Went the week after Thanksgiving using a time share we acquired from a friend. Was pretty surprised when arrived expecting time share quality and basically was a mini suite. Had a living area facing the bay towards fagers island which was pretty. Kitchen was fridge/microwave. Bedroom was queen size bed. Due to the time of year it was the air conditioning was turned off which wasn't helpful the bedroom was hot as heck luckily saved by a friend who brought us down a fan. You could tell the place ... We arrived late ckecked in we had a suite room 504 wen tto the top floor the entire floor smelled. Apparently they have long term rentals in the winter months so people live in the hotel. Was told I had to.deal with it. The room had mold in the shower and bugs on the ceiling and the bed mattress was hard as a rock and way outdated the cushions on the sofa were all miss matched and old. as well as the tvs in the bedroom are about 10 years old not worth even close to the money they charge. I was u... Read more

Probably beautiful back when it first opened but not any more. Black mold on dust ruffle of bed and window valance. Screen door to balcony broken. This place needs repair. Looks like they just don't care anymore. Would not stay again.

Room was filthy, the carpet in the bed room disgusting, Roaches in the bathroom, mold along the base of the shower curtain. Light blub out in bathroom. it needs to close down and clean and exterminate . The Manager I was told by Expedia knows of the issues and only offers a 20% discount. The hotel is also running under a different name Fiesta not The Coconut Malorie Resort.

Place was dirty and in need of everything. Water leaked in my room. Place is not worth the money. Total dive. Noisy road and people leaving the club behind it making noise all night when leaving club. Dont waste your money.

Never in my life have I been so disappointed. Do not be fooled by the online photos. This place is mold infested and not to mention has bugs. We checked in and ended up checking out the same night. Not worth the money.

We stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights. The staff was friendly and we had a beautiful view of the bay and marsh with super nice sunsets. The pool was clean and the hot tub was nice and hot. Our towels and sheets were clean. However, our room smelled musty and smokey even though the hotel was non smoking. The AC only made it to 70 and no cooler. The entire hotel was hot, musty, and dirty. The jetted bathtub was moldy and not usable. It took over 5 mins for the water to heat up. The Internet was spot... Read more

We booked the Coconut Malorie as a last minute thing for a couple nights. The location is nice, close to the Coastal Highway but far enough away to not be disturbed. It is not on the boardwalk, but it does have a nice view of the inlet. We stayed in a Queen suite on the fifth floor and were initially entranced by the room. It is a little outdated, perhaps, but for the price we paid it was a lovely room with a beautiful view. Then we realized just how hot it was. I checked the thermostat and it i... Read more

I wanted to take a short trip to Ocean City, MD, and elected to do so without any advance planning. Naturally I went to Trip Advisor to review my options. In doing so I elected to use Booking.com. Trip Advisor is apparently connecting potential clients to multiple discount aggregators in including Expedia and Orbitz among others. I only selected Booking.com because that was the first choice, but at any rate this isn't a review about Booking.com or Trip Advisor. After reviewing all the options,... Read more

We've stayed at Coconut Mallory for many years & love staying here but rooms are starting to show that they need updating. We love the location (next to Fagers & Bad Monkey, short walk to other restaurants as well) but there are so many options to stay in OCMD (including a Martiott coming next to it) that we may start to look around at other options and not just automatically book this vacation resort every year. The pool is nice & clean, most of the rooms have really good views as well. The ... Read more
