Recently, our family of eight visited Historic Kent Manor Inn for Sunday Bruch. The property is gorgeous. We were seated in a room with a woodburning fireplace. The brunch will fulfill anyone's desire for variety. There are breakfast to dinner items. Loved the made to order omelets and carved beef. You have to take small portions to be able sample all items. The desserts are decadent! Everyone loved the service, food and atmosphere. We are all looking forward to a return visit very soon.

My wife and I love staying at historic B&Bs, and this particular place is not as cozy as some smaller, privately run places (Kent Manor is run by a holding company and it caters mostly to corporate/group clients) but it's the Sunday breakfast and (later) brunch that makes it memorable. Very good food, a cut above the average B&B. Our bedroom was small and a bit dark, but the bed was very comfortable. Stevensville generally suffers from a dearth of interesting things to see and do, but several go... Read more

The Kent Manor Inn was the site my daughter chose to have her wedding. It was April 1st so even though she wanted it outside, Ashley (Director of Events) had a contingency plan. From the night before, the day of and the day after, they were absolutely the best. Every question I had was answered and the staff was top notch. I highly recommend the Kent Manor Inn if you are planning a wedding or some type of event.

For your first trip I suggest you check out groupon for a nice little discount for 2. The house is neat and historical so it makes for an interesting experience. Staff is overall friendly and the food is pretty good overall too. If you would like to make a future stop in to dine again they have a keychain discount card you can buy for about $10.00 I believe. This will get you the same discount as the groupon did. I would say it's worth at least one visit.

Very disappoibting customer service. Booked rooms for a family wedding tomorrow. Handicapped father of the bride was put in a room on the 3rd floor with no elevator. When we mentioned we were basically told oh well and he had to painfully climb the stairs. Our room is on the 3rd floor, room 303, as well and has dormered ceilings. My 6'6" husband can't stand up straight in the room or in the shower. The woman we checked us in saw this and said "well find someone on the second floor to switch r... Read more

We had an excellent Groupon whereby we went for their Sunday buffet and got two two for the price of one. You really should make reservations about 2 weeks in advance so you can get the time you want. I called 2 days in advance and they squeezed us in for a 1:30 seating. Since we did not know what traffic would be like on the Bay Bridge we ended up getting there at about 1:00 and they were able to seat us by 1:10. Very accommodating staff. All seating has a lovely view of the grounds. The usual ... Read more

Very briefly: Comfortable and clean room with understated elegance of days gone by Excellent breakfast buffet but I do not know if this is included with the standard room. The Compressor on my Air conditioner was very loud and there are Squeaky floorboards everywhere.

I attended my sister's wedding here a few months ago, it was fantastic. Everything went smoothly, I was in the wedding party and had a good view of all of the whole planning process as well. Everybody had a great time, the coordinators did wonders moving everyone where they had to be according to their time line. Dinner was fantastic, it was buffet style with salmon and steak, both were delicious. We had so much fun down at the fire pit after the reception, we were so happy we had a room booked ... Read more

Stumbled on this place and rented two rooms at the last minute. The manager was a delight, as was the staff in the morning. The grounds are so picturesque! Giant scavenger birds hang out like it's no big deal. Shocking and thrilling to see a bird as big as your child up close in a yard. We used the bikes a ton. My kids ate hundreds of the free cookies. The sunset from the tower/widows walk area was gorgeous. Reading all of the autographs/graffiti in that room gave a great sense of histor... Read more

This morning, my husband and I went to the Historic Kent Manor Inn for their champagne breakfast buffet. Although we've lived in Maryland for our entire lives, we've never visited the Kent Manor Inn before and did not know what to expect. Close by the Chesapeake Bay, the mansion sits amid 220 acres of manicured grounds and the impressive mansion can be found at the end of a long, winding drive. Built in the 1800's, the imposing house is surrounded by lush gardens, with rows of old boxwood hug... Read more

Had a long weekend mini-family reunion here and really enjoyed the house and grounds. Large and charming rooms -- one with extra room for kids, one next door to entrance to "the tower," and one long and narrow with two beds. This is a unique property so be prepared for delights, but also lots of stairs and non-standard rooms. We had a wonderful time on the grounds: we made s'mores over the fire one night and used the kayaks twice (once we had to wait while other guests brought them back). We enj... Read more

Kent Manor Inn is lovely. One is taken back to another era and to walk through the house only causes you to wonder how many stories it could tell. The staff is delightful and go out of their way to be helpful. The food is delicious and homemade. Everything is sparkling clean. The grounds are well kept and the water view is lovely. There are bikes and kayaks available for use at no cost. Parking is free. Such a wonderful retreat.

Somehow my husband and I managed to get a night to ourselves without our kids and we ended up at the Kent Manor Inn. I wanted to stay somewhere quaint and this inn really fit the bill. We loved the historic charm of the room, squeaky floor boards and alll. The bathroom was updated, yet still kept some of the same old-fashioned feel of the rest of the room. The yards around the inn were very nice and they even have a boat dock you can sit on. We also enjoyed relaxing on the porch outside of our r... Read more

The "Inn" may be nice. Certainly looked nice from the outside. We were there for a large meeting with over 200 people. They put us in the building behind it.The room was nice enough in regards to the overall layout and appearance. However, they have huge floor to ceiling windows Pretty but not good for sunny days in the summer. By 1pm the room was in the 80's. that's crazy. The A/C was clearly undersized. What made it worse was the windows had no blinds or curtains that could have been closed. S... Read more

Came for a wedding and stayed at the Kent Manor Inn. With the higher priced room price we paid, I was expecting much more. From a distance the outside looks promising but not so great up close and once inside. Shabby and run down comes to mind. Found out that the place is going to auction. Hope new owners can fix the hotel.
