A relief to find a hotel where we could quickly get a clean and spacious room from a helpful staff. We did not have a reservation, but stopped here after a day's travel of nearly 800 miles. It was a good decision and gave us a good night's rest.

We wanted to spend the weekend visiting Antietam and Gettysburg and wanted an hotel between the two historic sites. This Hampton Inn fitted the requirement ideally with easy access to both, day one at Antietam and day two at Gettysburg. Typical of the brand the rooms are spacious and well furnished and the bathroom is very clean and well equipped. However, room 207 has the most complicated shower which we have ever confronted in the USA. Breakfasts were again typical of the brand: do it yourself... Read more

I stayed 1 night in May 2016 for business and found the property very well managed. Rooms and common areas were very clean and the breakfast was also nice. Overall, this property delivers the Hampton Inn's promise which seem to be fading away as Hilton has been adding more and more of these around the U.S. and some internationally.

Great Place and Affordable. If your between Gettysburg and Antietam this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is great. It is very clean and well maintained. It's like a five-star hotel without the five-star prices.

With a constantly changing schedule, was so glad to be able to call from the road and reserve a spot in the Hampton Inn in Hagerstown, MD. Front desk made sure our party got two rooms across the hall from each other, even though the hotel was almost full. Room was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. The closet was just the right size! Being able to buy a small bottle of wine at the desk, and kick back with the family after a long day on the road was great.

Pool area is nice and well maintained. There are alot of restaurants in the area. It's a good location near multiple highways. We will keep this hotel on our return list when we travel south again.

We stayed in a double queen standard room. The room was very nice. Modern and looked to be recently updated. There was a little night light in the bathroom which I thought was cute and clever. Very comfortable beds, but the pillows were a little on the small side for my taste. They have a little outdoor swimming pool that gets the afternoon-evening sun that we took advantage of. This hotel was a pleasure. It excelled in every way. As Hagerstown is not a particularly notable location, I am left wondering what is its secret. It is spacious, clean and comfortable. We didn't have the time or money to take the beach vacation that I wanted so instead we took a getaway at this hotel because of the outdoor pool. We received a GREAT rate. Other than the older lady at the front desk, my trip was reasonably pleasant. She was highly rude and made me feel like a second rate citizen, since I booked my room online and got a good deal. When I asked about the possibility to upgrade the room she acted as though it was ludicrous. We've stayed at Hampton Inns before and enjoyed our time but after staying in a couple other hotels and then coming back to a Hampton Inn... You truly learn to appreciate everything that is provided to you. Then when you factor in how nice the front desk was and how pleasant all of the staff was down in Hagerstown... That puts this Hampton Inn on another level. I don't plan on spending another night in a different hotel if there is a Hampton Inn near by.

The room was spacious enough and the bathroom even more so. Plenty of space to spread out. I also thought the design of the bathroom was smart so you didn't bump into any fixtures, hence, the spacious part. The staff was pleasant. The continental breakfast was average. Okay for gluten free, a little tougher for Paleo, but everything is for that diet. St... Read more

Went to a high school reunion and they set aside rooms for the event. Was surprised at the quality of the room and its d├ęcor. Customer service was outstanding. Complimentary breakfast is real breakfast, including eggs and breakfast meat and waffles. Free WiFi.

$200+ in a non destination town seems outrageous, but it was clean and staff was friendly for Marylanders! Room was modern and had convenient fridge and coffee maker! And iron. I wasn't out of my room by noon so it didn't get cleaned/ made up and more suspicious someone not me put a don't disturb sign on door. Wifi was good in room.

We drove a few miles out of the way (based on reviews) to stay at this hotel and we were not disappointed! Hotel and room was very clean, staff friendly and the bed and linens were very comfy! Slept like a baby after driving from New York in route to Tn. Well worth driving a few miles off 1-81. The breakfast was very good with omelets, potatoes, oatmeal, waffles and quite a few toppings!!!!

Inn was in a good location with shopping and restaurants within close range. Inn can be reached with little difficulty. Inn had two computers available for guest use and a well equipped exercise room.

We stopped here on way to our next stop. Made reservation using GPS to locate. Everyone very pleasant. We were acknowledged by all staff even if it was just with a smile. Larry at the front desk was very pleasant and even suggested best place to park. The breakfast had all fresh items. Replenished as soon as they were depleted. Good variety of items. Internet service was good as well.

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns but this was one of the nicest. It's a little far from I 81 but was worth the drive. Very large breakfast area. The only complaint would be a lack of a freezer compartment in their mini refrigerator. We travel with coolers and were not able to refreeze our cooler packs

Almost everything about this Hampton Inn was about what you would expect with the exception of the pool, in which the water looked a little odd so we did not go in, and a cockroach (alive) in the room. The people were nice and everything was clean. The facility was perhaps a little tired.
