfast area was very nice, unlike the run-of-the-mill places in other hotels. Overall very good overnight stay.

Our family (2 adults and 4 school-age kids) spent one night in this hotel on our way from northern New England to our home in the Mid-Atlantic. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. Two reasons for the "excellent" recommendation: our room was at the end of the hall (so a little less concern on our part of the kids making noise) and the fact that bedroom #2 had two double beds (so we did not need to use the sleeper sofa). Easy access to Rt 3 and 95.

I am staying here for a 4 day conference in the hotel. Customer service is almost nonexistent here. As a guest, I have had to argue for everything including my reservation. I have had to wait in line while I watched the staff argue with other guests. (Confrontation is not relaxing!) I have discussed this with the property manager, yet have seen almost no improvement. The staff, primarily the front desk staff, is antagonistic and not helpful. For example, my group asked for a shuttle ride on nigh... Read more

We have stayed at this hotel 6 times in a year our son is in the service stationed near by owns a home down the street so we come for birthdays of our grandchildren. We have always had a wonderfully clean suite and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint would be that the pool is always very cold for a heated pool and the wifi doesn't work as well to connect. But we always have a great stay and is super easy to visit family.

A really nice hotel. Great quiet location set back from the roads. Very nice front desk staff. Comfortable and spacious suites. nice mattress, lots of outlets. And a managers reception on Tues - Thur evenings. Price was reasonable as compared to other area hotels. Not too far from highway 3, and several restaurants nearby, one within walking distance.

First, the desk receptionist could not understand that I needed to change the credit card for my reservation, which was made by my daughter. When I asked to put my room in my name, she had issues with it...seems pretty straightforward and I have done it many times before. The room was my biggest complaint. Here are the problems I found: 1. leftover roll of toilet paper from the previous guest. Every hotel I have entered always replaces them. It's a hygiene thing. 2. Hair found in the ext... Read more

We stayed for two nights in October. The room was nice and large in size. Our room was on the third floor right next to the elevator but we didn't hear any noises. I am a Hilton Honors Member so I took advantage of the check in online the night before and I chose my room. When I arrived at the hotel at 2pm I went to the desk and explained all of that. I asked if by any chance the room I had chosen was ready. The very rude clerk didn't even look at the computer to see. She just responded that... Read more

Had a wonderful time the weather could of been better. The hotel property and service were great. The room was very well clean and comfortable. One thing needs to be upgraded is the sofa bed. The mattress was very thin and not comfortable for an adult but for a small child it is not so bad.

We recently stayed here while on our vacation to New England. Homewood Suites is our preferred hotel when visiting a city for multiple nights and we were not disappointed. Plenty of room to spread out and relax, very quiet hotel in a business park area. The only issues/problems was that after out sightseeing one day, we returned in the evening to find out room had not been cleaned for the day but after one call to the front desk, housekeeping took care of the problem. The breakfast had great var... Read more

Over all everything was good. Room was clean. Pool was warm. The breakfast was typical what you would expect. There were no problems with using the Internet. Front desk staff were helpful. We were there for 4 days and would definitely go back. If I had any suggestions it would be the halls seemed dark a little more lighting there would be nice.

Staff was friendly, only issue I had with the room was the ceiling fan had dust and fuzz hanging from it and the tub had brown crud on it under the overflow cover. The complementary breakfast was just ok nothing special.

Had a great stay here again for the 2nd time. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous. The hotel itself was very clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the complimentary breakfast. The location is not bad (It's about 25 mins from Boston) and considering the price we paid for it in Oct, it was well worth the price. I would recommend staying here.

We traveled to Lexington, MA with our 3.5 year old son to visit family and love to be able to stay in an affordable suite so that he can go to bed at his normal bed time and we don't have to turn all the lights off and pretend to be sleeping. Everything about the hotel was terrific. The staff was very friendly, the room was great and even the breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Boston for shopping. The hotel is set in beautiful countryside with trees surrounding the hotel. It is just behind the Hampton suites and opposite the Doubletree. Check in was smooth and easy and a very polite young man welcomed us and also had regular conversation with us throughout our stay. Checkout was also easy however the lady wasn't so polite and didn't even ask us if we enjoyed our stay. We had a one bedroom suite which was huge, 2 double beds w... Read more

Terrible experience with the black lady at the lobby, who pretended she did understand what I was asking or requesting. Incompetent person who besides the fact she did not put effort to understand my requests, she needed to call her Manager to find the answer. At one point, she asked me to go to her Manager's office to get my answers. I said, I am here the customer, he needs to come right here. Gold members, you need to have extreme patience with this lady.

We spent the best part of a week here recently as we wanted somewhere a short drive from Boston with easy, free parking but close enough to get to the city attractions as well as places further afield. This area housed three Hilton properties in close proximity to one another. We selected the Homewood for the convenience of a kitchen. Breakfast was quite acceptable however we chose to just have something light in the room as breakfast finished at 9am & we are late night owls. It's always good to... Read more

Booked this as we were doing a fun weekend with the grandkids. The location was great, short drive to Boston, lots of restaurants and the mall just a short distance away. The rooms were great with a pull out couch in the living room, kitchen and eating area. The breakfast that is complimentary was one of the best I have had, eggs and ham one morning and French toast and sausage another. This is my 2nd time here. It's not too far from downtown Boston without being inside of all the major city life. Plus you get a suite (2 separate rooms) with full kitchen. They also serve a good breakfast in the morning, have a small gym, and an indoor pool with small hot tub.

My family and I travelled to Boston for my dad's birthday and reserved 2 rooms. One room wasn't ready when I arrived but it was soon after. The front desk young lady was so sweet and accommodating. She was able to give myou family and rooms across from each other. I wasn't told about the evening social. The mall was just a 5 minutes ride away. I wanted to take the jitney but it was too long of a wait. All in all I had a nice time and we will be back soon.

If traveling with family the extra room, breakfast, & dinner service are ok for the price. If alone I'd reccomend staying across the street at Doubletree. The wifi is ok, but won't work if the bedroom door is closed or ceiling fan is on.

We love staying here. The staff is great! The facilities are clean, spacious, and pleasant. We often stay over holiday periods and are always asked to forgo room cleaning over the big holidays... Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Since the maids are not being paid to take the holiday off, I RESENT being asked to forgo room cleaning. It is presented as a courtesy to the staff, "to give them time with their families"..... when actually these hardworking individuals are losing a day's pay. I wou... Read more
