Very good location in downtown Silver Spring. The room was vast and comfortable. Very good maintenance. Nice lobby with ok breakfast. Very good parking lot which is free during the nights and during the weekends. Some noise from adjacent rooms while they take shower. Free WiFi.

Unusual hotel. You don't enter by the address given on the website. You drive around the corner to the parking garage on Wayne Ave and go up to the 5th floor. From there you cross an open foot bridge to the lobby of the hotel. You don't see that a lot. That said the place seems a little old - furnishings and decorations, etc but it is very clean and well maintained. The staff is absolutely outstanding. I dealt with at least 5 different people at the front desk and they couldn't be more friendly ... Read more

Downtown Silver Spring; five minute walk to the Metro, adjacent parking garage with access directly to hotel. Lovely restaurant area behind the hotel -- several options. Take the garage bridge and walk to the opposite corner of the garage; elevator to ground floor and shops and restaurants right there. That said, no hairdryers in room, tattered or damaged curtains/drapes, no complimentary water (although there is a refrigerator). CVS/Whole Foods across the street. Construction and street no... I stayed at this property for 2 nights on a quick business trip. The hotel was clean and right in the heart of downtown Silver Spring. The room was clean and spacious. They had some food and drink options available for purchase in the lobby, I only got coffee in the mornings, but it was Starbucks so that was definitely a plus. I would recommend this property and stay here again.?

Right in the middle of the vital downtown area, this hotel is convenient to movie theaters, shops, restaurants, a vibrant street life, and a short walk to the Red Line on the DC Metro system, which takes you right to downtown Washington, DC. Its lobby entrance is accessible from the 5th floor of the Wayne Street Parking garage, which is very convenient on the weekends, when there is no charge for parking. There is no parking validation if you leave during business hours on a week day, however. T... Read more

The A/C in my condo building went out a few days ago. With it being a holiday weekend, we were told a technician wouldn't be able to repair it until Tuesday. I tried to book a room Saturday, but there were no rooms available. The front desk agent, Nii, kindly took my cell phone number and said he would call if there were any cancellations. I was able to book a room for Sunday night using my Marriott Rewards Points. We arrived on Sunday, May 30, at 2:00 PM and checked into our room, thankful t... Read more

I stayed here for two nights recently. At the reception initially they could not find my reservation it took some time to sort this out. Other than this I did not have any complaints about the room. It is located in the downtown area so accessible to everything.

Stayed here due to a last minute change in plans. This hotel is located in downtown silver spring. Great options if you need the location, connected public parking garage nearby restaurants and real gym access. I was assigned a room that had a Jacuzzi tub which was nice. Although I didn't use it, it is rare these days. Wifi is free and is fairly good. I don't have much to share here due to such a brief stay. Located in the heart of Silver Spring, MD this chain hotel is consistent with the quality of a Marriott with exceptional service. An added plus is free access to the Washington Sports Club adjacent to the hotel (actually accessed through the hotel elevator). I selected this location because of its proximity to the Red Line on the metro. A short 2 1/2 block walk and you are connected to the entire DC area with little additional effort. Only 22 minutes or so from the Metro stop. Lots of local... Read more

The hotel is nice for a 3 star hotel. My room was clean, the staff was friendly, the airconditioner was noisy but ok. Be aware of asking the desk staff to call you a taxi to the airport. I had an early morning flight and requested a taxi and was shocked to see the hotel desk staff had requested a limo to the airport at a charge of $85.00. This felt like a scam. I would call my own taxi if I ever stayed at the hotel again. Not a lot of hotel choices in the area.

The Starbucks in the lobby is a plus. But the best part is the workout room. Right elevator, second floor is a workout room bigger than any other gym you have visited. Truly awesome. Head down the stairs to get a towel. Walk to restaurants. Parking is in the garage, but one you are there this place is well done.

