I spent some time looking for affordable hotel options in the greater DC area for a one day visit into the city. This was one of very few hotels offering free parking wifi and breakfast! Usually these things are pretty standard hotel things but in DC it seems you get one or another but not all. Rooms are extra spacious which is rare these days. Bathroom is fantastic, shower extra large. TV was good, coffee maker in room. Bed was comfortable. Overall excellent value for the price. Metro s... Read more

We stayed in the hotel on our way to Massachusetts, room was clean , but we try to seat in on table lobby, and they told us we can't, never mind the tables was empty. The general manager KEVIN BEARD coming and told us we can't seat , we need to move to our room because they was waiting for 300 people who is coming for a party in the ballroom . He was not friendly at all. He said we need to move up or leave it. I feel not welcome at all . It's look never mine we pay we can't stay in the lobby for... Read more

It was a nightmare making the arrangements for the stay as it was. After having repeated issues on-line, I tried calling the hotel, only to be met with attitude when I inquired as to hy I could not et the same deal I was looking at on-line. Upon arrival, I informed the man at the desk, who said he was sorry, but said a manager was not in. As it turned out we were both dealing with a stomach bug, but determined to enjoy our stay. I had to wait some time to use -what we were told was- the "only" m... Read more

We were in town for a Redskins game & booked this hotel for 2 nights because of the low price & it looked nice on the website. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it is in the inside & out. The front desk staff were SO polite & professional. Other guests were hanging out in the lobby/bar area laughing & having a great time. It was a welcoming atmosphere. Our room (2 double beds) was a good size with plenty of room to walk around without having to squeeze by your roommates or f... Read more

We stayed in this hotel on our way to Washington DC. A very neat and clean hotel. The lobby is a bit cramped but the room was spacious, well appointed with modern amenities. Bed was comfy, TV was working as also the coffee maker . The bathroom nice. Best part is the free buffet breakfast. Plenty of bread, butter, tea and coffee etc. Enjoyed stay here.

My stay was great. The room was nice with plenty of room. The customer service was exceptional. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby so I didn't have to travel far. I would recommend this hotel....

Clean tidy rooms with a good turn down service. Very comfy bed - we slept extremely well and a good selection of TV channels. The bus service to and from the local train station was very convenient - they forgot about us once, but it wasn't a big deal. Breakfast is OK, it would be great if they had porridge every morning though. We would stay here again as a viable, cheaper option versus expensive DC hotels.

Overall I wasn't that impress, maybe they had remolding going on. When you walked in the hotel smells really great. Was on the 5th not too much of a view, but it was ok. The ice machine on the 5th floor wasn't working so I had to go a floor lower to get ice lol didn't mind was just inconvenient. The front desk personnel seem pleasant, especially the gentlemen that work over night. When I checked in the reps that helped me seem young and still learning but they were pleasant. The BREAKFAST WAS ... Read more

The service could use improvement. It took a while for the front desk agent to acknowledge me when I walked up. Ice machine on my floor was broke, service told me to go to a lower floor. Lobby furniture was visibly dusty, room was plain, but nice. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Overall ok experience, would stay again.

You might think it is "fine" as it is just outside Washington and you safe some money, but they really have to pay me to stay there again for the following reasons: - Towels were all with dirty marks and PUBIC HAIRS!!!!!! - There were pubic hairs all over the bedding. - Strong smell of humidity, we asked them to change rooms and the next room had exactly the same smell but at least the paper wasn't coming off the wall!! - The night we arrived we had dinner at its restaurant and the leaf of lett...
