Exit out the back of the Greenbelt parking lot to reach the hotel easily if coming from there. Little confusion with reservation at check in (had booked via Marriott member website) which was resolved quickly. They do not have an indoor pool but can use the facilities at 2 other nearby properties. Room was nice, clean, fold out sofa for the kiddo. Breakfast was included and was very good.

I stayed here for an extensive amount of time. I was here for nine months. I love this location as the staff was very helpful and courteous. Very clean facility and great location with a lot of restaurants nearby.

This hotel is located near NASA just off 495 and Baltimore Washington Highway. It's furnishings are modern and in good shape. The kitchen is fine for short stays and w full size refrigerator and dishwasher. Layout is clever and gives an airy feel. Service is very good. Wendy is superb.

I was visiting the University of Maryland College Park and stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. It's location is great - within walking distance to a Mall complex that has Giant's grocery, Target and quite a few dining options. The suite is very well appointed. Very comfortable beds, the sofa and chair in the living room is very comfortable. The kitchenette has all the utensils and cutlery I needed and when I wanted more, they readily supplied it. The staff are very helpful. The front desk was con... Read more

I travel a lot for work, and I'm usually a Hilton hotel chick, but wanted to stay at a Marriott to keep my status, and this hotel was a great option! The room are beautifully laid out: modern and contemporary. And Lorie Brown at the front desk was pleasant and helpful! The only reason for the 4 star and not 5 star is that it seems the breakfasts at all Residence Inns are lacking...microwaved eggs, basic (usually hard) potatoes, and fake tasting meats. I prefer Hilton's comparable Homewood Suit... Read more

It's becoming a common site at Marriott properties. I have to say out of the past 5-6 place we have stayed the hot tubs aren't in use. We chose where we stay based on if the place has a hot tub or not. This is happening to frequently, coprate needs to address this issue with all of their hotels. They advertise they have a whirlpool and bait you into your reservation and when you arrive.... It's drained, roped off or freezing cold. Very disappointed in another stay. Same thing 2 weeks ago in A... Read more

A little convoluted to get to. surrounded by other hotels and restaurants set back amongst the trees. Great staff,, very efficient and friendly. Comp wine with limited snacks in the main public area. chairs were comfortable. They were grouped so that small meetings would be possible. There was a pool and a TFIG within walking distance. Easy exit in the am with connection to I95

Me and my two boys we're traveling , we just got off and all night train ride 2 Washington DC. We were extremely tired and going to see the Orioles play that same day. I literally booked my room at 3 a.m. the same day. About 5 a.m. I called for early check-in although they couldn't guarantee it I rolled the dice and just went there after a visit 2 Annapolis that morning. Louis at check-in was phenomenal I told her our story and not only did she get us in the room at 11:30 a.m. she even upgraded ... Read more

From reservation to the last day, we loved it. The staff is warm and inviting and they take great care of you. Rooms are clean and spacious.Good breakfast. They gave great tips on what to see, how to get there. I felt safe the entire time I was here and it's a great property but the staff is what made the stay amazing. Shout out to Ms. Wendy Wilson (WW), Ms. Keisha, and Mr. Carlos. My family felt at home. This was my first time to the DC area but I'll definitely stay here on my next visit to D... Read more

We've stayed here many times. It's spacious, clean, convenient and offers free nightly activities for the whole family. The staff is great and always extremely helpful. It's conveniently located close to DC and many other attractions and offers safe and ample parking. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Check in was fine. The staff was great throughout our stay of three days - no complaints there. I was on a ground-floor room very close to an entrance, which was very convenient. We got a very good rate, so the value was definitely there. The problems I had were with the room, and with the technology. It baffles me that a hotel chain that specializes in suites with kitchens doesn't seem to know that the doors on refrigerators can be easily reversed so that they open TOWARD the kitchen area. I... Good Price Our room was not ready till after 6pm we tried to check in 3 times before that which was disappointing to kids who had been in the car all day. Room was clean and spacious but dated and things should significant wear. The hot tub was broken and life guard on duty stated it had been since they opened. Pool hours were awful.

