This hotel is in the garden of hotels just outside of BWI. Very convenient to the airport and rail stations. There is a 24-hour shuttle to the airport and rail stations (on-call) and the staff is very friendly. There is complimentary breakfast, but its not healthy. If you can get by with waffles, toast, danish, muffins, cereal and watered down 'juice' then you'll be fine, otherwise, I'd suggest planning to go out. We stayed for one night and it was terrible. Things were missing off the walls (hair dryer) the wallpaper was coming off of walls and holes where in walls. DON'T do it even for one night! BAD!! Price was good but nasty hotel!!

No matter the problem I have encountered in traveling they have always been there to help me out. I have been stranded at the airport and they came out and picked me up. I needed a place to stay in the middle of the night when my flight ws cancelled and they gave me a room. I always go back to Microtel because I know I can count on them.

I thought a Wyndham property would be fine, even though it was the cheapest of neighboring hotels. There's a reason. The pillows were awful, the mattress was uncomfortable, and the room wasn't dirty, but felt like it hadn't been loved or updated in many years. The coffee in the morning was dark water and couldn't be drank and the staff members I met both day and night seemed less than delighted to be there. This is definitely only a 1-2 star place.

We found the facility adequate for our need at a reasonable price. We needed a place near BWI for an early morning flight. We would refer to this facility as a "tired motel." If what you need is a bed to rest your head between flights, this was adequate but with no frills.

This hotel was not the worst I have stayed in, but it was not the best either. We were staying overnight prior to our trip to Texas. The air conditioning did not work and the room was very stuffy. It was however very close to the airport.

Location was great, 5-7 minutes from BWI. Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate, good food. I had major problem with physical condition of room and outside of building. Wyndham really missed the boat. Building and landscaping in terrible condition. I would have rated much higher otherwise.

The hotel is dirty inside and out. The outside weeds are overgrown. My room looked like the carpet was never vacuumed. The only good thing was the hotel manager was very pleasant. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay before flying out of BWI and will only be staying a few hours to sleep it's just ok.

Affordable, and decent 2 night stay. Decor was outdated, and the courtesy shuttle was a bit slow. Waited about 40 min after calling for shuttle to arrive. Overall average on my list.

This Hotel needs a major refresh. Flooring in the elevator is coming up. And who needs black mirrors in a hotel room. Feels like out of the 80's. Bug in the tub in the morning. A/C was great in the room , but hallway had no air movement and very HOT!

Room just looked dirty.... Had shuttle pick us up at 5:30am so we missed the breakfast, there was some fruit and cereal out but was told we couldn't have any until breakfast hours started.... The AM shift employee working was so rude to us, no good morning, have a nice flight or anything. Not the best way to start a vacation. I stay at hotels a lot before flights but this is one hotel I won't b staying at again, I'll pay the extra $$$$ for better service.

I just needed an affordable room for one night and transport to and from the airport. On that score the Microtel Inn met my expectations. I got a clean room with something I wasn"t expectingÔ??microwave and fridge. staff was available and helpful. what more do you want forthe money?

Requested and confirmed 3 times for a suite with a sofa bed and roll in shower for my mother to easily get in/out of the lower sofa bed with her wheelchair and roll into the shower. Was not the case when I got there and i last confirmed the week before. Sofa bed suite was on the 3rd floor all the way in at the end of the hallway. The ac did not work in that room. You know how they say you get what you pay for? This hotel embodies that. I'm pretty sure some (if not most) of the guests lived there. Lobby was ridiculously hot all the time and there were weeds outside taller than my 2 year old. Breakfast was little more than make your own waffles. Nothing within walking distance except a 7-11. Bottom line, this hotel isn't a five star establishment but considering its $100 less than surrounding places, it's a steal.

We requested a smoke-free room. 1st room was heavy with cigarette smoke. The second room, we wore our shoes until bedtime. When we pulled down the covers the sheets were dirty. We slept in our clothes. Needless to say we got little sleep.

I arrive at the hotel from the BWI airport, on June 2016. Most of the surrounding hotels were booked to it's fullest capacity. Microtel hotel was economical and had a continental breakfast feature. Only issue I had was I was told I could not take anything on the shuttle from breakfast. Then told I could. Ran a little late to sit down. Shuttle was filthy inside. This I don't believe was from people taking food aboard but it probably didn't help either.

