Moved on from Radisson Hotel after a couple of very disappointing visits. Holiday Inn, Timonium - a bit tired and asking for a refit - the rooms are clean - the staff exceptional and make up for the 'tired' appearance of the rooms. We will most certainly stay at Holiday Inn Timonium next March.

2nd visit to Holiday Inn , I said I would be back, and just like last year we had a marvelous stay here, we had 3 rooms booked for family and friends and no complaints whatsoever , it's what you expect at a hotel kind of atmosphere the staff is friendly and accommodating to us all 3 rooms booked given on same floor, we stayed for 2 nights to attend the Beer Bourbon & Bbq festival and for my 21 yr old daughters first attendance she and all of us had a good time both at and away from the hotel! I stayed 2 nights. April 5 & 6, 2016. The room was very clean, the water in the shower would stay at warm or hot as you wanted for as long as you wanted. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was so good and at a very reasonable cost. Attached to restaurant attached to hotel. Was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I was there because my doctor sent me for testing at John Hopkins health care and surgical center. The hotel was only a little more than 2 miles away. I highly recommend this h... Read more

Got room online and was easy to check in. Bottled water was reasonable at $1.50. Room was clean and quiet with fridge. Breakfast was offered at $5 a person but was pretty good. Hair dryer and some outlets did not work.

I had a room reserved for three nights, and I remember staying here several years ago and had a bad experience, but didn't remember what it was. Yesterday, I checked in and arrived at my room. It wasn't anything special other than being an old hotel made to look updated. The elevator trim was painted by unskilled painters. Some of the lights didn't appear to light up as you past the floor. As a Holiday Inn, it did not have its own internal restaurant or bar. It had a breakfast area only but serv... Read more

I reserved rooms (5) via Booking.com. There were two different reservations. The biggest plus for Booking.com is FREE CANCELLATION. The rooms reserved had free cancellation up to May 21; Both reservations were canceled on May 10th. I have proof of the cancellations and when speaking with Booking.com customer service they also see the reservations were canceled. However, Holiday Inn decided to charge my account anyhow and Mary the Manager at Holiday Inn refused to refund my money stating it w... Read more

My husband and I stayed here last night. We have been traveling the past ten days staying exclusively at IHG properties. I can't give this five stars, although I really can't complain. The room was clean as was the hallway and lobby. It is obvious that this is a busy hotel as woodwork around elevator and doors were chipped and elevator buttons were scratched. But floor and walls were very good. All in all I would stay here again.

The Holiday Inn was clean and comfortable. The check in/out process was fairly efficient and the staff were very courteous. The room was clean, fairly updated, and comfortable. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming, it's location was also easily accessible to many restaurants and businesses. It had free parking, free Wi-Fi, and multiple areas to purchase snacks if needed. The Holiday Inn provides comfortable and convenient lodging for travelers visiting the Timonium/Baltimore regions.

We stay here every other year when our daughter sees a doctor at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Timonium is a convenient place for avoiding Baltimore. We find better rates at Holiday Inn than other hotels. The hotel itself is nothing special, but we haven't had bad experiences. This time the front desk had the wrong price on my reservation, but changed it when I showed her a printout. I recommend taking proof of your reservation.

Friendly staff, which always makes my stay better. An Applebee's is attached to the hotel which was nice. The room and bathroom were clean, but could use more outlets by the bed. I use a cpap and had to full furniture out and unplug a lamp from an extension cord. Just a nice place to stay for business or vacation, I definitely recommend it.

This is a clean and well maintained Holiday Inn. The queen bed in my unit was very comfortable and a variety of pillows were provided so that I could choose soft or firm of my preference. A Keurig coffee maker was in the room as well as a small fridge and microwave. The customer reps at the desk were always friendly and helpful. One of them assisted me in getting my flight boarding pass printed. When I reported that the toilet in my room had backed up they promptly had it taken care of. A co... Read more

I am not crazy about a $5 charge for breakfast. The room and bed were ok. The bathroom was very dated. We stayed here because the hotels downtown were outrageously over priced. Having the Chilis restaurant attached was a plus, but it was not remarkable either.

