The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The free breakfast was disappointing. The french toast sticks were like cardboard. The eggs were rubbery and the bacon was dried out. I think everything might have been nuked from the day before.

Pleasantly surprised! An older two-story hotel (no elevator), but the inside has been totally renovated. Modern decor and plumbing, comfortable beds, and great service. Free breakfast was limited, but tasty, and it was in a large dining area.

This is an older hotel that has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are large and comfortable. This is a great location to get to all locations in the Hagerstown area. The morning breakfast is also very nice. A new Mexican Restaurant also just opened on this property and the food was very good and reasonably priced. You won't find a nicer hotel for the price anywhere. These owners are to be commended.

We left a disgustingly dirty hotel (filled with crazy people) and were desperate. We had three rooms at the first hotel and were losing all our money but just wanted to get out. This hotel and room type was a PERFECT!! We had two bedrooms, two baths and three queen beds. Fit us all together, staff was amazing...clean and comfortable. It was like a beacon in the night for us. Would love an elevator, but other than that, it was great. Would recommend and will return again.

First the good things. Price was really good for what is basically a mini- suite. There was a separate sitting area which was nice. TV swiveled so it could be seen from sofa or bed. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Location was convenient. It was quiet. Hot breakfast everyday but it was the same all 3 days. Bad things. No elevator. It sucks lugging things up stairs. Stairway smelled awful first night, but they did deodorize it the second day.

The hotel was about 7 miles off I81 but was almost half the price of the hotels on the highway. It was was easy to get to, room was nice, bathroom was spacious and breakfast was sufficient. We will stay there again.

The hotel itself is okay. It smells pretty musty. I'm really disappointed in the "fitness center." The treadmill doesn't work, and the elliptical is down right dangerous because the place for your feet turns outward mid-stride, and I nearly twisted my ankle, so the only piece of cardio that functions is the bike, but the screen doesn't work.

This is hotel is was one of the cleanest hotels my family and I have stayed in. Bedroom and bathroom was up to our standards. It was easy access off Route 40 and we would stay here again if I visit Hagerstown, Maryland again. GREAT HOTEL!!

Got a great rate by using the coupon book we picked up at the Welcome Center at the state line. James checked us in and gave us the type of room we wanted (quiet, on second floor). Excellent breakfast with multiple types of bread and pastries, eggs, sausage patties and several kinds of coffee and creams. Would definitely stay here again.

We are a family of five and reserved a room with two double beds and a pull-out couch. It was quite surprising when we got to the hotel and found the pull-out has seen better days and was in need of replacing. The mattress was wore out and thin in the center, leaving a bar pressing in against my back. The hotel staff were average, as was the condition of the hotel overall. The free breakfast was sub par and fair at best. Usually we have better conditions and experiences at the Comfort Inn chain.

My family and I chose this hotel for it's close proximity to DC, just over an hour away. The front desk staff was kind, the breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. The room was clean and looked to have been recently updated. While I wouldn't choose to spend a week here, the hotel served it's purpose for our 1 night stay.

Despite being guaranteed late arrival, this hotel attempted to charge me for four nights because I was "late". The clerk guessed at the zip code & my card declined... FOUR TIMES. Instead of calling me (they had my # from hotels.com) the gave my room away, stranding me & my family until 3:30am when we found another hotel. Horrible clerk, mean & unsympathetic. Didn't even attempt to help.

This was a nice place to stay after a long day of driving through several torrential downpours. Nicely appointed room that was clean and quiet. Rooms have fridge, microwave and safe. Breakfast food with many choices. Front desk staff pleasant and efficient.

This hotel is older but is clean and comfortable. When I stay at a hotel, I look for clean first and we certainly found that! Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and fresh - and the staff was friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel in Haggerstown on a couple of occasions. It is an ok hotel. There is nothing bad about it, but it is not exceptional either. We have stayed there because it is about 1/2 way from our eventual destination in Massachusetts. The hotel is not hard to find and is close to several restaurants. The staff are nice. The breakfast buffet is good. The rooms were fine. It is good value for the money.

We stay exclusively at Comfort Inns and affiliates and are very happy with their quality, pricing and being in virtually every city we travel to. This hotel has easy access from I70 and had a new Mexican restaurant within easy walking distance. The room was clean and spacious. The free breakfast had good eggs and sausage. Manager gave us a room close to the office and an entrance as requested.

We stayed here as we could not get a hotel in Gettysburg where we planned to visit. It was about a 30-40 min drive with easy access to the main highway for the drive. In general, we find the Comfort Inns & Suites a good value and felt this was a good choice for our 2 nights in the area. The hotel looked new. The bathroom was spotless and it actually had an exhaust fan which for some reason many places have done away with. i was able to get out of the shower without wiping down the mirror. ... Read more

Not up to my expectations for comfort Inn and suites, but it was fine. Room was clean and comfortable, a little dated. Slight smell of smoke upon entering. Fitness center had 2 out of 4 machines working. Free breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Pleasantly surprised! We stopped in at 4am because we were too tired to keep driving. I was unsure at first but when I went inside the front desk clerk was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, large clean rooms. Breakfast was typical. Not bad for the price.

After our reservation was lost in Chambersburg, PA Comfort Inn and they were booked solid we ended up at this Comfort Inn. The room was clean and the beds were soft. We were a little afraid that we would hear the noise from the club across the street but you couldn't hear one beat. They had a breakfast area but since we were close to a breakfast chain we went there instead. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay in this area.

First of all, this is an older hotel. When we arrived, we waited a bit at the front desk for a reservation issue with the person in front of us. We finally received our room key and drove to the designated entrance near the room. Upon entering there were bags of trash lining the hallway, the carpet was filthy and it reeked of tobacco smoke. I almost left then and there, but prevailed and went to our room. The room was surprisingly updated and clean but smelled of tobacco smoke (unacceptable... Read more

My brother and I just finished an enjoyable 5 night stay while on a hiking and civil war history vacation. For a "no frills" place, it certainly has all of the features we were looking for. The value per dollar would be hard to beat. The room was very clean and comfortable. The fridge, microwave and coffee maker are a nice touch (for us the fridge was imperative). It wasn't luxurious, but it was all we wanted, and more. The breakfast was simple - waffles or egg and sausage muffins were the hot ... Read more

A friendly staff, who were able to accommodate our request for an accessible room close to the lobby. Rooms were standard, and clean. Outside could use a little upkeep, but not bad. A/C cover falling off, needs weeding.

Decided to take an extra day traveling back north and chose this hotel because of its location. We were pleasantly surprised with both the room/suite, the sunset view and close proximity to restaurants, etc.
