The staff at this Hilton Garden Inn was especially helpful, and obviously very interested in my experience being a positive one. For example, I ended up discovering late at night (arrival night) that I really needed a snack. I didn't want junk food (lots of that was available), so he night attendant asked me to tell her what would be better. "Fruit", I said. She disappeared for a short time and returned with a nice cold, crisp apple and a smile. Perfect.

The hotel staff was very gracious and accommodating especially with such a late arrival. The shuttle was sent to pick me up and I waited for less than 10 minutes. At check-in the front desk was very friendly and explained the amenities and options for my stay. The king room was very spacious, and well appointed for my business trip. I had great internet connectivity via Wi-Fi in my room, as well as a large desk to be able to have a comfortable "road" office. The bed was comfortable, and I appre... Read more

I picked this hotel due to convenience for working in the Baltimore metro area. Stayed three nights and was happy. Next door to Bob Evans, and Cracker Barrell across street and I believe a Chili's was within walking distance of hotel. Pleasantly surprised with the size of work out room, but I didn't need to use it because I was able to run outdoors around the business park and get a couple of miles in. Felt safe, low traffic area even from 5-7pm. I let them know about the running toilet (in... Read more

I had an extended business trip layover where I need a quick hotel stay. I had just had a bad experience in a neighboring hotel that morning so tried the HGI BWI on a whim. I'm glad I did. They had plenty of secure self-parking. Very friendly and courteous front desk staff and clean modern rooms. I had a rough morning so opted to stay in that night, had dinner at the hotel and a great made to order breakfast the next morning. Zero complaints. Was initially happy when I booked this Hotel through Priceline for a one night stay before a flight out of BWI the next day after reading so many positive reviews. On day of check out I went to use the shower after using the exercise room to find out there was no water. The sink and toilet also didn't work. This was my first stay here as I usually stay at the Hampton. While breakfast was not complimentary, the hotel was nicer, less crowded and off of the main road. Staff was courteous, room was clean and comfortable. The price was also less than the Hampton during this stay, which is not always the case. I would stay here again rather than the Hampton if the price is equivalent or less.

Got a very good price on a Sunday night which certainly made the value feel excellent! This is a prototypical HGI with lobby bar/restaurant, airport shuttle, pool and workout room. Jimmy was extremely helpful at the front desk and made our stay great by putting us in a nice corner room. The room was large and clean, with comfortable bed and good PTAC unit. This shuttle leaves every 30 min and it takes about 4-7 minutes to get to the airport.

As a Hilton Diamond member I have the opportunity to stay at mini Hilton branded hotels all over the country. Although this Hilton Garden Inn is not necessarily the most Swanky of Hilton's it is however one of the most Pleasant. It is conveniently located just outside of Baltimore so you don't have to stay in the city when doing business there. My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at BWI prior to our trip to Punta Cana, D.R. The hotel and room were very nice with easy access from the interstate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, fresh, and inviting! My only complaint was in the shower stall, there is mold on the ceiling. I'm sure it is hard to circulate air in there on the 3rd floor. Then I think the effort should constantly be to wipe down that area with a bleach cleaner to ensure mold cannot grow. Other than that, all good. Would stay again. Efficient and friendly at the front desk too!

This is a nice hotel but in the middle of a industrial/business area. There is not much nearby so you will need a cab or rental car to explore. But like I said, it's a nice little hotel, very clean, and friendly staff. No complaints here. There are not many restaurants nearby either. Maybe 2-3 that I remember being within walking distance. Seems like Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans and a Ruby Tuesday, maybe ?

We stayed here for three days in June. After bad experiences previously with Hampton Inn and Hilton in the area, this seemed like a refreshing change. This HGI is a little less expensive than the other two HGI hotels in Arundel Mills and Columbia, MD. But, the beds are just as comfortable! That was the most important thing this trip for my husband and I while attending 3 days of funeral services for my Dad. A great property and staff. Very professional and customer service oriented. There was an incident the night I stayed at this property where the boiler for the hotel went out resulting in no hot water during my morning shower. The property management did what they could until repairs were made to the boiler. Being a home owner I know that no one can really predict when a hot water heater will go out. It just happens. I am just glad that the weather was pleasant and warm, it would have made ... Read more

This is a very convenient location to UMBC. It makes it so easy to visit my son in college. The hotel is bright and cheery, and seems to be well kept. I did not try the restaurant on site, but the breakfast seem to be a good value.

