I was here for 3 nights for business. I stayed on the 7th floor. The hotel was quiet overall.....no issues to speak of. The breakfast is what you would expect from Embassy Suites. Took advantage of the pool area and hot tub....all just fine. The room furnishings were comfortable. My only issue...and it is very minor. They have the evening reception.....with only one bartender on staff all 3 nights, it was very tough to get a drink. However, just a minor inconvenience. This hotel is very... Read more

Crabcake sandwich is excellent as well as the crab soup. The evening reception with piano is a relaxing environment and the breakfast is so much better with made to order omlets and real dishes! They have a nice fitness center and pool. Rooms give you plenty of space to spread out with a separate living room.

I recently stayed in this property for 7 nights and found the staff in all depts to be helpful, polite, humorous and efficient. The rooms all come as sitting room plus bedroom. However all the sitting rooms seem to face on to the central atrium of the building, making them very, very gloomy as they have no window to outside light. The sitting room is quite big with attached sink but no cooking facilities or microwave. However the treasure is the bedroom which is enormous and faces on to the car ... Read more

We were in town to go the Preakness. The hotel was less than 30 minutes from the race track. Lots of restaurants within a short distance of the hotel. Plenty of mall shopping also close by. Easy access to major roadways. Staff was efficient and friendly. The complimentary breakfast had lots of choices and the food was fresh. We did not have time to take in the complimentary refreshments in the evening but people seemed to be enjoying them. Parking is free and easy to use. Overall my wif... Read more

Great service. They made my anniversary special. This was our third year anniversary. We stayed their before we got married but we did not enjoy the hotel before it was so much to do. On behalf of the they gave us a bottle of champagne, chocolate cover strawberries, and card. We will be definitely visiting soon. Please continue the excellence service that they provide.

We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. Upon arrival we heard that there was a prom and 4 weddings happening that same weekend. Although the hotel was busy, it easily accommodated all the guests. The staff was well prepared and very friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel.

It was OK. I mean, really, the breakfast alone makes it great, but....other things kinda tamped that down. Don't get me wrong. It was decent and safe and great location. However, the room had an odd smell. Smokey, musty something I don't know. But it hit you every time you walked in. The toilet got clogged up first night. Kid you not!!!! The happy hour, well, if you're going to offer free booze, then staff the place accordingly. Otherwise you get a bunch of frustrated pissed off people.... Read more

Wife and I had a weekend trip to Maryland for a family party. Last time we made the trip we stayed at a Hampton Inn, in Shrewsbury, PA., close to our destination and a Hilton Honors Hotel. Stayed here a number of times and the employees are always great!! Check in experience was very good. Rooms are looking a little tired - my cupboard door did not work, bathrooms are tired and the rooms need a little TLC and update. Room size is good, and beds are comfy. Breakfast has not changed in years but is functional. Lots of parking. There was an issue with kids phoning my room - a group came in, but cant be helped with the hotel!

Stayed at this hotel on a business trip. The staff was very pleasant, the lobby area was beautiful with the trees and koi pond. The complimentary hot breakfast was really good. They even had a fan in the room. The hotel itself could use some updating. The staff turned down the air conditioning in my room to the point it was freezing in there. Tired rooms with small bathrooms. Nice towels & linens. Beds could use new mattresses. Good layout, but carpet frayed & rooms generally just need redone. I think probably mainly here for team sports & moms. I would not stay here again.Tried a few times to call front desk on different days for items needed. Phone would ring over 50 times & then asked to hold. Broken fan in bathroom. Premium prices.

Stayed with business associate at the Residence Inn two weeks earlier. Glad to be back at the Embassy! Friendly staff, clean, cooked to order breakfast. The hotel is nice, but not amazing. We found the staff to be very nice, but overall the hotel is a bit tired. The lobby is very cool and it does seem like a rainforest. Our kids loved the fish in the lobby and that was a nice touch. We ate lunch at the restaurant and it was pretty good, and definitely reasonably priced which you often don't find in a hotel. Based on years of traveling, I have always liked the Embassy Suite brand. This particular property did offer me (a) great front desk service, (b) very good free breakfast, (c) good choice of beverages & light fare at evening reception - remember it is free and (d) a large and very clean suite. Unfortunately, this is an aging property and the lack of focus on maintaining a "fresh" look at least in my suite was very disappointing. Stayed in the hotel for one night while in town for a lacrosse tournament. I would recommend the hotel for quality, price and especially location near restaurants. However, do not stay in room 608 if you want connection to the outside world. It's a corner room and no one in my group could get WiFi due to its corner location. Everyone had to go into the hallway to connect. Otherwise, good place.