Stayed two nights amazing location. Lots of restaurants and street scene to keep you busy. Whole foods across the street. Live street music down the street. Very easy to get to DC or VA on 495. Hotel itself is a bit dated. They really need to do something about the AC unit which is basically a window unit and is incredibly loud. Exit to the street is also a bit awkward as there is only one elevator that has a feel of a service elevator not an intl hotel.

Wanted to stay at this hotel. Price was good for Friday and Sat. Then price shot up 45 DOLLARS on Sunday. Called hotel They could not help> Called Marriott They could not help Found another place further out. While on phone price went up on Silver Spring. So got off phone and booked another hotel at much better price.

Why did i give it a 4 rating and not a 5? this hotel has a great staff! welcoming and very helpful, the public areas were extremely inviting! the rooms were very big and roomy. The hotel is in a very central area- the only problem was that our air conditioner was so loud i couldn't sleep but to be fair when i told the reception in the morning they told me they would fix it - i know they would. we left that day so i don't know what happened .. so all in all this is a great business hotel.

Happy with our choice and will probably stay again. Like the self park option that is free on the weekend which is very unusual in the this area. Room was well appointed, AC unit was loud but did not keep me up. Staff was very nice at check in and out.

The rooms are showing some wear; there was some rust around the tub facet and the walls were scuffed and had spots. The carpet had several stains. The mattress was just foam and not in good condition in that the trim was coming off. The towels and sheets were shabby. Daily housekeeping was fine. The gym access to the Washington Sports club was great. The location in downtown Silver Spring is hard to beat. Still I'm not sure I would stay here again since it wasn't a really comfortable expe... My confirmation stated the charge for my government rate stay would be $174 per night including breakfast. I used that amount for my trip request. When I checked in they said breakfast was NOT included and when I checked out, the rate on the bill was $222 per night. I showed the staff the confirmation and was told they were not obligated to send me a note of the change, it was an acceptable change with the government system. I stayed at the Courtyard for one night and had a very pleasant stay. My first room smelled of cigarette smoke as soon as I walked in and when I called the front desk to confirm that it was a non-smoking room, he assured me that the entire hotel is non-smoking. Great location! Love the easy walk from Red line metro. And love that it is so easy to walk to restaurants, Whole Foods, Starbucks, etc. Great place to stay without a car! But seriously--1970s room air conditioners that sound like a jet engine taking off in the corner of every room! I had to turn it off and literally sweat through the night to get any sleep. The hotel itself was fine but my wife's luggage was stolen as we were checking in to this hotel and no one would help us or was even concerned about trying to find who stole it. I had asked numerous people to review their security tape within fifteen minutes of the incident but no one would even get back to me until three days later. By that time it was too late. Easy walk from the metro station. This hotel was quiet and the rooms were adequate. The entrance is on the 3rd floor, so go through the door off Fenton St. and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. The elevator is slow and can only go between 1 and 3. You must use your key to go up the elevator to the rooms. With your stay, you can use the fitness center on the 1st and 2nd floor.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews on TripAdviser and I have to say that the reviews were accurate. The hotel was clean, in a great area, and provided good amenities, such as having a Washington Sports Club on the 2nd Floor. Stayed in this hotel on a business trip. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well equipped. It was ideally located for moving around the town which gave good access to the local eateries. Breakfast in the morning was good and freshly good. The staff were o.k. but you felt as if you were interrupting their social life when asking a question. I really liked the Marriott Courtyard in Silver Spring, Maryland because of how clean the environmental area really is. The front desk receptionist has been very professional and respectful towards me. The prices are very affordable at $129 per night is a great way to get a good night's rest and, etc. I would truly recommend this to anyone who wants great quality.

We stayed at this hotel for a soccer tournament and were greatly surprised. The location of this hotel was great with walking distance from many good restaurants and a shopping center. It was in the city center of Silver Springs. The rooms were nothing special but the hotel had a welcoming lobby with great collaboration spaces. This hotel was way better than other Marriot hotels we've been to.