I stayed here in Hilton Garden BWI Airport while I was attending a trade show at Baltimore convention center. Perfect location, perfectly clean and perfectly friendly staff. There is a gym also a small restaurant adjacent to the lobby. Lot's of parking space and its free. Hotel offer a free ride to the light rail station station where you can take a train ride to Baltimore convention center which is a 20 minutes ride and it is convenient. The only two small issues I could find with this hotel wa... Read more

Wow, what a great value! The location is awesome when flying in and out of BWI! The staff is truly super helpful! I mean they truly went the extra mile to accommodate my check-in, rental car turn-in and every other need that I had. The front desk and shuttle driver were simply great. I purchased the breakfast option, which is a tremendous value. I highly recommend purchasing the breakfast option! As a member of Hilton Honors, I received a room upgrade to a suite. Location was ok ... no much around to do or restaurants ... although service was great, building looked a bit run down and in process of being improved. Not impress with the price and services offered. I rather stay at different location closer to Arundell

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for one night prior to a very early train from the BWI Amtrak station. I arrived after 10 pm, and since I had checked in online, I just had to show ID and was soon on my way to my room on the 5th floor. While the path from the front desk to the elevator was starting to show some wear, the 5th floor hallway looked clean. My room, a queen-queen, was also clean. If I had a complaint about the property it is two minor things. First, the water in the sink never go... Read more

This location wasn't as nice as other HGIs I have stayed at. For instance, the carpet in the elevators was threadbare and dirty. The elevators took forever, which was really annoying when my key quit working twice during my 4 night stay. Parking is free but it was often hard to find a space. I've since been able to stay at 3 1/2 and 4 star hotels in the area for the same price, with much better results all around.

I have stayed at this location several times. Each time I have been quite satisfied with the service provided by the employees at this hotel. Everyone I have had interaction with has been very helpful. The staff is always so pleasant. I have found that this location is perfect for me to be able to have easy access to the interstate.

Very comfortable Hilton Garden, close to BWI. Great stay while on business. Nice and helpful staff. Would probably stay here every time in town however the rates fluctuate too much and at times are too high.

Booked this hotel to be close to Arundel Mills area. Check-in clerk didn't seem to show too much excitement to be at work. Hotel was pretty clean and room was comfy. When leaving the hotel, saw what looked like a standard comp. breakfast in the lobby. When I ask for a napkin to wrap up a bagel to go, the waiter said breakfast was $12.95. No one is there to tell you this before you grab food, only a small sign on the wall. Beware. All in all, a OK place to stay.

Had a great experience. Room was very clean and quiet. What made the icing on the cake was the staff. Specifically I had lost my USB cord and went to the front desk to see if they had any that had been turned in. A staff member named Ray offered to give me one of his personal cords. He went out to his vehicle and pulled a cord out to give to me. I told him I didn't want to take his and would buy one but he was insistent. Talk about going above and beyond!! Thank you Ray!

From the moment I got there the experience was wonderful. The person who checked us in was full of energy and quickly had us checked us while sharing all the features of the hotel. Lobby is clean and nicely appointed. Room was great. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We bought the breakfast plan which is well worth it. Omelettes made to order and a variety of other morning options. I will definitely stay here again.

This marks stay number 90 in a Hilton Garden in this year. From Dallas Texas to Kalispell Montana . By far the loudest hotel this year . The USPS has a Annex on the North side of the Hotel ,which operates 24/7 . Truck noise and horns also run 24/7 . Linthicum Heights Maryland has over 2 dozens hotels . You might want to try a different one . Yes the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly . But the noise was by far one of the worst this year .

So my travel year at work is up until April 2017. I've stayed at the hotel for 6 separate weeks in 2016. I've stayed so much that I've got to know the staff on a first name basis. The reason I stay here is it's very clean, safe location and the staff. Located just 9 miles from downtown Baltimore, makes my morning drive into town very quick and easy. 3 restaurants within walking distance and many within a 2-5 mile drive. On my last trip I was upgraded to a corner room, which didn't really impress... Read more

I have stayed at several hotels near BWI during past 5 years. This Hilton Garden Inn is the best IMHO. It is a little bit pricier then most others, but you get what you pay for. Staff goes out of their way to be friendly and help with any problems. Our first assigned room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, but at our complaint staff quickly gave us another room. Rooms are spacious for the price and include a nice sofa area in addition to the two beds. Delivery and pick up at BWI was q... Read more

We have stayed here many times in the past few years. Unfortunately every time we stay it gets worse in some way or another. Currently our second night of 6 planned. The hotel is dated but some updating has been done. Unfortunately the more important maintenance was not done. Katie the desk clerk was very nice and welcomed us back. While we were checking in she asked if we would like any housekeeping service Thanksgiving day. This was inappropriate and I don't expect it would be viewed well in... Read more

After a week in Europe, we were so happy to return to the familiar Hilton Garden Inn experience. Free airport shuttle, free full breakfast for us Hilton Gold members, and a microwave and mini fridge in the room. The hotel is showing some wear. The hallway carpet showed the normal discoloration of years of use. There was a harmless crack running along the ceiling of our room and some stray paint on the side of its keycard slot. If you can overlook such cosmetic issues, you'll have a great stay. ... Read more

My family and I stayed in this hotel for one night so that we could be close to the airport for our early morning flight. I wouldn't stay here any longer than one night. The rooms are that of a three star hotel, nothing more nothing less. The bathroom was small and the shower curtain was cloth so it didn't keep the water in the tub. The bathroom floor was like a lake after four showers. The check in person was very friendly.

I usually stay at another Hilton property near BWI, however I decided to give HGI a try. I was more than pleasantly surprised! From the shuttle driver to the restaurant staff, I was given the red carpet treatment. A welcome email from Shaun, the property manager was the icing on the cake! I plan to stay at this hotel when in the area again.
