We were staying for a softball tournament in the area. White comforter was stained all over. Not sure how housekeeping didn't see that. Hardly any food at the breakfast buffet despite being there at 7:00 am. One family in our group had their room cancelled for no reason and they took their stuff out of the room and put it behind the front desk. Would never stay here again.

The Country Inn and Suites is a five star. The rooms were immaculate and very roomy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was great- not large but enough for me.I did enjoy the breakfast available. Not just cereal and bagels. The waffles, sausage and eggs was a great plus. I will be looking for this hotel in other cities that I visit.

Very clean, comfortable hotel room. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Affordable and close to many restaurants. We were in town for a music festival and needed to book a second night while on our way to check in. The staff was wonderful in helping us out. We would definitely stay here again.

I booked a suite here. Room was clean but very plain. Just the basics it seemed even though it was a suite. Breakfast was not up to the normal standards I've experienced at other Country Inns. Selections seemed to be (again) just the basics without any variety. The orange juice tasted funny like it had turned. Mixture of real china and paper/plastic utensils and cups. Other Country Inns have real plates, silverware and cups which is a nice change from the breakfast norm at hotels in this cl... Read more

I travel for business and stay in my share of business hotels. I'm often happy with CIS. This location...while not bad is nothing spectacular either. The good news is you are right next door to a major mall and restaurants. The bad news is your right next door to a major mall and restaurants. Very "commercial" and not much "feel or vibe". The staff is pleasant but not necessarily overly welcoming. Front desk was a little slow, but only one on staff and working with a customer placing sev... Read more

This hotel was lovely and affordable for a family of 4. I LOVED that they had hot items included in their continental breakfast selection. The beds were so comfortable I wish I had the same one at home. I will definitely be making this hotel my go to place on future trips. LOVED it! I'm not the type of person that collects hotel toiletries but if you stay here OMG, check out the fragrance of the soap and shampoo it was SO nice!

Stayed for one day few problems but nothing major. Staff was very friendly, great location next to a mall and Chucky Cheese if you have kids. The pool opens early and closes late and breakfast was good. Did have to kill 3 ants in our room and the power went out for like two seconds freaked my 5 year old out but not a big deal. All in all worth the money.

Excellent staff, nice room, wonderful breakfast - superb! Great pillows. The bed was a wee bit too soft for my specific preference, but that is about the only thing I can remotely criticize. Great location, too.

Clean rooms, lobby, breakfast area, nice choices for breakfast and professional staff all around. But, Internet was slow and Dish TV has its problems. Misssing standard channels like USA, TNT, TV Land and others. Typical guests like young couple with kids, seniors, business, so no undesirables that seemed respectful of others

The GM was not a customer service oriented Manager. We traveled with a group and Nick the GM upset one of the travelers we were with. He refused to listen to their needs and was very condescending to our fellow traveler. After having a conversation the next day with Amber the Front End Supervisor the situation was resolved and with Amber's great customer service she made out visit enjoyable despite the GM. Thank you Amber!

We checked in late evening. Front desk personnel was very efficient and very friendly. We were very pleased with our room. We were on the fourth floor near the elevator which is generally something I try to avoid. There was no noise from the elevator at all. Our room was spotless and smelled clean. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We had a large group, and it was a great experience. We had a little ant issue, but it was taken care of immediately, and we have that at home too. We had a group picnic on the patio, and were asked if we needed water, allowed us to play music, and have a great time. Amber was the best employee ever! We will definitely use this hotel again.

One desk clerk was in charge of entire hotel during busy check-in. Room appeared to be clean, but both mattress protectors were soiled in assigned room. It took nearly 2 hours and "touring" of 4 alternative rooms before I was able to settle in for the night. The lone staff person, the desk clerk, was swamped by other guests checking in, computer glitches, and key pad malfunctions before she could resolve my problem. Manager was not present and did not respond to a phone message left the next da... Read more

The first thing I notice is the sticky floor just outside our room, and when we opened the door, there is a track of sticky stuff in the wood floor, and needed sweeping. No cups for coffee, the night stand is still dirty. Bed is comfortable however but I am only giving it a 2 star.

We love these hotels, they have everything you need including nice bathroom amenities, pools, and a good breakfast. They're clean and well kept, modern decor, and an excellent helpful staff. You can't beat this hotel, especially for the price.

So I get to The Country Inn and Suites Hotel at almost midnight completely exhausted with my reservation in hand from I am assigned a room, go up to the second floor, open the door and to my surprise there is a naked lady standing in front of me!!! Holy Crap! I shut the door quickly and go back downstairs to tell my story. The attendant then tells me she has no rooms for me??? I see two cards with keys available for people with reservations although I had a reservation she did n... Read more

Maybe I've become spoiled but this hotel did not meet the standard the others I've stayed in. My mattress was old and so soft that I woke up with a really bad backache. Also, woke up early because we could hear a child in the room above running back and forth in the room above us.

I stayed here a year ago and found that the few complaints I had have been rectified. Hagerstown still offers no cell service if you don't have Sprint but that has nothing to do with the hotel--just a warning to other travelers! My room was big and clean and had a couch. I had some fears when I got no hot water in the shower. It took a long time but, when it came it was nice and hot and there was super water pressure. The breakfast is great. There's a huge selection of all sorts of hot and cold ... Read more

We stayed one Saturday night in a king suite on our travels along I-81. The suite had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sleeper sofa. Very clean and roomy, lots of counter space. Small indoor pool, that we did not have time to use. Breakfast area was a good size with scrambled eggs, sausage, chipped beef and make-your-own waffles and the other standard items. Breakfast was served till 10:30 on weekends. There were also some outside tables. There were good peanut butter cookies in the lobby ... Read more

I stayed for 5 nights on business. It was quiet and pleasant. The breakfast was very good, with real plates and real food. The menu changed daily and included fresh fruit. The only problem was the internet was terrible. I had a room with a full refrigerator and stove, sink and microwave. Showerhead was fair.

This was an overnight stay in journey to week's romantic Ocean City visit. The suite chosen for us was ideal. We were situated close to all Hagerstown had to offer, and attended The Russian Ballet presentation of Swan Lake. We are thrilled to have been able to stay in such a lovely Inn.

This was a very comfortable and affordable hotel room. I stayed the night before my son's wedding and found the facilities to be excellent. The room was clean and had more amenities than many in which I have stayed for a higher price. The fitness room had many usefull pieces of equipment and the courtesy breakfast was nicely prepared. The internet and TV were all that I needed for a one night stay. i would recommend this hotel to others coming to the Hagerstown area.

Traveling back to our Florida home we stayed here for on night, rooms were clean, neat , and no mold in the bathroom,( which you find in a lot of room ) good job people . Front desk check-in was really good, person behind the counter was concern for the days travel \, and just made everything easy. asked if we needed anything, suggested a nice place for dinner which was with-in walking distance. since I just didn't want to drive after a long day. We had a girls shopping weekend and loved the proximity to the mall and outlet. We did not appreciate the ants in our bathroom, on the nightstand and on/in our beds. The front desk clerk acknowledged that there is an ant issue but offered no apology or compensation for the critters in our sleep space. The hotel was also quite noisy in the halls and above us. We probably would not stay here again, nor recommend to a friend or family member.

I woke up on my birthday, September 19 and decided to go some where new for a celebration. My husband wasn't able to go so I went alone. When I first arrived at this hotel no one could check in until around 4:30 because they were working on the AC in all rooms and all new guests had to wait downstairs. I was disappointed because I'm pregnant and wanted to rest after driving for over an hour. I rated this hotel a 4 due to that. However, after checking in an hour later, I forgot about b... Read more