After reading multiple reviews both good and bad I chose this hotel for the price and location as I was only here for a few days to visit family. My room was clean which is mostly what I look for. I don't need any frills. I'm not a big breakfast eater so what they had was good enough for me, hard boiled eggs and toast. We stayed at this hotel two nights, three weeks apart. First night it was obvious the grounds and facility needed some TLC, however, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable air conditioning worked well. Pamela, at the front desk was especially helpful figuring out the fly, park, sleep options. The second night, three weeks later, TLC had happened. Grounds were mowed, lobby was more organized, etc.

We stayed here because we had an early flight and they provided parking while we were away and a shuttle to the airport. Our bathroom was dirty but the sink and toilet were clean. The price was right so I didn't expect much. The rooms are small and dated. The bathroom was marginal. Parking is only free while you're there. $7 a day after that and it's not secured. BWI long term is $8 a day and is more secure. Employees were somewhat helpful but didn't seem too concerned. Free continental breakfast doesn't start until 6 so if you have an early flight forget it. If you're only looking for a few hours sleep it's acceptable. Barely.

The hotel is nice for the price. The bed is clean hotel is dated. One of the staff named Eric Sprigs is the best. Excellent customer skills and it appeared he never went home. He made the visit painless. Thanks Eric!

Hotel was just ok. The AC was not working or on in elevator or hallways. When I got to my room it must have been 85-90 inside and took a few hours to cool down. The AC was very loud. At this hotel people and families are allowed to extended stay. From the outside and 95 degrees outside windows were opened and stuff was piled in front of the windows. It was late and I didn't want to cancel reservation so I kept it.

I wasn't pleased at all by this place. Arrived at night and had never stayed here before, didn't really know what I was getting into--we had a reservation and weren't too concerned with the rating because we were only staying one night. Room was TINY, found a few cigarette burns in the sheets. The bathroom was small too and there were a few areas surrounding the sink and tub where it looked like the appliances had shifted at one point and were now sealed with dirty caulk.

I cannot remember a hotel stay in the United States with worse accommodations. The entire hotel smelled of stale cigarette smoke. It was dirty and not very maintained. In my room, there was mold in the shower and the room was not cleaned between my first and second days. I arrived late in the evening and was checked in by a ill-mannered clerk.

The room was clean but had important items missing. The staff did what he could to replace what was needed in the room. He was very nice but I believe he was working alone at the time we checked in. He was checking guest in and bringing things to the room as needed.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. However the room was smelly and the bathroom had black mold around the toilet wall and shower ceiling.. Yellow stains in the living room ceiling. My husband got sick from the moldy smell. That's when noticed the mold & packed up in the middle of the night to head back to NJ. area.as well

Staff is nice, however there is a strong smell of mildew/mold,it is old and run down. If you have a mold allergy you will need to stay somewhere else. Does have a decent continental breakfast. I wouldn't stay here again because of the mildew and mold, if they can't control the mildew it makes me concerned about what other things they are missing

The hotel floors smelled of mildew and ac barely worked in the room. Also the fridge in the room had no place in it and didn't work well to start with. The font desk clerk, however, was on point in rendering service.

Rooms were very adequate. Beds comfortable and the bathroom updates were nice, clean, and noticeable. The entire property smelled of smoke. The elevator smelled of smoke. The breakfast area did not smell fresh either. My non-smoking room smelled fine once I got inside, shut my door, and turned on the A/C.

There needs to be queen beds available at your hotel.. You hotel could use some upgrades, the bathrooms, tvs.and rugs in the hallways. The breakfast was very good but could use additional tables and chairs. ALL AND ALL A GOOD STAY.

Sure, this motel has seen better days, but I was looking for something low cost for the short overnight before my a.m. flight. It was quiet and the bed was fine. Room was clean. Staff were professional and pleasant. I used the free shuttle to go get a bite up the road, and also to go to the airport in the am. Shuttle driver was accommodating and courteous. A basic spread of breakfast food offered in the morning was appreciated.

They say they have an Airport Shuttle, but the night manager doesn't answer the phone, during the day I even had trouble getting someone to answer the phone. I called to confirm that I was coming in at 11:00 pm, picked up my luggage, called this hotel from 11:20 PM until 44:45 I finally called the main number for Wyndham, they told me they would try to get through, that took another 20 minutes. Nice rooms, manager was very accommodating on the night of our arrival. However, the person at the desk who was working on the night we returned was rude and refused to provide specific information regarding where we would be picked up at the airport. It was not a pleasant experience to be treated so poorly at midnight after having traveled all day from the west coast. The van driver was apologetic and did his best to get us in the van as quickly as possible with our luggage.

