If IHG needed a property that does everything right, I would easily steer them here. They don't say no to requests, offer clean accommodations, provide a great pool and fitness area, supply an above brand standard breakfast, and offer great rates for their clean comfortable rooms. John was awesome, no questions about that. Our room, 120 was surprisingly quiet for being near literally everything. They property was well built, which is very rare nowadays with newer hotels. It's location is great a... Read more

This was a one night stay on our way down south. It is a great place to stop. It is right off 81. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast had a nice seating area with plenty of tables. There was a variety of breakfast foods and it was well stocked. The staff was helpful. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. The staff is very helpful, and the accommodations are comfortable. Ideal location and great amenities. This hotel offers complimentary breakfast. It is located close to shopping and restaurants.

We have selected this hotel a couple of times as it is a convenient stopover on our trip from NC to upstate NY. We have a dog so must find a pet friendly accommodation, and the hotel is within walking distance of a choice of restaurants. A welcome feature after several hours on the road. However, we were in room 102 (as that is one of the pet friendly rooms) and the A/C unit did not have a continuous fan option. Therefore, the unit loudly clunked on and off the entire night resulting in a sleep... Read more

Holiday Inn Express has been our choice of hotels for a while, but after staying here I was reminded why. From the warm greeting from James, to the VERY clean lobby and hallways, to the well-kept room, we could not have been happier. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices. James is certainly to be commended for his customer service. You would've thought we were the only people in the place with the way he treated us. WAY TO GO JAMES!!!!! :)

We stay here every time we travel from GA to the Northeast. The front desk is always very nice and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. It is also located close to many different restaurants to choose from. We will definitely be back!

My wife, grandson, and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was nice. Good sized rooms with comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good and ample, but not great. Note that the hotel is tucked at the very end of a road. It is very close to restaurants and shopping. It is also right by the junction of I-70 and I-81. I chose this hotel based on reviews and location. The location was perfect for the civil war trip my grandson was wanting. We flew in to Dulles... Read more

I was leading a fairly large group of youth on a church youth choir trip. We stayed in this hotel on our last night of the tour. First of all, when we arrived the desk staff was ready for us. The check-in was one of the quickest and smoothest I've ever experienced. The front desk crew was professional, welcoming, friendly, and well-prepared. The pool area was clean, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was hot and filling. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We ... Read more

Overall, the stay was good. But one glaring issue at this hotel came to light during our stay. I am the coach of a girls softball team that was staying at the hotel. During that stay, an older man followed one of my girls from the lobby, into the elevator, waited until she went into a room, then he knocked on the door. When she opened the door, he asked for a guy's name and looked past her into the room to see who was in there. When he heard the girls father's voice from the bathroom, he bo... Read more

Like everyone has said, the first floor is noisy. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest a floor higher up. I am a pretty deep sleeper and even I had a difficult time. Front desk was also very slow, there was only one person working the counter and we waited fifteen minutes. Not sure if it was a fluke or if it's always like that. Besides that, the hotel was great. It had very accommodating sleeping arrangements including a comfy King sized bed. It also had a microwave, refrigerator and Keu... Read more

I recently stayed here for business. A single lady on business. Staff, rooms and continental breakfast (cinnamon rolls) are great. No question about it I would stay here again on my next business trip to Hagerstown!

Spent one night here on our way home from NY to SC and I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was lovely and there were several restaurants within walking distance which was great after a long car ride. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was really good. Didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting.

Stayed on the 3rd floor, was pretty quiet given the hotel seemed pretty full. We stayed here as a stop over traveling north, appeared many others were doing the same. The room was clean and the check in was quick. The location is off I-81, close to a mall/some eating options along with Starbucks. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here before and certainly will again. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are always clean. The rooms are well insulated from outside noise - such as traffic, elevators, TVs in other rooms. The breakfast here is pretty good, and the breakfast hostess was very cheerful and nice! This is a great place to stay.

We stayed while visiting Antietam Battlefield. It's about 15 mins away. The staff were amazing, room was clean, quiet room, and as always a yummy breakfast to start your day. Only negative things is that the pool is so heavily chlorinated that we couldn't stay but for a few minutes because it was burning our eyes. But if back in the area we will stay here. Thanks for the great visit.

We stayed here on our way back from Myrtle Beach, SC to Syracuse, NY. I cannot express enough how impressed I was with this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our rooms (two rooms with two adults and one pre-teen in each) were incredibly clean and comfortable. The pool area was very clean and the hot tub worked. The pool is huge and CLEAN. The breakfast is like no breakfast I have ever seen... Pancakes, toast, bagels, hot cinnamon, eggs, omelets, bacon, the list goes on. T... Read more

We reserved six rooms for a family wedding. The staff could not have been more gracious about special requests for early check-in, extra towels, and complementary water. Good breakfast options (including gluten-free muffins, cereal, yogurt). Convenient walkway to Outback and Buffalo Wild Wings. Only complaint is the $50 pet fee which seems excessive compared to other pet friendly hotels.

We have stayed here before, and keep coming back. We are never disappointed. There are restaurant choices nearby, the rooms are quiet, and the people are friendly. They offer rapid checkout, that saves a stop at the front desk on the morning. The free breakfast is good, offering pancakes, eggs, and meats, as well as yogurt, muffins and bagels.

The employees were pleasant, the room was nice ( by the highway so noisy for me - my husband slept). The pool was nice but the hot tube was hot but not working. Just a note if you need help at the pool it won't come. In trying to get the jets to work , my husband hit the emergency call in error - no one came. Overall a good stay

My regular hotel had no rooms available over a long weekend. I booked with Holiday Inn. It was a fine experience, average all the way around. I had no problems. The room lacked amenities that are available in other hotels nearby. No view outside of the window and no way to darken the light coming into the room. I did enjoy the Keurig machine! Front desk staff were all helpful. Breakfast offerings were fair. Housekeeping was decent.

Stayed here one night with Hagey Bus tours. We were there on Friday night so nearby restaurants were VERY crowded (Buffalo wild wings & outback) so we went to hotel restaurant next door at Ramada. It was great! NOT a typical hotel food place. The Holiday Inn Express is very clean, pool big by standards and enjoyed.

Spent a weekend there while attending a football game. A group of 6 of us in 3 rooms (2 each). For our room we were each charged 2 times despite my having paid cash! The hotel tried to resolve it by correcting the incorrect billings to our credit cards, but wound up adding a third double charge rather than correctly refunding the original overcharges. Then when they finally did issue the refunds we wound up out-of-pocket by the hotel's not covering off shortfalls in the amounts refunded due to c... Read more

After recently staying in Competitor Hotels in Gatlinburg, TN and Charleston, SC we were not looking forward to another hotel stay. Those were bad. This was a wonderful stay. It was our anniversary and we wanted to relax. We booked a Jacuzzi room. The room was huge and very clean. The staff were very helpful. This was a huge upgrade from our previously mentioned stays above. Breakfast was good and very comparable to other Hotels, so nothing overly fancy. The biscuits were hard but the sausage gr...
