This hotel has not been updated in a long time! Maybe the rooms looked like that back in 1980 but today they are bad..............first of all, the beds weren't even the same size and you could immediately tell that the linens had not been changed in a while. The blankets kept in the closet were full of dog hair and disgusting! The bathroom doesn't even have an exhaust fan and the bath towels are small and thin. They installed an external garage light in the bathroom to act as a heater for God'... Read more

My Husband & I went for the car show back in October, right before they closed for the winter. They really made us feel like they didn't want us there as if we were bothering them. The beds were old & the rug was nasty. I'm so glad we brought our own blankets, as theirs were very old & dingy. The indoor pool & Hot tub was the dirtiest I've ever seen. We Definitely will not return or recommend this place, there are plenty of others to choose from in this area.

We checked in on Monday and had no issues. We went up to the room and it was a little further away from the boardwalk then we wanted to be so I went down to the front desk and asked if we could get a little closer. Christina who was working at the front desk was so helpful and friendly and since they were not entirely booked because it was only the last week in April she was more than willing to accommodate our request. They had another room that was right on the boardwalk that was a little mo... Read more

My Mom, Sister and I stayed at the Flagship for our Mother's Day Getaway.. It was in our price range and had an indoor pool and hot tub, plus we had one of their 6 "True" Oceanfront Rooms. It is definitely an older hotel, but I felt the hotel staff did everything they could to accommodate us. Our Kitchenette was well stocked with service for 4 people. We had your classic "college fridge", microwave and stove set-up, it worked great for us to be able to have breakfast and lunch in the room. Havin... Read more

This was our first time stay at the flagship hotel in ocean city Md. We made this reservation on a whim, just for a getaway after some busy and saddening days. My wife actually chose this hotel based on price, location, facilities and availability. Unbeknownst to us at the time we made the reservation, the annual Ocean city car Cruz-in, so this became a very busy area for the 4 days, 3 nights we spent there. The room was clean and complete with amenities, to include cooking utensils, silverware... Read more

We stay hear every year. It is a perfect location for our family. Away from the action but yet on the boardwalk. Boardwalk tram is right there. My kids love the pools. And restaurant was great to. Our only complaint was the house keeper we had some days could not speak English very well so it was hard getting things we needed and ended up having to call room service almost every night for it.

The hotel is in a good location, and cleanliness was average. The set up is terrible. One elevator on one end and there are steps going up and down on one floor so if you have a lot of luggage, etc. you can take the luggage cart up the elevator but then you have to unload right there and walk to wherever your room is. I'm so glad my mother decided not to come with us. Getting from the elevator to the room would have exhausted her.

The hotel is obviously old so it would be rude of me to complain about the old-ness. The room was nice, and the staff was extremely nice as well. Perfect location. It's on the boardwalk but not near the crowded portion of it. The price is honestly a steal.

For the most part everything was good. I wish the outdoor pool stayed open later and that the patrons at the bar next door did not have such easy access to the pool and restroom facilities provided to quests.

The carpet in the lounges and the halls were stained. The only good carpet was in the front Entrance. The thermostat in my room did not work and shut the unit off when it reached the temp set on. I turned it up to 90 and it still ran on AC. The play area by the pool had stacks of wood in one corner. It was finally cleaned up. There was small trees in big pots just sitting sideways without any dirt in pot

Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND - Very Dirty place from carpets, walls, entrance, elevators, rooms and everything else in between. Outdoor pool bar closes at 6pm - REALLY in the middle of summer Staff is NOT friendly, parking is a nightmare. The only good thing this place has going is it's on the beach but honestly the owners should really consider demolishing it and rebuilding something that is 21st century. Will never stay agin

The best thing about this hotel is the location on the boardwalk. Rooms are okay, hotel could be kept up better. Great pool area, but no lifeguard or staff of any kind- people (who were clearly drunk) from the bar adjacent to the pool kept coming through to use the public restrooms off the pool area, and at one point there was a man in the women's room.

This hotel is very old probably an OC original and we knew this going in. They have renovated the rooms and they are very clean, a little musty but with all the humidity at the ocean that is to be expected. Needs more variety in bed size options and make them more comfortsble. When a guest requests no service from housekeeping, please abide by it!!! I understand kids keep taking the "Do Not Disturb" signs, but this doesn't excuse allowing housekeeping in the room when the guest calls down to the desk early morning, long before they come, to go in. Otherwise, love the pool bar, game room (with pool table), and heated inside pool with hot tub. I do wish the gym opened earlier than 10am though.

Front office management was very rude. The staff were great. Very helpful. The hotel has long hallways with 2 steps that make transporting bags difficult. My suggestion would be to book early and book somewhere else , you get what you pay for.

Room and bathroom were clean upon arrival. The room was nicer than expected. Easy beach and boardwalk access. Would not eat or drink at the attached bar due to its appearance. Seats, tables and floors were not well maintained.

I recently stayed at the flagship Ocean City with my boyfriend on a couples getaway. When booking a hotel or priority was location on the beach and price. As our plan was to be out of the room more than in the room. The flagship has a great location on 26 street and the beach as well as being at the very end of the boardwalk. So you get the benefit of beach and boardwalk without a lot of crowds since the end of the boardwalk does not have all the commercialization or stores like the inlet. Front... Read more

I stayed at the Flagship for 2 nights. My room was clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. The hallways needed fixing up and the game room was dated. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely go back again. I love OC in the fall, no kids around. 2 thumbs up.

The place was nice. Good location. Nice pools, cool playground for kids. Rooms were kind of run down / outdated / furniture is stained. The kitchennete unit was nice. We enjoyed having a separate bedroom. The pullout mattress was so broken, that they recommended sleeping on the floor, but then decided to put a regular mattress on top of the pull out, which helped, but certainly didn't fix the situation. I wouldn't give the manager a high score for service, but the maintenance man was very nice.

Hotel I felt was a bargain at 99 a night, I booked direct thru them and it paid off I had a second floor room, first in line to the boardwalk. Could it use updating yes, you could see where they had did some ceiling painting in the room, and it looked as if someone fell into the drywall on the bathroom wall and made a nice little indent. The fridge worked good, the heat was on when we first arrived, after we got back from running around went to the desk, and they sent maintenance to fix the pr... Read more

We go every year and we love the location and what the hotel has to offer. Always a good time. However every year we have a problem with the room service. When we go its for a week and it never fails that atleast 2 days out of our stay if not more we have to call the front desk and ask for room service to come. sometimes we have to call 2-3 times before the come. besides that we have always enjoyed it there.

Our room leaked water dripping on my kids heads, screaming at 2am from everywhere, the smell was horrible then our room also smelled like smoke. It's a run down dive of a hotel, unless you are a college kid, don't go here with your family!
