Great room, friendly and helpful staff! Would return if the opportunity came up.The bed was comfy, breakfast was hot and delicious. On a main road near many places to eat and a grocery store. Gas station close by. Everything was delightful!

This hotel is ok for a night or two if your in a pinch. The staff was great, breakfast was great they had a very nice variety to choose from, and the complementary soaps were very nice as well. However the rooms could have been a lot cleaner. That is why they did not get a 5/5 rating.

Stayed 5/4 as a 5K point reward night. This used to be a Comfort Inn and is located at the intersection of York Road and Route 145. It is an older 7 story building across from a shopping center. There are several nearby restaurants. Check in was cordial and efficient. Two fast elevators took us to our room. Although showing some age, the room was small but clean and comfortable with all expected amenities. The bed also was comfortable. Wifi was easy to access and stable. Our biggest com... Read more

Checked in and some of the major TV channels did not work, asked about the TV and they promised they would be fixed soon, as Directv was working on it. Several days later, after those channels were still not working, questioned the hotel again and now it was Verizons fault, NBC, PBS, NFL and other channels were not available. Noise is a problem, where security bars are being used by hotel staff and some guests to hold the doors instead of having to use room key to enter rooms, going back and... Read more

Stayed two nights here. Very friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffet (included in room rate) offers what you would need to start the day. Rooms are OK - the bathroom is pretty basic but the beds are good. If possible ask for a room at the back of the hotel which would save you the noise from York Road

The hotel was fine but I booked for the Friday after I had the Thurs booking. I inquired re. price and was told that the rates would be the same.On arrival I discovered that the Fri. rate was almost double the Thurs rate. The Manager(Mark Wright) apologized and made the rooms the same rate. He cut one night by 50% due to the bathroom not being cleaned properly. Thank you.

I stay at holiday inns often and this one was nothing special. No wow factor. Rooms were hard to cool down. Girl at front desk gave me no extra information ... Just the room key. After staying at the HI down the road in Catonsville this was like staying in a one star hotel.

I stay at a lot of these and I instantly know a good one from a mediocre one. This was the latter. The desk clerk gave me someone else's bill upon checking in, the room was obviously recently remade as a "modern" room with one of the worst bathrooms I've ever experienced. If I was a very large person or disabled, I dont think I could have gotten in the bathroom and shut the door. I had to stay two nights. First morning for breakfast they ran out of half and half and whole milk -- in spite of the... Read more

Typically, HIE is a great fall back option for me and my family, but our experience here wasn't typical. To be fair, let me separate the one time events from the ongoing issues. One time event: when we arrived, there was a lot of digging going on the in the parking lot. This ended up closing one of the entrances from York Rd. It was very difficult to hang a U-turn in my rental mini-van to get in the open entrance. The construction also took up about half the parking at the time everyone was ... Read more

When I checked in I was not offered the IHG platinum member goody bag or points like the other hotels do even when it's a reward night. The rooms are VERY small and the bathroom is worse This hotel is not a very good property. The cart we used to bring in our luggage had a flat and was difficult to use and there is no washer and dryer.

Hotel is nice. Location is good too. Has BF included in rent. But rooms are small. Over all good for 1-3 days stay. Room service is available for lunch / dinner but yes it is expensive. Burger king / sandwich shop / MacDonald is near walking distance.

The location is good and the room is reasonable. The breakfast is HIEXP typical, nothing special. The problem is the bad service. I arrived on Sunday 28th August 2016 afternoon after 12 hours flight and 5 hours' drive from JFK and asked the ladies from the reception to send them via email the boarding passes for Monday afternoon, so that they could print it for me. They refused, telling me that they were extremely buy, and proposed that I come to the business center to use the PC there and do i... Read more

The staff got us checked in early and were all friendly and helpful. No complaints with them. The tap water here tastes terrible, and they lock the filtered water dispenser after breakfast. They hosted a football team(s?) that kept people up all night on multiple floors. The hotel basically did nothing, despite us calling several times and identifying the rooms. They slammed doors constantly and yelled in the halls. We got little sleep that night. I later found out they've hosted the teams be... Read more

This is a pretty worn out hotel, and it can definitely use some cleaning , painting ,upgrading..... It is located on a major road and I would strongly suggest that getting a room facing the back of the property is essential if you want to sleep. Breakfast is standard US Holliday Inn. There is lots of parking available. Internet worked very well. Service was Ok, but nothing to write home about. With many more hotel choices close by, this will be my only stay at this property.

I came to Hunt valley to visit my grandpa and he got us a room here. We stayed for a week. The front desk, Jonathan, was very nice, there was a lady complaining about her points upon check in on the 6th and even though I said I was checking out on the 10th, he put the 9th instead. Alot of confusion on the 9th, but got it taken care of. The people and workers are nice and and the rooms are great, bed comfy, the ice is on the bottom floor, the shower seemed good. The bathroom we had was a corne... Read more

I stay in hotels on a weekly basis and this is the worst place I have ever stayed. The entire 2nd floor smells like a pot festival, there is no wifi, and I was told by the front desk that there is no hot water because everyone is getting ready for a party! The rooms are extremely small and the building seems very old. We chose to go out for breakfast even though it was included in our room rate. I feel bad for my cousins who booked a block of rooms in this ghetto hotel for their wedding We paid... Read more
