The location is great if you love the boardwalk. The beach is wider at this point, so it is a further walk to the water. We were in the side building. You do have a sideview of the ocean. The rooms could definitely use some updating; they get a lot of use! I wish they were queen beds instead of doubles. I do like that this hotel has an outdoor as well as indoor pool. Breakfast is definitely a plus!

The booking process was easy and the staff was friendly. The location was exactly what we were looking for directly on the beach. The breakfast was not what we expected as it felt repetitive and bland. The eggs were runny and the bread was stale. We also hated the fact that they only had one small elavator which sounded like it needed fixing. The rooms were decent and clean. The water pressure in the shower was a big issue. Also the shower head was dirty and broken. Overall our stay was ok.

We stayed for one night, good location and a good price. Booked through Priceline. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was nice, great location for walking on the boardwalk. Offered breakfast buffet, but we did not try it. Having an efficiency is nice, we didn't need it this time but will consider staying again.

We've stayed here before and booked it again for the spring car show. The hotel is so clean. Our room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom was well stocked daily. And I would have loved to have brought home a half dozen of those wonderful bath towels!! Soft and plush! Complimentary breakfast was hot and plentiful with a nice amount of choices. My only downer to our stay was that the man in the room next to ours was constantly smoking on his balcony and I couldn't even go outside to watch ... Read more

Friendly service and clean rooms. Breakfast was included which was good. Could have liked some fresh fruit but the offerings were just fine. Easy access to boardwalk. Beds were comfy but a bit small. Full size beds and a bit short in length if you are tall. Nice pool and decking overlooking the beach. To save a bit on the room charge, you may want to opt for the rooms in the back. Just as nice and you do get a small ocean view.

My family and I booked 2 rooms at the Comfort Inn Boardwalk for 1 night. We had a city view room in the back building but there was still a side view of the ocean. My usual go to hotel in Ocean City is the Holiday Inn on 17th street but they had a 2-night minimum and we were only looking to spend one night. The Comfort Inn on the Boardwalk is a good option for someone on a budget. The location on the boardwalk can't be beat. There's a small outdoor pool, but the water was too cold for us to use ... The location is great. Close to the inlet and you can see the pier from the room. Since it's right next to the Kite Loft, which puts out kites daily, it made for an easy landmark to find our spot on the beach. It's pretty easy to get to 50 and to the other end of O.C. from the hotel. Surprisingly even with a boardwalk/ocean front room it was still quiet for sleeping. We turned on the A/C for additional white noise and heard virtually no noise. The hotel is a bit dated but it's clean. The room ... Read more

It's what you'd expect from a heavily visited hotel over the years. Dated, but I found it clean by average standards. The guy sleeping in the stairwell when I was packing up my truck Sunday morning whom I hit with the door was a tad alarming. I needed an extra set of sheets for the sofa bed. The sofa bed was sanitary and the staff quickly sent up a full compliment of bedding. Extra parking which we had to use was just around the corner, and there were ample spots. Slightly inconvenient but expe... Read more

The hotel could use some remodeling. Rooms were clean, but nothing sets this hotel apart from any other boardwalk hotel. A very average stay, leaving me underwhelmed. The indoor and outdoor pools are very small, but the proximity to the beach was convenient.

Booked a room back in February and talked to Fred. Fred was very accommodating and assured me he would honor a room request. When I arrived this past weekend, not only was Fred the staff member who took care of my arrival, he was true to his word and had honored my request. My stay at the hotel was very enjoyable and the staff including Chris, who I believe is the manager and others were very friendly and hotel was kept in great condition. Every employee that we encountered at this hotel was very friendly. The location of the hotel can't be beat. It is located on the boardwalk. There are two buildings. One of the buildings is on the side street but you are still basically on the boardwalk. In the building that is on the boardwalk, a few of the rooms face the side and the majority of the others face the boardwalk. We had a room facing the side, but you could still see the beach and it was quieter. There is a free breakfast... Read more

Ample supply of towels, housekeeping was great and very friendly! Hot breakfast good, kept well-stocked. Quiet place to rest, right on the boardwalk. We booked a King Room for our 2-night stay and were very pleasantly surprised that even though we didn't pay $$$ for an Oceanfront room, we had a decent view of the beach and boardwalk from our balcony. Our room was on the 4th floor adjacent to the stairwell, which was perfect for us and our 5-year-old - a few flights of steps and you're on the Boardwalk. The only reason that I am not giving this a 5 star is cause this hotel has been here for a long time and the rooms show a little ware on them, as all older hotels show and the fact the the rooms have 2 double beds. The front desk staff is very nice and friendly. They will help you with any crazy question you might have. Good location and plenty of parking is what is good about this hotel. The rest is just average especially for a comfort inn. The breakfast area is really small and crowded, the building and room wasn't that clean. The pool is small but wasn't crowded and my kids loved it. The location is next to a kite shop that fly's some pretty big kites so its easy to find on the beach. It's on the board walk and they have a shower next to the entrance to wash the sand off before you enter.

We arrived to a very friendly staff. Once we got to our room a lot was left to be desired. It was not cleaned properly at all. I thought I made a mistake picking this hotel. However, Chris and Fred at the front desk and 2 housekeepers (one named Marie, and another lady, I didn't get her name) worked endlessly to correct the situation. This was rated as a very good, 8 out of 10, 2-1/2 star, lodging. In my opinion, it is an average, 7 out of 10, 2 star hotel. (The bar is apparently lower for hotels in ocmd.) Very slow elevator, stairways need attention, rooms and hallways are dark and depressing, everything is brown and tan. Renovating with brighter colors would help a lot. Great location but that's mostly what you are being charged for.

nice room though mattress a bit soft, love the kitchenette, couch and large room, nice balcony. Was amazed by the good breakfast--yogurt, make your own waffles (two kinds of batter), scrambled eggs, fruit, sausage, several juices, cereals, muffins, English muffins, bagels, Wow! Really nice location. My husband loved being near the elevator but not hearing it at all. Air conditioner noisy and blew air right at bed, but too stuffy without using it.
