lots of construction now. They cemented their pool and changed out a lot of other elements. NOTE: many of the rooms have large windows that open toward the inside hall and some appear to have no windows. when booking your room, you might want to request an outside facing room. The renovated rooms are very nice, but I could hear the very loud noise of the shower in the next room at 12 midnight and 6 am. Also, this is close to the Metro which is somewhat loud. the price and metro access are good.

I traveled to DC for a business trip and needed to stay somewhere near the DC Metro. I couldn't find a hotel closer unless it was on the Metro. The hotel is a bit of a train ride into DC (approx 30-40 min depending on where you are going) but it is worth it if you don't want to have to walk any distance once you get off the Metro. The Hotel is literally across the street from the Metro's parking lot. The hotel met expectations. They published that they were under construction but it is cl... Read more

See text within review. I specifically shared information related to the food we were served, Internet access as a Hilton Honors member, cleanliness of room and 75 degrees was the coolest I could get my room. I did call the front desk to report the temperature challenge. The sent an engineer to check and he reported that it was not able to be fixed.

Always my choice when in DC area for meetings; ease of commute by Metro or interstate to northern VA/MD headquarters. Plenty of choices for eateries just within walking distance. Having Metro access is perfect too. Parking garage makes inclement weather as not an issue! Staff is always warm and friendly, eager to assist if an issue arises (a rarity here!) Remodel is almost complete but never intruded on stay or services. Great place!

We had a similar experience as those before us in recent weeks. Construction is causing a problem - water turned off occasionally, loud banging, strong paint smell, air conditioning not working. We had to move to another room on the bottom floor for the night as the air conditioner was not hooked up in our assigned room. Then we were moved to another room the next day. The completed rooms are nice enough but it is a bit rough going for the hotel at the moment. Nice to have the Metro across ... Read more

This hotel is in a great location and close to everything from restaurants, shops, gas stations, pharmacy and supermarket. Parts of the hotel are being re-done but our room was spacious with lots of outlets for charging and a nice big bathroom. They have a parking deck if you are concerned about having your car out at night.

Location is great right on 355/Rockville Pike. The rooms are very reasonably priced and you are also right on the Redline Metro which takes you into DC. They also have a great space to do special events and weddings. When you walk in the lobby is very grand and open. They also have an indoor pool opened all year round.

I ended up having to stay at this hotel as other hotels in the area were sold out. It was a great stay, the gentleman who checked me in late at night on the night of the 17th, was very hospitable. It's a nice hotel and the room was comfortable. My only complaint is the walls are very thin, I could hear our neighbors next door very early in the morning having a conversation and I'm not sure if it was the housekeeper or guests yelling in the hallway. Other than that, I would stay here again.

This hotel is under construction and it needs it. The rooms were in poor working order (air conditioning, bathroom had almost no hot water). This is a very unusual corporate hotel in the suburbs of Washington DC, about 45 minutes north of Union Station on the red Metro line. First, note that the hotel is at the Twinbrook Metro stop, NOT Rockville. Some aspects of the hotel are very nice. As noted in other reviews, every single employee was courteous and helpful. I stayed here for a multi-day meeting, and I must say that this was one of the strangest hotels I have stayed at. Yes, they were undergoing renovations. That said, there were many issues. My room was quite odd. There were two doors and entrances, one at each end of the room, each exiting to different hallways. It was raining, and there was water in the hallways near the meeting rooms. I've stayed at many Hiltons before, and am a HHonors member, but this place is indefensible. A horrible 70's monstrosity, the architect who built this place should have his license revoked. Great location, comfortable rooms & awesome stuffs. One thing I didn't favor was parking fee. There is no parking shortage in Rockville, it would have been very convenient to have free parking. Other than parking, great Cozy spot to stay.

We choose this Hilton of all other Hiltons in Washington DC because it is conveniently located on the Red Line to most of the major Metro stops and to Union Station. To our delight we were also greeted with much courtesy, especially I like to mention the concierge,Warren who was rather helpful and cheery at all times. Much appreciated. Ask for room facing outside not inside. I did request, but my room was not ready and we were vey tired when we arrived. So when the Reception told me there is an ... Read more

This new Hilton is iver all beautiful, the service was adequate, there's just nothing to do with the kids. The hotel was still under construction, so I'm not sure if that means they will be adding a pool or something to add to the atmosphere. But this was an overall nice experience, beside there not being a microwave in my room to heat up my children's milk. That was an additional $15 charge.