When I first read the reviews I was worried about the condition of the hotel. I was with our travel team and we had 7 rooms. Each room was clean and beds were like new. Brittany at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful. She was so kind to relocate us together and make sure everything was ok for our stay. The breakfast was great. And the managers reception was fantastic. There is a wegmans right near by. And a few restaurants.

As an Hilton Honors Member, the check in was a breeze. I love the fact that you can make reservations on line and choose the room you would like to stay in. The rooms were clean. I was busy shopping and touring the city of Baltimore so I didn't get a chance to take a dip in the pool. The breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful and professional. Very nice hotel over all. I was a little upset after calling the front desk and being told that they were open until 11pm. Friendly, well appointed hotel with first class service. Each evening there is a complimentary buffet with select bar drinks available. Rooms are large, internet is available throughout the entire hotel, and free for HH Honors members. A very nice breakfast buffet with something for everyone - regardless of culture. The hotel restaurant was also excellent, as was the bar menu. I can absolutely recommend a stay at this hotel.

This hotel needs updating in the rooms which seemed quite worn. Evening service in the bar had long waits for mediocre snacks. Breakfast was good during the week days but poor during the weekend. Looks like they are trying to economize while still charging full price.

I really liked the hotel, the room was clean and the hot made to order breakfast was top notch, the evening free cocktail hour was nice too. I only have one complaint, it is that each time I wanted to use the pool it was so crowded that I did not want to bother, there were so many kids in it I just could not see myself trying to relax in it. That is why I am only giving it a four star rating.

This hotel is very attractive with the plants, running water, and the indoor walking trails. The front desk staff were polite and efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable. The free wi-fi worked well for us. Breakfast area was large and well-kept and food items were replenished adequately. It is a ... Read more

This property allows smoking on the 7th floor and as you know Embassy's have atriums. Remember, breakfast, reception and dinner areas are all open spaces... The AC unit must need to be replaced because the property including my room always felt warm. The staff is friendly but if you want room service call from your room. I ordered a salad from the restaurant before I went to room upon arrival. I asked if room service could bring it up to my room. The hostess said, "The cart has already left... Read more

I enjoyed my stay very much. There was an issue with the lock on my door (lock was changed and just needed an adjustment), which was taken care of very quickly. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The room next to me was having a kids birthday party and they were up well after midnight. If I wasn't a night owl that would have been a big annoyance. Other than that, great stay.

As Hilton Diamond members, we were really disappointed in both the state of the property and service. We were on the member floor but the room had ripped carpet, torn curtains, rust and mold. The floor and carpet stayed damp the entire time. There was something going on with the air conditioner as well. It had to be set at 50 degrees for any relief. The entire place was a rain forest. Overall this hotel was okay, we received a "group rate" for a wedding but if I had to pay the normal cost I would've been disappointed. The rooms are nice and spacious. Especially the second TV. Bathrooms are very tight. The food was excellent for lunch and the continental breakfast the next morning. Elevators are very slow and rooms and lobby area are extremely hot. Bar service was very slow.

I enjoyed the comfortable beds and in suite kitchenette The location is very convenient across from the shopping center. I was able to walk over and purchase groceries at Wegmans for my mini fridge. There Is also a movie theater And numerous restaurants. And there is a light rail stop nearby. The temperature in the fitness room was way too hot though.

Digital key not ready for prime time. Not all of the locks are updated. You can only get in the room... No exterior doors to parking lot, pool, business center. The place is kind of creepy and old. The entire 2nd floor is leased to clothing stores and has a flea market kind of feel. The only good thing I can say is the staff are wonderfully trained and courteous. Rooms need to have filters changed more often to eliminate breathing problems for customers. Vents in rooms and bathrooms were dirty. Cleaning filters more often would also improve cooling and heating delivery in rooms resulting in less wear and tear on cooling and heating units. Housekeeping staff members need retooling so that they identify and notify their supervisors of problems in rooms before customers check in.

Location across from a shopping mall with access to MTA train system makes this a desirable lodging choice for suburban Baltimore.