I stayed at this hotel prior to flying out of BWI the night before to Minnesota and this was the worse stay I have had in a long time! This place is dirty dirty dirty! You cannot tell from the lobby or outside because it looks nice! Front desk very professional and pleasant..however the gloomy hallways and dirty room dirty walls dirty furniture plus an unflushed toilet walking into a clean room?? I just left never asked for another room never even asked for a refund I just wanted to leave and never come back! I refuse to have my 1yr old in that sort of environment!

Advertised free parking with shuttle to airport. Even called and spoke to front desk to clarify. Checked in and was told I booked on Expedia and now can't have tfhe free parking. The carpet in room and hall smell mildewed and bathroom tile has grout smeared everywhere and there is a 5 inch diameter stains on tfhe chair. Free WiFi ic you afde in center of desk/hotel. My room is at the end and no signal.

We had to stay one more night after my cousin's funeral, and the hotel we were already booked at was full. So my boyfriend (who is a Wyndham employee) called to get another reservation. This place was available, so he got us a room. The staff was excellent when we checked in. Upon entering the room, we were greatly disappointed. The walls and bathroom floor were dirty. My first and probably last Microtel. The AC system was extremely musty and the carpet was not vacuumed very well as there was a good bit dirt on it.

We wrote a great review already for the hotel! The hotel was really good however their rewards program stinks!!! I just found out that the 5 days we stayed there does not count for rewards. I had gotten a rate from Expedia that was really good so I called the hotel directly to book. I needed a room for the night. Being a serviceman in the armed forces, I got a military discount so that was good. Also the hotel that I stayed in was in close proximity to all of the restaurants which was good as well. As for the room that I stayed in, it was to my standards which were fairly high. Sorry we had to wake the airport transfer driver up. No help whatsoever with our luggage. The room was ugly and the air conditioner loud. Musty smell and mildew in the shower. Will no go again or recommend.

Notable improvements since June: 1) Friendly shuttle drivers, 2) Shuttle with A/C, 3) Laundered coverlet, 4) A/C in room did not rattle. Physical improvements hpoefully forthcoming. Still inadequate A/C in lobby, halls, and elevator.

We stayed here because of proximity to the airport (BWI) and because of the lowish price for a room. It was completely adequate - clean with comfortable bed and working television. I particularly liked the TV-watching bench and cushion located above the air conditioner. Not lots of room, but hey, it's micro, right?

The staff was very nice and helpful. However it is a franchise hotel and needs some serious help. The first room couldn't stay in at all. Burn marks on counters when request non smoking room. The next room was better but tears in carpet and not comfortable. The lobby had leather couch which looked like it was about to rip apart. They did say a new couch was coming the next day. Can not recommend this hotel until completely remodeled.

The hotel looks fine and except for very old bathrooms the room was acceptably furnished. However as in other reviews the room had a distinct unpleasant odor. It was masked by the Air Conditioner being turned on high when we got there but the room was freezing. We turned the AC off and noticed the smell within an hour, so it is probably moisture related. It was not a big deal since we arrived late and had a 6am shuttle to the airport. I would not recommend spending any length of time in the room... Read more

We flew in from BWI Airport, and this hotel was really close. The room was clean and though small, had everything that we needed, including a bathtub.

The staff especially the Manager Eric were fantastic and did an A+ job with the tools and product they had to work with. Room was "kinda" remodeled. Bathroom had some upgrades but mold on the shower walls and on wall by the toilet was not good. Could tell the hotel updated the prior mirror but only really painted over the gaps from the old larger mirror and the new smaller mirror. One of the most dissapointing stays I have had. Many flight delays put me in at about 1 a.m. The shuttle brought me to the Hotel. I was given a room that was still dirty from the previous guest. No bedding, drinks laying around, trash on the floor. I called the desk--of course there was no answer--it's about 2 am now. Walked down to the desk and no way to ring anyone that I could see. very old hotel/smoke odor in hall/nonsmoking room had cigarette burns on edge of tub/caulk coming off around shower head etc/needs upgrading/breakfast average/pipes were noisy all night

housekeepping could do a better job of cleaning. Room wasn't filthy but found strands of hair on the bathroom floor, dust on the mirror where it looked like the maid couldn't reach. Previous occupant locked the safe and it was useless for us.
