We stayed here for our National Poodle Specialty as this was (and has been for the last several years) our headquarters. What a nice place to stay. The rooms are clean which is really important to me. We also had a refrigerator and a microwave. The staff is most accommodating and the front desk personnel are always pleasant and attentive. Our dogs were welcomed with biscuits at the front desk. Although we didn't have a spare moment to use the pool or gym, it looked lovely and clean. Breakf... Read more

I stayed here with my mom for third Friday's Salisbury event. We spent overnight 5/20/16. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. I would have liked more or bigger pillows, but that is because I have to sleep more propped up. The restaurant was actually pretty good. Not a standard place, you order at the bar and the bar tender handled getting you food and drink, but she was hustling and it was not crowded. It was about 8:30 or so. The salmon was excellent!! Older hotel with nice updates. Great value for a place convenient to Lax tournament. Much cheaper than places at the beach. Close to food and drinks. Beds could have been a bit bigger. I'm assuming it wasn't a queen double. On the website, it only give you kind or queen/double. These were full beds. Little tight. But room was huge. Other than the kids complaining about touching the rooms were great.

This is our first experience here at this LaQuinta Inn. We arrived at approximately 11pm, and there were police pulling someone over in the parking lot. We previously called to confirm our reservations so check in was as expected, uneventful. The hotel was aesthetically appealing. The staff were smiling, happy and cheerful. We were sent to the second floor, the elevators were working efficiently. The exercise room is also located on the second floor, and very well lit. On entrance, the size of t... Read more

I was disappointed with this LQ property. We frequently stay at LQ and found these premises to be disappointing. The room was suitable for one-night, but we would not stay here for an extended visit. Front desk was cluttered; assistant was distracted while I checked in; no Elite gift of water/snack was offered. Fans operating throughout first floor (moisture problem?); carpet was worn & dirty in breakfast area. This is a unique property; it could be so much better.

Hotel is old. Breakfast was great. There's a club on site which is nice, until guests decides to take the after party to the halls. However, staff did clear the halls. Bathroom had hair on ceiling, floor and sink. It was cleaned shortly after reporting. When I checked in, I had to call the front desk (while standing there), just to have staff come out.