This hotel is tired and bland. The staff is okay. The hotel is dark with a center atrium that is depressing. The hotel has rooms that are interior and have no exterior windows. The "windows" are to a hallway that is adjacent to the atrium. The restaurant has a limited menu. There are likely better options.

I had a great stay last month at this hotel. Conveniently located right in front of the red line metro station, it can be a base for anyone looking at visiting Metro DC area. It is also within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The staff was amazing and provided a great service, from the receptionists, belly boys, to the wait staff at the restaurant and the bar. The food served was excellent and moderately priced. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rockville or metro DC... Read more

Olive‚??s restaurant inside the Hilton Rockville at 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland provided a great business breakfast this morning for myself and two guests. The newly renovated restaurant is very impressive.¬† Floor to ceiling windows, a comfortable seat in just about every inch of the space, and the buffet at $17 is ample and plentiful for anybody. Service too was exceptional today.¬† Teshale was a great server!¬† Very attentive to our order, nailed it spot on from the start, and ... Read more

The hotel is very close to Twinbrook metro station, which is big advantage compared to other hotels around Rockville area. The hotel is currently under renovation. It will be in a much better shape after renovation. The room was already renovated. The room was clean and spacious with excellent reception of wifi. The bed was very comfortable.

Hilton never fails no matter where are in the world, and the Rockville Hilton did not disappoint. Marvelous service, comfy room, excellent food. My only annoying complaint - we arranged (and paid for) a 6:00 p.m. check out (as we do every year) and yet as with every other year, after 3:00 p.m. we had to stop at the front desk and get new keys. Why our original keys can't work till 6:00 p.m., I have no idea.

This is an Older Hilton hotel. The interior pictures of the hotel were taken several years ago as the atrium contains no furniture, just a large open space. AC unit was noisey. The tv could not be heard when the air vent for the bathroom was used. Underground parking was sufficient but had a terrible smell. It reminded me of what a vagrant building would smell like, where the homeless camped out.

This is probably an okay hotel for a conference, but not for a personal trip to DC. Even then, its just about okay. The hotel is a bit dated and dearly needs a face lift. Carpets are old and worn. Give them a break already. The restaurant food is again...just okay, but our server was nice. The young kid tending the bar definitely knows his job well and was pleasant to converse with. Drinks were good...especially the moscow mule. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby so you definitely ... Read more

We expected more from the Hilton based on previous stays with this chain. There were significant problems with the very loud cooling system which led to sleepless nights. The digital clock also didn't work. The desk staff was unable to give me the location of the next days meeting at the hotel. Overall this was one of my least satisfactory business meeting venues in the Washington D.C. area.

This hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and hotel room was just great! Bartender, front desk staff were top notch. Great location, easy to find, plenty of restaurants and shops located within very close proximity. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Probably about 30-45 min drive from BWI airport.

Hiltons are great in general but this particular one didn't have any rooms with windows that open directly to fresh air/sun. There were walking corridors on both sides of teh room. Thus you can't even open the curtains to maintain privacy. had a huge lobby/atrium but no access to sun.

This hotel is in a great location, close to all sorts of stores and restaurants (big plus is a great Safeway supermarket right beside it where one can buy stuff to put in the fridge in your room. They also had a Deli and eating area in the store). The hotel is clean, a bit dated but still relevant. Some of the rooms face the inner hotel area, and some have no windows at all. I was fortunate to have a room on the top floor, looking out. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. The negative... Read more

This is a very good hotel with everything you should expect from a Hilton. However there's a need to improve in some aspects. The breakfast options are very limited and they should really explore ways to diversify their menu. The Executive lounge seems to have strange hours of operation or is not operational at all. The parking fees are ridiculous. I will still recommend this hotel as everything else is excellent.

Stayed at this Hilton for a meeting at the nearby NIH offices. Came in by Metro from Union Station and the walk was convenient, but no signage or clear entrance from the back. I could find the loading dock and eventually a dark glass door that took me into a hallway on the ground floor level. I could see the mezzanine, but could not find the right stairwell to get me there. Looks like construction, but at least some signage would have helped. Check-in was fine, hotel had all the usual amenities... Read more
