The hotel rooms and bathrooms are very small, but they are clean. There is no elevator, no central air (window units). Before booking please ask the front desk if any bands/musicians will be playing at Shenanigans because if so you won't be able to sleep until they stop playing around 2am. If you are a family spend a little more money and get a better hotel, if you are a young person and want to be on the boardwalk then this hotel is clean and cheap. Take it for what it is worth.

This isn't a criticism but just a 'heads up' if you can't do stairs look elsewhere. This is an older hotel that only has stairs between floors but that was no problem for us. We made a last minute reservation and probably got one of the smallest rooms but it was still very nice and neat. The shower in particular was very small and the hot water was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry, we were at the beach. There was no clock in the room so take your own. Otherwise, it was great! It was s... Read more

Located on 4th street on the boardwalk. Stayed in room 100 on first floor. Had to walk up a flight of I can't wait to return again year after year. Bus stop was also right out front of parking lot. steps. Our room was clean and tidy. I would return here again. For a old place our room was pleasant

For the past three years, we have stayed at the Shoreham. It is extremely convenient and fairly priced. It is not a luxury hotel and that is clearly not what I expect. The cleaning staff is amazing and so friendly. The only problem I have is the water-it will certainly make you jump right out of the shower from time to time!

First off please know that this is no luxury hotel. There is no pool, there are no elevators, each time I tried to get coffee in the lobby it was out and 1/4 of our floor space was taken up by a window unit ac (removed due to the storm I guess and placed on a tarp). The bathroom had a step up into it , the shower takes a while to heat up and the stall was the size of an airplane bathroom...not joking. We lost power while there but there was one crazy storm. On top of all this though the stay wa... Read more

After seeing how cheap the price was compared to the other hotels in the area, I didn't set my standards high. But yet I still left disappointed and would NEVER return. Upon our arrival the girl at the front desk told us we needed to give a $50 CASH deposit per person in the room. This was never mentioned anywhere on any website prior to booking. The girl told us that we didn't need to pay it since we were only staying for one night. We also had ONE an only ONE guest with us. So yes the room was... Read more

My family and I spent 3 nights at Shoreham Hotel. We knew when we booked that it wasn't a "fancy" hotel. The price was very comfortable forbus. We had no problems checking in. My children were given wristbands so there would be no confusion as to whether or not they were staying there. (As a parent, I appreciated the extra security measure.) There is not an elevator but we knew that beforehand. Out room was very clean, cool and comfortable. The housekeeping and maintenance staff did a great job ... Read more

We stayed here for the Sand Duels Beach Soccer tournament June 11-12, so proximity to the fields right between the lifeguard/ bathrooms and the Ferris wheel was the main attraction for us. We have come the last three years for this tournament and stayed the first year (two years ago)at the Plim Plaza, next at the Majestic and lastly at the Shoreham. The Shoreham was was the cleanest/ most updated bathroom, but also the smallest, tightest space. (This is based on the one room we had in each place... Read more

This place was perfect old Ocean City with comfy beds and pillows. It was pristine clean too and right on the boardwalk. Only issue was the water pressure if someone in another room used water. But one expects that in a quaint old hotel at the beach.

While it is only a 3 star hotel, we enjoyed our short stay. It is located right on the boardwalk which is extremely convenient. We parked our car in their free lot and never used as bus passes are $3 for all day and buses run regular. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff very friendly. We were on the third floor with a king bed and an excellent side view of ocean and boardwalk. They looked brand new so probably just renovated. There is no elevator though and I would not want to be on first... Read more

My wife and I planned a little weekend getaway to OC in June, we did not realize the air show was the same weekend and we got the last room at the Shoreham. I will list the good and the bad. The good: - Located on 4th street so it is very close to everything on the boardwalk. The pier and inlet area is about a 10-15 minute walk away - Right on the beach! - Good price for being beachfront - The girls at the front desk were very friendly - Room was basic but had a king size bed and fridge The ba... Stayed here over the July 4th week with my husband we had a queen bed room for just two people there is plenty of room. Beds were comfy and staff was nice. Only down fall is this place doesn't have an elevator so if your older or in a wheel chair it would be difficult to stay here. Also I'd recommend staying get on the second floor like we did, u can hear music from the bar down stairs if your on the 1st floor. Had a great stay and for the price I'd stay again.

This hotel was very interesting. I was in town for the American Legion Convention. When I checked in, there was a sign on the wall that stated "No Visitors". I had to do a double take. Usually, Legionnaires go hotel hopping during the convention so my room was off limits. Felt I was at a boarding school. Second, there was no elevator and my room was on the second floor, After hiking 2 flights of steps, i reached my room and was pleasantly surprised that the room was pretty spacious. The ... Read more

The location is golden if you like to enjoy boardwalk , crowd and pier. If you are looking for less crowded beach, please stay away from this area and choose something near 26th Street. This is an old property , but very well maintained and clean.Stuffs are very friendly. We stayed in second floor. First floor is on top of a Pub and music can be loud during weekend. Rest room was very small , but you get what you pay for. Only complain is about the water temperature in shower. It was changi... Read more

This hotel is your basic beachfront hotel. It would be great for drunk college kids and people on a budget. Rooms were Clean, best part of the hotel. The bad, outdated rooms, shower is tiny, shower temp goes from ice cold to hot 12 times a minute, it's horrible. The WiFi speed is 2 down and 4 up....... Your kids will NOT be pleased. Worst part, the freaking band that plays at the restaurant underneath till 1 am. I can't sleep! I would never stay here again. The girl at the ... Read more

When booking this hotel, I read the mixed reviews and didn't have high expectations when arriving here. The price was also good, but compared to the other hotels I figured this hotel didn't have much to offer. My husband and 1 year old stayed in a queen sized single room. There was a queen sized bed, and a bathroom with a tiny shower stall no tub. The mattress needed to be thrown away a year ago. It felt as if someone has slept in it by themself for years. There was a dent in the middle that I k... Read more

After reserving a one night stay two weeks prior, we arrived at the hotel where we told that we did not have a reservation. I kindly showed the booking confirmation along with the confirmation number and the front desk clerk said it wasn't sufficient. Long story short, a complete waste of time and terrible customer service. The reservation was also booked through the hotels website. Needless to say, it was impossible to find a last minute stay on a Saturday night in Ocean City. If you decide to ... Read more

My wife and I stayed at the Shoreham hotel in Ocean city Maryland for 3 nights. It is not nothing fancy and it isn't even updated; old school hotel. The place served it's purpose for our stay. It is a prime location because you are on the board walk. You are close to everything. There is a great bar that is under neath the hotel called Shenanigans. If you are looking for a place to stay (if you dont stay in the hotel much)for a few days, this place isn't bad. Not sure if I would use it again, ... Read more

As a very last minute decision to get out of town, most places were booked or VERY expensive. We decided to take a chance and stay the night. I know you get what you pay for, so I wasn't expecting much at all. We only shower/sleep in the room anyway. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how friendly the front desk staff was and accommodating! checked in to find a vary 'minimal' room, but very clean. They will bring up an iron/ironing board if you need it. When we checked out the next da... Read more

As I write this review it is almost 12:30am, I am in room 115 on the first floor and all I hear is loud obnoxious music coming from beneath our room. I wish I could add audio to this review. I'm assuming from the bar shenanigans beneath the hotel. The floor is literally vibrating. I call the front desk and of course no one answers. I walk down and conveniently the guy is sitting right there and has zero clue of what time the music will stop. This is the same guy that I asked earlier for the clo... Read more
