Clean hotel with a nice swimming pool , nicely located in Salisbury. Reasonably priced and a good hot breakfast with oakmeal, sausages and eggs. Friendly check in staff. Completely no-smoking hotel but smokers can smoke on the covered patio

Relatively clean, needs some serious updates. Our room was dusty, didn't look like it had been used in a few weeks. Front desk staff very nice and helpful But the housekeepers could use a refreshment course!!!!!!! Breakfast was easy....self-service for waffles, sausage, eggs. Also have cereal, yogurt and oatmeal.

Checking in and out was a breeze and staff was very pleasant. Cookies offered when checking in were good and a nice gesture. The breakfast selections were good and a nice variety. Only thing we were unhappy about was a bit of a smell in our room and the pool could be cleaner. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

affordable in terms of pricing, and top notch in terms of breakfast and staff and pool and place. Only one lady seemed to be around the kitchen and floated around the hotel also. Not a lot of staff in sight which was nice because the staff lady very friendly and helpful. Excellent conditions, excellent breakfast, highly recommend for business trips, young couples, families and other groups and people

If you read any of my other reviews I have ever wrote on here, I am a pretty fair reviewer. I am not one to nit pick however, there were a few things that left me unhappy. I will say that the young man who was working the front desk when we arrived at 11:30 p.m. on 7/17 was very helpful. He did whatever we asked even though I came a few times to get help with the laundry room. The woman who was working the breakfast area in the am was very helpful and friendly. She wanted to help. We enjoyed our stay very much. I can't remember a place I've stayed where the staff were more pleasant. There was ample parking, a very nice pool, good breakfast every morning and it was easy access to Route 50.

We stayed at this hotel for a softball tournament. The shower curtain had mildew on it, the air condition did not work, and the employee at the front desk did not have accurate information as to when we had to check out. I ended up paying for an additional night due to the error of the employee at the front desk. The hotel General Manager was not helpful with trying to rectify the error.

I like the place but was not happy with the noise of some very young people. the maids were not as efficient as I thought they should be. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The tile on the floors in much of the hotel seemed to me to make it cleaner; sometimes rugs appear to be dirty.

After Staying at other Country Inns and Suites we thought that this would be an excellent overnight stay for a weekend in Ocean City. To our surprise the accommodations were not as clean as we thought with a dirty bathroom and warm breakfast room. The night front desk employee did all that she could to accommodate everyone.

I was disappointed in being assigned a handicapped room. Asked for a different room, but was denied. Knew things were going to be bad when signs pointing to the room directed us to the wrong wing. Lots of noise up and down the hallway until the wee hours of the morning. Ironing board just set out in the middle of the hall way. Trash can not emptied from last occupants. Room needed vacuuming. Not really sure the sheets were clean. The shower leaked all over the floor. There was no place in the... Read more

I came to this hotel by mistake because my sister misplaced the dates. They were nice, the receptionist gave us a room that was used by a man only for 3-4 hours. He slept in there, had a shower and then left. She said she will clean the room for us and then let us check in. We were really tired but I asked her nicely if she needed help. She said yes so we changed the bed and she cleaned only the toilet, so basically she did nothing. We stayed in a room where we chaanged the bed and that was used... Read more

While the hotel is off the beaten path, it was not worth the horrible service from the "manager" from the hotel. We selected the hotel because of the indoor pool so that the kids could have fun. The pool was the size of a large bathtub -- if 7 humans were entered it was crowded and the water looked dirty. The manager was rude, and does not have a firm grasp of what "customer service" actually means. The rooms were average -- had to call the front desk to fix my non- functioning tv. One of... Read more

The management would only speak to the receptionist by email to discuss the issue. There was.No effort to compromise such as place at alternative hotel or give back money. The table in the room had smudges on it. The rooms, lobby and hallways smelled like old smoke

The staff was great. They were friendly and willing to help with anything. The rooms were clean. Overall the place was quiet. We enjoyed the extended hours of the pool. We were there to watch college soccer games for the weekend and the extended pool hours let us use the facilities later at night. The breakfast was good. Better than most hotels that offer a continental breakfast. They had waffles, eggs and bacon. We stayed here last year as well and would stay again.

We were a late-night check in (we were in a bit of a pinch, had nowhere to stay that night) and we were happy to find this hotel. The staff was good and the bathroom was clean, but the sheets on the bed had crumbs and blood on them, which I reported to the front desk. This problem was fixed by the staff promptly, and I was given fresh sheets to put on the beds. The hot breakfast was nice!