Where do I start?we had such a wonderful time. Everything was perfect. A special thanks to Karon, Dave, David and the young lady at the front desk (I think her name starts with an I). They helped so much and it just made things so much easier. All of the staff was so nice. Barb helped me with the planning. The food was delicious ( I loved the green beans, my favorite), the rooms were great and the service was good. Everyone of my family was very impressed with the whole weekend.

Stayed for a local youth tournament - 2 dbl bed room - room was good size, bathrooms were very small and no vent fan- A/C worked well (extremely hot outside with temp in the Mid-to-Upper 90's and VERY Humid) but it was a bit loud in room. Hotel was very full, and housekeeping did not occur until after 3pm on most days. Beds were above average with 4 pillows per bed - a definite plus. Common areas were fine - but due to heat outside, tough to really cool sufficiently. Attached Chili's resta... Read more

Stayed the 3-day weekend with my son for a lacrosse tournament. Nice clean room. The place has a mini refrigerator, decent complimentary breakfast, outdoor pool for the boys to chill in between daily games. Also has a mini laundry room on the 4th fl. Best thing is that there is a Chili's connected to the hotel. Nice to get a quick bite to eat and hang out with the parents for a quick drink at the bar.

Stayed to be close to MD State Fairgrounds, and the distance was good. It was also nice to have Chili's attached to the hotel. Room was nice, clean and very comfortable, included a mini fridge and microwave. Front desk staff (actually all staff we encountered) were super and friendly. Rooms and hall were quiet. Pool was OK, drains didn't seem to be working and there was a lot of debris in the pool from overhead trees. Only complaint--breakfast is NOT free, it is $5. That being said, my da... Read more

All of the employees I've encountered at this Holiday Inn's front desk have been quite pleasant, but one employee in particular has been extremely helpful. I have stayed at this Holiday Inn numerous times. One of their front desk employees, Ricky, has been consistently accommodating, and recently assisted me in booking a room far past the usual check-in time. I arrived early morning, and my Priceline reservation for the prior evening had been automatically cancelled by their audit system as a... Read more

The hotel is very easy to find, literally right off the highway! The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and were always accommodating to my request. When entering the room I found it to be very clean, with a mini fridge, nice shower and spacious bathroom..none of those cramped bathrooms where you feel like you're in a walk-in closet. The bed was very comfy! Reliable wifi.. trust me, this isn't always a given with hotels! The Keurig in the bedroom was a nice added bonus! As other posters s... Read more

My Boyfriend and I stayed here to be close to a wedding we were attending. We had a very nice King Rm on the 7th floor, it was close to the highway, but still it was a nice view. Everything was very clean when we arrived. We had a very late check in, due to our flight, but I had called ahead and let them know. The young lady at the front desk was delightful, esp for 11pm, she welcomed us w a smile and was so friendly, I'm sorry I can't remember her name. We had needed some allergy meds, so she ... First of all, there was no water service to the building the night of arrival; I understand the water issue was out of their hands ( City of Baltimore Water Works ), but still, treat your guests/customers with respect. Offer something (free meal, free cable, free night???). All I was told was that there was no water, and the front desk lady said they knew of the shut down well in advance (who knows if this was a valid answer)?..would have been nice to be given a heads up before we got there, o... The best room we've had for years - and a wonderful hot breakfast for $5.00! We used to stay at Best Westerns. The Holiday Inn kickback is better. Even though we had a free room, we accumulated points!

My daughter and I traveled to Baltimore for a medical appointment at Johns Hopkins and stayed at Holiday Inn Timonium. Samantha, Robin, and Mike went out of their way to ensure our visit experience was terrific! They recommended local dining venues, advised how to use the Light Rail and MARC trains to tour DC, and taught us how to read the train schedules. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. For $5/person, you can enjoy a hot breakfast. When we return to Baltimore, we will consider... Read more