The hotel is part of an office complex with other hotels. It is reasonably clean. The staff friendliness is pretty variable -- from very nice, to rather cranky. The receptionist was pleasant, welcoming, and efficient. The lobby has social hour and had a stand of iced water in glass jugs. I refilled my water bottle because it was 90+ degrees outside after I checked-in. Someone suddenly appeared out of the back of the kitchen to gripe at me not to touch the spigot with my bottle after I finished... Read more

Front Desk- rude and unprofessional. Carpets dirty, blinds broken and dirty. Bath faucet leaked the entire week I was stuck in that hotel. Government rate was $100 more a night than regular rate. I had to file a Dispute with my bank 6 weeks after trying numerous times, for money they retain when you book the room. I wish I had stayed next door hotel. Plan on using Uber of Lyft. Their shuttle was always late.

I used to believe that Residence Inn is a great place to stay and spend vacation time. But as I said "used to"... my stay here was not good at all. Was on a family vacation, stayed there for 3 nights. Stayed in one bedroom suite, found broken restroom door, and dish washer wasn't working. Reported the problem, but it was not fixed on first day instead on second day. Noise level from upper floors. Was stayed in room #324, but it was night mare. I had to call front desk twice. Second time with a n... Read more

No issues. Stayed for 2 weeks for work. Room was fine, clean, and all worked. Breakfast is good - eggs, bread, potatoes, cereals, waffles, yoghurts, some fruit. Evening social is so so. Monday Tuesday Wednesday. Monday is snacks, Tuesday is food, Wednesday is either a food truck or dessert. Shopping nearby so easy to get groceries. Kitchen utensils standard basic marriott - could use a better bread knife! I had little issues with staff or cleaning. Some reviews were not great - I think some issu... Read more

While visiting the University of Maryland we book a one night stay at the residence inn. WOW were we impressed with this place the location wasn't that far from the college and the room was amazing - it was an efficiency. Upon walking in to the right is a small but extremely functional stocked kitchen with full size refrigerator, 2 burner electric stove, sink, microwave, coffee pot and dishwasher. As a busy traveler, I am made to feel incredibly appreciated unlike all but one previous occasion. The success of any business is in the passion of it's people and that passion exudes from management on down at this lovely place. Business travelers are very dependent upon their selections in lodging for the basic commodities in life. Those resources are provided at this place in abundance with GREAT JOY! Overall an okay stay, but a couple things that could be improved. We arrived after midnight after a long drive. Understandably, the door was locked to the front desk. After trying the buzzer a few times, I dialed the front desk with my marriott app. This alerted the front desk, who was very pleasant checking us in. Also, a 2 night stay and requested extra towels for the 2 rooms we reserved. This didn't happen and as a platinum member, my experience is that Marriott is generally pretty cons... Read more

room was a suite, very nice and clean, but we put the do not disturb sign out for the morning, and the room ended up not being freshened up at all that day, so towels were used, beds unmade. included breakfast was mediocre. Staff very nice. Outdoor pool closed for the season, no indoor pool or jacuzzi.

Every morning before Alivia heads to the bus, we go down into the lobby to do Alivia's homework. Denise who is at the front desk will come over and give Alivia math problems and words to spell every morning and will give her a Lil treat. It is the sweetest thing!

This is a great location to stay if you are visiting DC. There are plenty of local restaurants and a supermarket if you want to cook using the full kitchen. It is a 15 min drive to the Redskins stadium (Fed-Ex Field), and a 5 min drive to the Greenbelt metro stop ($5 to park and an all day pass is $15 each - or $33 for 7 days). All the admin (front desk, breakfast...) are in a building while all the rooms are in a separate building with the pool/hot tub in a grassy area between them (it was c... Read more

A huge shout out to Wendy and her staff! I stayed here with my daughter for several weeks following surgery. My daughter attends the University of Maryland and this hotel is 10 minutes to campus.
