Broken air mattress on a piece of plywood for a bed. Extremely uncomfortable! The manager is never available & refuses to return our calls. Desk clerks unable to authorize a refund so we were charged the full amount for a sleepless night.

For the money I paid for this hotel, very disappointing bed. More hotels are now realizing bed comfort is of utmost importance. Too bad this hotel is still not taking this seriously. The bed had serious problems. I sunk when I got into bed and I'm not a heavy person.

This hotel is at a great location, it is very close to highway 301. It's a very nice hotel, with nice friendly staff, a great bed mattress, and it is very clean, and nicely quite. There are restaurants very close by, and a Walmart just 2 miles away.

Whenever I go to Waldorf, MD to visit relatives, I stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. It's a very nice hotel and the price is very reasonable. It has one of the best lobbies I've seen. The location of the hotel is convenient to all the malls, restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel. And, if your a government employee, you'll get a discount. That's always good.

This is overall a nice hotel. It is well kept throughout with a very friendly staff. There was an issue with the keys. We had to have our keys reset 4 times. There was also an odor in the water. We initially smelled it in the jacuzzi and then in our shower on the last day. Outside of that it was a nice stay.

New hotel with a spacious, nicely appointed room. Large cheerful lobby with cookie bars and water tanks with cucumbers or fruit in it in the evening. Convenient to 301 (hopefully I got that number right as I was looking for a place to stop on the trip home to avoid rush hour traffic in the greater DC area) and located next to a small park area with a little pond where you can stretch your legs after being in the car a little too long. There also three restaurants within easy walking distance. Ke... Read more

Ok...I requested early check in (2 pm) but when I arrived I was told check in is 3 so I rode over to Charles town center to purchase shoes...I returned to the hotel at 3:15 pm and they still didn't have a room ready for me....the receptionist located a room almost ready or just needing the duvet and assisted another hotel employee with that....I guess they were not ready for a wedding party to check into about 10 rooms by 3 pm on a Friday.

Generally, this hotel has been above average until our recent stay. Our room was not cleaned daily, the bed was barely made; and the bed was very noisy. In fact it felt as though it was broken down the middle. We were very disappointed!

I'm not a big HGI fan, but my company has this as their "preferred" hotel, so this is where I normally have to stay when I'm on company travel. The positives: The hotel itself is a very nice hotel, situated in one of the better parts of Waldorf. The lobby area was clean and bright and the front desk staff were very courteous and attentive. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, however the one (and only) time I had dinner on site it was so-so. The evening waitress seemed more interested in he... Read more

We needed an overnight stay while traveling home and chose this property. The entry lobby was very welcoming. It is sleek yet comfortable and visually appealing. Cleanliness has not been overlooked either. Every staff member we met was warm and friendly but at the same time not trying to be our new best friend. The hot breakfast was everything you would want it be. The management of this property has their act together. Well done.

The food service was poor even though the food was flavorful. The rooms were comfortable and the front desk receptionists were friendly and professional. The banquet room was to small for our (family reunion) family banquet and having the staff serve the food for a buffet style dinner was not a good idea.

I must say that this was the worst hotel I have ever stepped in. In simple words it was disgusting to expect Hilton Garden Inn to be in this state. Examples: carpet had several big spots of things spilled on it, walls had so many stains, air conditioner vent was horrible as things were hanging on it, smell in room was bad as you can't stand there for 5 mins, the mattress was broken. We could not stay there and had to leave the hotel soon after arrival.

We stayed here twice, both for Spartacon. The hotel is average. Good for a couple of nights stay. Staff is friendly. A couple of little things missed in the cleaning of our room, but nothing major.
