Just got home from a stay for an event. Was totally disappointed. The event was poor and so was the stay. The heater in our room did not work It took awhile for the maintenance man to show. He removed the heater from the wall leaving us with frigid air blowing into the room for quite a long time. We had to block the hole with our coats. He came back and reinstalled the heater which did not work again. He was back several times - interrupting our stay and ended up putting a space heater in ... Read more

Was here this past weekend for a large group event. We brought our dog & was assigned to the dog floor. The room was not as clean as I expected, the corner still smelled of urine from a previous visitor. The bed was awful, when you laid down it sunk in the center. The room was poorly lit. Trouble with one elevator & with a large group that meant lots of waiting for the remaining elevators. During one occasion we went to enter the elevator & the 'trash team' was entering from the other side. T... Read more

The beds are very comfy. The Horizons restaurant is wonderful, very comfortable seating and they have a wonderful selection of entrees, wine and appetizers. I love the crab cake appetizer, the grilled shrimp with salad, and their soups are delicious. Every meal I have had here has been delicious! This hotel has a floor of rooms that pet friendly. They also have a very nice fenced in pet area with baggies. Every staff member we encountered was very pleasant.

Recently was part of a group of 10 stuck on an elevator for close to an hour. Same elevator was being worked on the day before. Thankfully, everyone remained calm throughout to including one in excess of 90 yrs of age and one with bad knees who had to stand the whole time. When they were finally able to open the doors, we were between floors, resulting in us having to climb down a ladder to the next floor. Was there anyone there from Management as we came out? Nope! Wow, that really says a l... Read more

We stayed two nights for the New Year's Eve package that included dinner and dancing with open bar, it was great! Food was delicious, two bands played and our waitress Wendy was so sweet all night! Would highly recommend staying here!

Three glorious days at the Clarion Fountainbleu Marigot Beach Condos was a superb way to spend Christmas. Our room was a 2-bedroom 2-bath King Suite with dual-access balcony, beautifully furnished and immaculate in all respects with oceanfront view AND bay view at the rear. It was great fun watching both sunrise and sunset. Christmas dinner was at the buffet at Horizon's in the Clarion Hotel itself which was top-notch in all ways. For us, what made this hotel really click was the front office ... Read more

Knowingly reserved the least expensive room with downside being restricted ocean view. Not informed about the kennel atmosphere. We were awakened by a barking dog in the next room each day. No ice machine on the floor.

This will be my last visit to the Clarion. The hotel was overall dirty, the room had an odor, and we were told all the rooms face out to the Ocean - ours didn't. The Thanksgiving meal that was served left alot to be desired. The food was cold, and it tasted like the veggies came from a can. We had a five o'clock sitting and there were hardly any desserts left. The hotel needs to shape up or it won't stay in business for long.

Stayed on november 23 and 24, ate at the Buffett on Thanksgiving day. First We fell in love thw with this place few years back when it was under the Sheraton Hotel name. Boy oh boy what a mess now. The place stinks especially the Hallway as if biggs were in here for a while. Our room 308 stunk from a spray used by the house keeping staff. the room was semi clean. the heater/ Ac was sounding like a an air compressor. This place nees a serious overwhole. Thanks giving dinner was deplorable, som... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for one night on 11/11/16. We checked into our room and then left for the evening. The room itself looked fine but I agree with others about the rooms being very dark. The beds in the room are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel. Upon putting my shampoo, etc in the shower the next morning I noticed 2 used bars of soap still in the shower on the shelf. This is totally unacceptable. I tried to use my shampoo bottle to push the bars back out of the wa... Read more
