Our room was right off the bar so we had to keep the curtains closed the entire time we were there. Opened them once to a kid eating butter packets. No complimentary breakfast like most places offer so it was out of pocket for breakfast which can get expensive for a family. Maids were Russian (which the whole area seems to be) but very nice.

A motel near the sea front in Ocean City is hard to find at a reasonable price, but the Econolodge suited us fine ?? short walk to the beach and close to the trolley which runs up and down the main street for a reasonable fare of $3 per person for a day ticket. The hotel was basic but clean and provided an adequate room with reasonably comfortable beds. Staff on the front desk were not the most cheerful people we have met on this trip ?? a shame because in our experience the quality of staff ... Read more

The rooms were average. The cleanliness was just ok. The balcony had two old plastic chairs that were covered with dirt and mold. The window a/c unit was actually falling out of its frame. The frame was rusty and rust was actually falling off the unit the entire time we were there (one week). The toilet was not working properly for our entire stay and no one seemed to be able to fix it right. The beds had metal legs which were too close to their edges and we both managed to mangle our toes on th... Read more

We had oceanfront room on the 5th floor. A.C. was never on in the hallway, temp was 87&up. Rooms are fine, view of ocean was lovely,& pools were clean. Hotel is close to Jolly Roger Amusement Park, shops & restaurant's. Ella was our housekeeper, she was really good&so nice.

I am in my 60's (so I have stayed in a few hotels) and this is the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. Overall the entire hotel wasn't clean but the room was dated and beyond not clean! The bath room heat vent (?) was very rusted. The ceiling vent was hanging by a thread and of course didn't work. The sofa looked so dirty and grungy, I would not sit on it. There were toys and cereal behind the sofa. Everything was sticky, the light switches even the books!!!! Mold on the ceiling!!!!! Hallways a... Read more

Family of 5 with 2 young children - smooth no fuss check-in, 2 connecting rooms were very clean and comfortable, reception staff and cleaning staff all very kind, helpful and friendly. Outdoor and indoor pools, clean and well-maintained. Would have given 5 stars but for the indoor pool bathrooms and changing rooms which understandably were highly used by all and did need some more upkeep...Fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker... we are vegetarian/organic, brought our own burner cooked our own... This location has two buildings. The one directly on DuPont is a dump. Room was smelly and had no safe as advertised. We were moved to the big building is on the beach. Fantastic room. So much better. The breakfast is really a 'drive-thru'. You go get your food and return to your room to eat. The rooms do have a table and 2 chairs. There is also a table in front of the couch. Could eat there too. Weekend room prices are $100 more. Seems like a big jump too me

Nice budget friendly hotel on ocean. 2 separate buildings separated by parking lot.Spend a little more for an oceanfront room. Views well worth it! Older hotel, clean rooms, comfortable bed. 2 blocks from Boardwalk. Friendly staff, basic breakfast, not bad. Stayed 3 years ago when it was Rodeway. Seemed a little nicer. Would stay again.

I previously wrote a review of our not so good experience, and was invited back for another stay at a discounted rate. I entered this time with an open mind, and didnt hold the first stay against them. I am glad I did. The room setup was great on the upper floors. GREAT view of the ocean, and when traveling with the little ones this hotel having the fridge and small kitchen area actually saved us a bit of money when it came to buying snacks and meals. My girls loved the indoor pool. The back bui... Read more