The front desk agents were very helpful, and informative of all of the amenities that the hotel has to offer. The hotel was very clean, and I had no complaints with the conditions of my room. The area that the hotel is located in was very peaceful and quiet. And I would come back to stay again, as well as give a recommendation to someone who are traveling.

No Ice Machines on the floors. You have to go back down to the lobby for ice. They need bigger and better TVs. I had to make several trips to the front desk to get a working remote. Front desk Staff was good.

Hotel was fine for purpose. Battery in smoke detector was 'chirping' at check in, but hotel personnel quickly changed it. Was near highway, so could hear noise, particularly motorcycles. Would ask for room furthest from highway. Wifi did not require password, which messes with some apps -- need to change protection level. "Hot" breakfast was typical of this class of hotels. Was more than adequate for stay.

We are very particular about the places that we stay during vacations. This location was about 25 minutes form Ocean City and the prices were great. We had a Jacuzzi suite which was very nice. The room did have a musty smell but we didn't complain about that to management because we knew the room category that we booked probably wouldn't be available for us to change to. We were able to check in early (around 1p) and the young lady at the counter was very pleasant and helpful. She gave us d... Read more

We stayed because by husband was part of an organized 100-mile bicycle ride this weekend. Over 7,000 people were taking part in the ride so the community was geared up for crowds. Our hotel helped us out by opening their breakfast at 6:00 am - an hour early. The breakfast area was busy with riders fueling up before the 7:00 am ride start. Thank you staff!!!! Check-in was swift and friendly and the room was spotless and modern. We would stay there again.

This hotel was great for the most part. Checking in and out was a breeze. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. The beds were very comfy and the room itself was very good. The bathroom tub and surround had been damaged and repaired badly. But that was just cosmetic. Everything worked fine. And the towels were thin/worn. Also they doubled their rates for a big event that took place the weekend I stayed there. This room was nice but not worth over $200 a night. Would highly recommend this... Read more

Expected more from this chain! Rooms need to be updated, badly! Don't be fooled, this was not a "suites" experience, thank goodness didn't need the couch/living room because it was not there-just one long awkward room! Breakfast was sub par but staff were attentive as they accommodated an early morning event for many guests. Poor value for the cost of our stay. Will not return to this location and will think twice about these properties in the future.

I stayed in the Country Inn & Suites in Salisbury, MD for two nights during the 2016 Seagull Century. The service was phenomenal to include the front desk employees, dining area and house keeping. The only problem is the prices were raised to $204.00 per night for just me. The hotel is not near downtown Salisbury, but on a main road, and easily accessible to all. It is also about a half hour drive from the beach at Ocean City. The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms and facilities reflect that. Our room was quite comfortable with enough space for our needs. It was attractively furnished, as were the hallways and common areas. This is a family friendly hotel with great nearby amenities, including a pool. I travel to Salisbury for business a few times a year and, when possible, I bring my wife and daughters along for the ride. Don't waste your time, horrible night. It is a welfare hotel at best. We found Toenails or Fingernails in the pull out bed at 12 when my teenage daughter ( she recorded it on her phone...gross) . The room had a mix match of furniture, it smelled like skunk butt and was just filthy dirt. I hope we don't get sick or get bugs. Not kidding.

The staff wasn't helpful, the rooms weren't clean, the "manager" wasn't hospitable and the staff seemed Overwhelmed. I hate that I gave money to this business. The manager should be completely removed. Anne was her name. Not a single friendly bone in her body.

We were kept awake by very rude people in and around the hotel. The staff did nothing meaningful even with a call at 1030pm and again at 230am. I have family in the area and I tried this facility for the first time. I will NEVER use a Country Inn again. The front staff was all but worthless helping us as guests. We stay in hotels all over the east coast and this is by far the worst experience in years. I would request a full refund but will probably never see it!

The Country Inn was comfortable and quaint. Parking was ample, the hotel is wheelchair accessible. On entrance it is aesthetically appealing, the check in was simple, the seating area was easy to access. The dining area was clean and welcoming. The queen double bed rooms were tidy, and comfortable. There's a refrigerator present in room. The bathroom was decent. There was adequate toiletries, and linens. If in the area, I would definitely stay here at Country Inn again! God bless you!
